The absolute BEST! I consider myself a professional patient as I am a stage four melanoma survivor…read moreand have also had five surgeries on one knee Thru the last 20 years. I was also hit last year head on twice in 6 months by drunk drivers. Broke both wrists, ( and of course I am a photographer) spine and neck and head injuries. So when I say these guys are the best I mean it. I have seen two docs and their PA's. I was called on time. Everyone from the front desk to the back is so kind and professional. The docs and PA's take time to discuss everything with you. Options etc. I can feel their compassion for my pain and injuries. These are real PRO's. I went to South Texas Bone and Joint in Corpus Christi and saw three docs there for spine, knees and wrists that all need surgeries. That place and the doctors were a nightmare. And you are there waiting for hours. Then they gave me three min. It's like night and day here compared to them. I drove from Port Aransas to here and will continue. I feel like I am in good hands and feel safe with the two docs here so far. Awesome!!!!!!

The nursing staff was awesome. Dominique was incredible in the ER. The nursing staff on the 4th…read morefloor were amazing. They were involved enough I didn't feel forgotten but not so involved that they drove me crazy!! They genuinely seem to care and they treat you with such respect. Some of the doctors are less than! I was put in at room and forgotten about for 12.5 hours. The doctors just act like they're above you. They're Impersonal and they simply don't bother to talk to you. I had internal bleeding from a previous surgery. They fixed it after waiting 2 days and the doctor NEVER spoke to us afterwards. I was told I had internal bleeding and then left alone with my terrified thoughts!! Dom, was the only nurse who gave my information. Dr D didn't even talk to my husband in the waiting room, nothing. I still don't know what they did to stop the bleeding or a prognosis. He, Dr Dooda or something like that) (I don't even know his name) puts off the air that he's better than you. Very impersonal.. just can't be bothered by us patients!! Other than that--great hospital.

Sadly, St. Luke's fell short with patient care in the ER. I'm uncertain what changed, but I will…read morenot return to this location again! Basically, you're seen, treated for symptoms, prescribed meds and released. No thorough exams, in depth explanation of labs or professionalism! I brought my spouse on November 2. We returned on Monday and then again on Thursday the treatment was simply poor! Is the new goal to get you in and out so they can have beds for other patients? This location does not strive for patient excellence. DO NOT come here please. We ended up back at the ER Friday. Thankfully, we went to St. Luke's Lakeside in The Woodlands. They don't play around. Everyone was professional, labs, EKG, heart monitor! They were very thorough! As a matter of fact, the PA advised my spouse would be admitted due to the number of visits to the ER. I was more than satisfied! Admitted Friday, diagnosed Saturday and will be discharged today, Sunday! I'm definitely satisfied.
