Ordered three drinks online and was promised my order by 11:28. When I went to go pick it up, they only had one drink ready. Fine, I waiting another 20 minutes while I watched other people get their drinks. I checked the order status on my phone to see if it was still in progress...it wasn't...the order had been closed out before I even got my other two drinks. When I asked the barista when I could expect the other drinks he was short with me and just said "hm I guess I'll make it now". Ended up getting my three drinks damn near an hour after they were promised to me - while the one that was ready on time sat and got flat and cold. Do better Starbucks! read more

I'm completely a fan of the fact that they're a mere 4 minutes from my house and they have a drive thru. Somehow this Starbucks completely escaped my attention the first year and a half I lived here. I mean, a new city with so many coffee spots to try. Starbucks kind of took the back burner. But, occasionally, a girl needs quick coffee on the fly. And, that, my friend, is when a drive-thru is completely invaluable. The service is lovely, but I will say they do seem to prioritize the drive thru orders. This place sucks at night. It's what happens when you hire a bunch of Millennials without putting an older person in charge. The first time I went there at night, about 8:30pm, I walked in and do you think I was greeted by a "Hello" or "Welcome" like at other normal Starbucks? No. I sat down and one of the young punks walks up to me and says, "We're closing in a half hour." Well, nice to see you, too. Last night they were even more aggressive. I got there about 7:15 pm and after ordering, sat down at a long table and began writing on my laptop. There was also another man there using his laptop. At 8, a Millennial walks up to us and says, "We'll be closing in an hour." Uh, okay. Because it takes an hour to pack up laptops, grab your coffee, and leave? Sure made us feel welcome. Comes 8:15 and the young dude starts sweeping around us. Then he wipes down the table around our drinks and computers. THEN he stacks the rest of the chairs on the table! At this point his message became clear: leave ASAP so that we can clean up and get out of here by 9:00. I couldn't concentrate with this guy hovering around so I packed up to go at about 8:30. Really, I just couldn't take it anymore. But I had to pee. I brought a backpack and instead of taking it with me into the bathroom, I left it on my chair just to irritate the punk. This has always been my to go to location and never had problems, unfortunately today customer service was horrible! I went through the drive thru and ordered the same drink I always order almost daily and was told I could not order it in the cup size I requested. (Double expresso, over ice in a trenta cup) I even asked if it was a mater that I needed to pay extra for the cup, but was once again told I could not order it that way. Once I got to the window to pay, I was given a drink that was not what I ordered. I was told by the lady at the window that was in fact what I ordered, again I order this same drink daily and it looked no where like what I got. (This drink was creamy and full to the top, where my drink is just 2 shots of expresso over ice). No refund was given for the mistake and price difference, I was told I could just keep the other drink. Needless to say, I wont be back. read more

Trash! Used mobile order, nothing on the app indicated that the mobile order is not available nor that the store was closed. So I order and it processes and takes the cash from my Starbucks card. Gives me a time to pick it up, went and the store is closed. Knowing how the system works for Starbucks that decision is made before the store is opened. By the manager. I wish this review meant something!!!! Lol. Obviously though it's Starbucks, nothing will change and they're doing just fine, bad reviews and all. This location in particular makes me feel like an addict and/or a crazy person because I keep coming back for more. TIP: If you enter the drive-thru line and it's wrapped around Qdoba... 40 MINUTE wait guaranteed. And that's pretty often. These are $5 and $6 drinks people! Why do I keep doing this to myself??? I also kind of wanted to share this one experience: So back on Christmas (I believe) they were open until 3pm. We were one of *those* people that wanted to go get coffee. I know, terrible, but whatever. So they never updated the Google hours and we only truly knew they were open because they had a line. We get in line, not knowing the 3pm closing time. We're waiting about 25 minutes and there are two cars left until we order. The first car flies outta the line and I roll the window down to hear the car in front order. "Sorry we close at 3." "It's 2:58 can I please order? I've been waiting" "No, we're closed" There's like 10 more cars behind me!!!! Due to the Covid-19 situation that has halted everything, I could not get my coffee at my usual spot. I was heading down 43rd street near Miller Park and saw this Starbucks.. the drive thru was pretty long but I needed a latte! The line was moving pretty good, I placed my order in the pouring rain and my wait time was 5-7 minutes tops!! They are wearing gloves for protection while taking money and handing you your order. Dear Starbucks Miller Park Way, I love you, but I need a greater sense of urgency at the drive thru. This location has, by far, the slowest drive-thru service I've ever experienced. (The Whitefish Bay location has the slowest counter service ever). You do a great job with drinks and you are generally very friendly, but it is a high traffic location and you are obscenely slow. I know it's not just a lot of cars, because as I creep towards the front of the line I see cars just waiting for their drinks and I usually end up sitting at the window for several minutes waiting for mine. I don't usually make use of drive-through coffee shops. My first choice would be to sit at a nice locally owned independent cafe and enjoy some coffee while I read or get some work done. Second choice would be to save money by brewing fresh ground at home. Third choice, when on the run, would be McDonald's, their coffee isn't bad, and yet I found myself needing some caffeine, and the McDonalds had a really long line of cars, I was in a hurry between places and needed the boost. You need all this background information. My recommendation is limited, if you need drive through coffee in the Miller Park area, this is your best choice. Just got back from picking up my morning coffee and let's just say I got more air than I did coffee. I get home to find out that HALF of the "coffee" I just paid for is air. Half of my cup was empty. Like really, could you not have taken the time to at least try to fill up my cup. read more

Visited starbucks on Millerpark Way, ordered venti iced caramel macchiato with an extra shot of espresso which is my usual drink. I made it to work and realized the drink wasn't as strong as expected. Called and spoke with management who was kind of rude while blaming my lack of coffee on me. So I basically paid almost $8.00 dollars for a cup of almond milk is what I explained to him. He wanted me to bring the drink back at 4pm when I got off work so he could take a look at it, I purchased it time stamped at 7:56 am (hmmm, was he going to taste it?) I frequent Starbucks quite often and never experienced such service. After being rude his tone changed and he offered to remake my drink after I mentioned making a complaint against him. I agreed but decided against it because the drive just wasn't worth it. I will never stop at this Starbucks again read more

This location is horrible, 2 times in the last month I've gone there and they completely forgot to make my order. Then someone asks me what I'm waiting for and I tell them, thinking they have the details of my order somewhere. But no they don't, and they end up making it wrong. Now I'm late for work. This Starbucks had tons of people begging for money walking back and forth behind the building and all through the drive thru area knocking on people's windows. Was very uncomfortable. This happened twice while waiting for our drinks and once more exiting to get back onto the main road. We also waited about 15 or so minutes for our drinks, super slow. read more

Seriously every single time I come to this drive thru I wait a at least 10-25 minutes. They need a better system, tell the cars to pull up to wait. Idk something it seems like a store error considering I've never had it happen at any other store and it happens at this one every time......and you can't even pull out of the line you are stuck waiting, since a parking lot is in the other side. Tell me why its 9:40pm place closes at 10, lights are still on and I just saw someone leave with a drink, but these two workers in here ignored us in the drive through even when I pulled to the window and beeped for attention they still ignored us. The lady even looked me in the eyes and turned away. So I decided to walk in and have a talk to see why and they tell me that they're closed although it says they close at 10pm? I only got blurry pictures of the lady in glasses, but there was also a Male worker there too. I wouldn't be so upset if they would have just told me that they were closed at the drive through, but they chose to ignore us. Downward Death Spiral. I used to be a regular customer. Here are examples of what led me to stop going; They often don't have any other coffee besides Pike unless you willing to wait for a pour-over. The line is redonkulous. The orders are often wrong. I broke down today and went anyway. The drive through was too long to count. I waited for 2 minutes before any of the 8 staff members even acknowledged me at the counter. They had no decaf unless I waited for a pour-over. While I waited for my unsweetened ice coffee another customer asked (while showing his receipt) if the box of coffee was his and the barista said,"I don't know.", shrugged her shoulders and ignored him. I got my coffee and the creamer was empty. I fixed my coffee and then had to wait for a straw because the holder was empty. I finally got into my car and discovered the coffee was sweetened. I walked back and told another barista. She literally sighed and said, "ok, you have to wait." Over and over and over again, this is the scenario. I quit. For real now. read more

I can go to the store and for less than $10 I can get a container of 120 cups of coffee that I can make and enjoy whenever I want. The only reason to go to Starbucks is the service. This Starbucks has declined so much that 15-20 minutes is a typical wait time and the service is terrible. We arrived with 25 minutes left of happy hour, waited about twenty minutes in drive through, then wanted to make sure they would still honor the BOGO. We still had five minutes before 7pm but the counter person told us that it didn't matter and the deal would not be honored because it would be past time by time we got to the window. We tried to work it out with her, as there are literally 4-5 different ways they could have comped the second drink if their software wouldn't allow the BOGO, but she said no. Solution? We drove ten minutes to another Starbucks and they DID honor the BOGO even though we were now late for it and we didn't even ask them to. We will probably not go back to this one as it is not worth the service and hassle. read more

This past Sunday I had a horrible experience at this location. After spending 20 minutes in the drive through line (which was already enough to irritate a person), I was just about to get up to the window to pay and the car in front of me received the order incorrectly (it was 4 incorrect drinks). I spent another 15 minutes waiting for their order to be corrected. (Could they not have been asked to park in the lot and their drinks be walked out to them so the rest of us could move along in the line?!) So after spending close to 40 minutes waiting I FINALLY arrived at the window and was promptly handed an incorrect order. I told the worker that that was not what I had order and he just started at my blankly.There were literally 5 other works just standing there near the window doing nothing. I said forget it, and just drove away. I understand that there can be confusion at a place like this at times, but there were so many ways this could have gone better and it was just a massive disappointment.
