One of the best Starbucks location I've been too. This location is very new. The drive-thru can be a little tricky, but it's located in between the 2 buildings. I know it's "JUST A COFFEE" , but for Starbucks they should have exceptional customer service and they got it! The service is phenomenal. The drive-thru is fast and the barista's are always pleasant. My drinks are always made to perfection and worth every penny.. Luckily this Starbucks is located on side of Palomar airport rd on my way to work. Woo! read more

Closing hours showed 6:30pm on Sunday Nov.10, we drove through the drive thru at 6:18pm and no one was there to take our order. We decided to drive to the window and there was a lady cleaning up and completely ignore our presence even though we made eye contact. Sad that customer service came in second tonight. read more

I do love my coffee and this Starbucks is a great location. Clean inside and the drive through is fast and easy! They always have paninis in stock and the staff are always super friendly when ordering and receiving my coffee and/or food. This Starbucks is also very spacious inside and I can always find parking. read more

With chain businesses, you tend to expect a level of consistency. I don't know if they were busy, or understaffed or what, but the drinks were gross, the ratio of ice to drink was insane. There was hardly any drink. I expected more. Everyone in my party had a similar experience. But, because I do understand that things can be difficult, and there are a variety of reasons for unpleasant drinks, 3 stars instead of 1. This place is straight up garbage. I just ordered a coco caramel latte & a caramel crunch frap & they were both made incorrectly. First of, the latte tasted like hot coco, like where is the freaken caramel?? My husband's frap didn't taste like caramel AT ALL. How do you mess up a caramel frap like that????? This particular Starbucks has never messed up an order of mine, and the drive-thru is always exceptionally quick. Even in the mornings before work, when the drive-thru line has almost 10 cars in it, you will rarely be in the line longer than 5 minutes. The drive-thru entrance is tricky to find the first time, and is very very tight for larger vehicles. read more

An Americano is the easiest drink to make. Shots of espresso and add some hot water. This Starbucks managed to ruin an Americano by making it literally taste like dirt. Service in the store was horrible, 2/3 drinks came back to back and I had to wait for the 3rd drink for another 5 minutes. By that time the first two drinks got cold. I came here for the first time this past weekend with the family at the tail end of a long walk and were completely underwhelmed with the service. From the great reviews here, it sounds like they were just having an off morning but it was disappointing, to say the least. The cashier was not very friendly AT ALL and when asked for a cup of water for the little one, the barista just handed us the cup of water without a word being said. It's conveniently located for me, the staff is typically friendly, but the center it's located in can be a bit crazy around lunch hours. But more than anything... who puts a speed bump RIGHT after you receive your coffee and are leaving? That seems like a really bad idea. Visited this Starbucks via drive-through on June 3. I asked for blonde roast- but they were out, so the gentleman offered a pike roast on the house in regards to the inconvenience. I gladly accepted! ( the pike is so good, how could I not) plus, they filled my reusable mug, and I'm grateful for that! The three gentleman that helped me that day are quintessential staff coffee shop owners should have at a coffee shop. They were friendly, quick, Understanding and above all they made my experience so delightful. Their names were Brandon, Brian, and Joe (and one more inside that I didn't catch a name to credit!). A big thank you to whoever helped train these fabulous baristas! I don't visit Starbucks often, but I will be coming back to this location soon! Thanks guys and gal! read more

i usually really like this Starbucks location bc it is close to my house and very fast. But I was a little disappointed today when I got home and took the lid off of my grande drink too cool down before drinking it and noticed that it wasn't completely full. I feel a little jipped out. read more

They accidentally gave us the wrong drinks, but we didn't realize the error until we got home. Ok. Fine. It happens. But since the drinks weren't even close, I drove all the way back and was informed they'd remake them--no apology. Hmmm. Ok. Gave me the correct drinks and said, "we remade these for you and I'll only charge you for the pastry." Literally like she was doing me a favor making me the correct drinks this time. When I asked if they could comp the pastry I ordered since I had to drive all the way back to the store to get what we had ordered, (but I had my phone ready to pay), the barista snootily informed me "you got 2 drinks for free". Ummmm, no. I literally paid for drinks that I didn't receive when you handed us the wrong customer's drinks. Then I had to drive all the way back to your location from home to get the drinks I DID pay for. How the heck is that "for free". Not like I got a refund or drank and enjoyed the wrong drinks. Didn't apologize, just charged me for a burnt croissant they handed me. I was super nice until she said I got the drinks for free--then I had to explain to her that I literally got nothing for free since I had paid for the drinks and was super inconvenienced. Two baristas involved. Neither apologized. They need to be trained on customer service and in the basics of ordering and delivering in the food industry. How is receiving the wrong person's drinks and making a customer drive back to your store not worth at minimum a sincere apology, and honestly maybe a complimentary pastry? Wasn't like they just made the drink with the wrong milk or forgot the foam. It was a completely different order. WTH?! Super rude. Lots of other Starbucks in the area with more competent and service focused employees. Wish I took a pic of the burnt pastry I paid for and threw away too. read more

I put $75 on my gold card. Then I transferred that money to gift cards for my employees. Come to find out, all cards had either 0 or 5 cents on each one. The funds never transferred to the gift cards. I went to store and spoke with manager (older woman) who said I need the cards, not just my gold card and proof of receipt. I get them and come back the next day. She sees that 5 of the cards are either 5 cents or 0. One of the cards has $9 on it and says the store number it was used in. It appears it's an escondido store. I tell her we did not make this purchase. The gift cards have been locked up since purchase until my staff meeting where I handed them out. I bought on 9-26. The activity on this card was 9-28. I handed the cards out on 10-6. She says she has to call her regional manager and will call me. A day goes by and I hear nothing. I call her. She says now they're doing an investigation at that store to see who made the purchase. I again have to wait to give the gift cards to my staff. I've been with starbucks since I got my gold card in 2008. What's that tell you? I've been a long standing customer. I'm curious why they wouldn't fix all the cards immediately. At least fix the cards that have zero or 5 cents on them. Customer service wise, they should fix all of them. Is $9 really worth having me wait to find out what their problem is. The manager is now suggesting that my starbucks card somehow got hacked. Is this even possible? I'm in the service industry. This is a good lesson on what's the way to take care of a customer well! I'm going out for coffee now; will got to Pete's which is double the time. I'm hoping Starbucks will do the right thing and take care of me well. They are known for good service. I've never had an issue in all the years I've frequented there. I just don't believe that this was the best move on their part. I appreciate the free cup of coffee she gave me, but come on let's do the right thing here. read more

I was running late this morning and forgot my purse at home lol (Who does that), got to Starbucks because I needed my coffee and realized I forgot my cards.
