As it stands, this Starbucks is quite possibly my favorite right now. They just seem to have a great staff every time I visit, which has actually made me visit even more!! I haven't spent so much on Starbucks until now, thanks to these guys. They're efficient, kind, and not too pushy or in your face. It's a great environment for drive-thru, and great environment for studying/chilling. Smaller place, love how it's kind of tucked away. The staff doesn't also seem fake and too friendly. They make it a comfortable ordering experience. The inside dining doesn't seem loud and busy like other bigger stores get. read more

Do order mobile from this location. They don't know how to manage the system properly. Meaning that if they are slammed with orders they don't turn off mobile and they don't give mobile priority over drive thru. I waited 20 plus minutes for a mobile order after the pick up time meanwhile the drive thru orders were being rushed. My drink took over 30 minutes from my order time!! But a regular came in with a mobile order and they made hers right away and handed it directly to her from the non mobile pick up!! I was not the only customer waiting way beyond what is an appropriate time for a coffee but no one on staff ever said sorry to any of the customers waiting but instead said well we had a large order with 12 drinks. That's not the attitudes to have working in customer service! Worst experience at a Starbucks ever!! read more

Probably the slowest Starbucks in California...but it's not the employees fault, it's the engineers fault..they put the ordering kiosk too close to the pickup window..so the workers can only be 2-3 cars ahead of the game...if they move the ordering kiosk to the beginning of the drive thru entrance, I think it would be much more efficient read more

I came early morning before my shift to get some breakfast and a drink for me and my cowoker and the lady there did nothing but give me attitude when I was being 100% nice and did not talk to me once when I drove up to the window. She didn't even ask me how i wanted anything like how baristas usually do. When I left I looked at my food and saw that she didn't even bother to take my bagel out the plastic to warm it up nor did she give me the cream cheese I asked for. i'm sure she hates her job but at least be a kind person and be nice to others instead of ruining their day. Come to found out her name is TANYA and after talking with my employees, multiple of them have had the same attitude issue with her as well. she literally should not be representing a company like starbucks. I even called the manager after to try to resolve the issue and the manager as well gave attitude and cut me off mid explanation and did not care to hear of anything I had to say. This is one of the most quick and efficient Starbucks locations I have EVER been to (and I've been to quite a few). I stop at this location on my way to work and each time I am able to order, pay, and receive my drink in no more than 5 minutes. Even when the line is extending out of the drive-thru. It amazes me that this location can have such high traffic and still manage to give such great service each and every time. I can't give any specific names, but each and every employee I have come into contact with is always so kind and friendly. Where do I even start with this place. I go to Starbucks quite often but I am over going to this one. They are slow as hell and their employees don't even listen to what your ordering. I always end up having to go back in because they make my order wrong. Their drinks taste like complete crap. You wait in the drive through and have to end up waiting in line inside. Don't waste your time going to this Starbucks. There are plenty of other ones you can go too. Plus all the dumb ass high schoolers hang out there after school and they are beyond obnoxious and the employees do nothing about them. I usually give a mediocre review for this Starbucks but this location definitely has an All-Star team player/worker. My boyfriend and I have a Starbucks closer to our apartment but we come here for TAMMIE aka SUGER MOMMA. I've seen this woman go back and forth the entire place making sure she gets the costumers drink done way beyond normal wait time. We literally wake up not by just the coffee but how much passion and dedication we see her do when she's in the shop! If you're near the Promenade Mall in Temecula, this Starbucks is the closest in the area with a drive-thru. There are several other Starbucks locations much closer to the mall but I go a little out of my way for this Starbucks so I can use the drive-thru to avoid the crowds at the other locations. This location deals with probably a few hundred kids from the adjacent high school everyday and still every time I'm there they are beyond pleasant. I'm sad that this Starbucks didn't work out for me. This is the closest one to my house, and it is super convenient to stop by in the mornings. I can say that I am pretty much a regular at this point. I often order on the mobile app, so there is pretty much no room for error, unless it is coming from my end. At times the orders will be wrong. I know they are busy during the time I stop by, and I am patient with them. I am pretty soft-spoken, due to having chronic bronchitis, so it is often difficult for me to get their attention when I am picking up my mobile order, unless the manager is there. The manager is great, which is why I gave this place 2 stars. She is super attentive and super professional. I at times feel bad for her because it seems that she has to micromanage all the time. I say has to because the standard of service vastly differs when she is not there. Yesterday I ordered (manager was not there), a grande royal English breakfast black tea, with soy and sugar free vanilla. I grabbed my drink and food like usual and took off. Tea is usually super hot so I put a stopper on the top, and went on my way. I drive an hour away to get to work every morning, so I had time to let my tea cool. As I drove away, I let it sit for about 5 minutes before taking my first sip. It smelled a little different, but I didn't really pay close attention because I saw the two tea bags and soy. I drank a big sip, and realized that it was Earl Grey. First of all, I really don't like the taste of Earl Grey, and second of all, I am mildly allergic to bergamot, meaning I am allergic to the oil in Earl Grey. Which is why I didn't order Earl Gray. My throat immediately started scratching up and swelling. I am a teacher, and my whole job requires me to be talking to students and teaching the entire day. Needless to say, even after taking a benedryl my day was pretty much extremely uncomfortable. I am one of those people that is relatively easy going and I don't complain much and I make the best out of a wrong order, but this was the final straw. Will not be returning to this Starbucks. Again, I gave it 2 stars because the manager is great. There are also some really sweet baristas there that I will miss :( read more

I have ordered my coffee heated up to 190 for many years with no issue. Today at the Temecula mall location I order my usual and the barista calls out my name. I go to pick it up and she states in front of everyone standing there "We can't heat coffee past 170 So you need to know you can't order it up to 190" I let her know it hasn't been an issue before. Her response, "Well this is for your future reference." I contacted my daughter in law who works for Starbucks and she let me know this "only heat to 170" is in fact not true. Ultimate drive thru experience! I am always impressed at how this location can always get it right. I drive up to a looooong line and think ugh I will never make I to work on time. Then seconds later I am ordering. Tammy is the friendliest employee ever. She greets you with a cheerful get it done quick attitude. You get to the window where you are greeted with a smile and she is ready to give you your order. Seriously 10 cars ahead of me and I can be out is minimal time.
