Some of the more fit members can be somewhat demanding when using machines. wanting to use them immediately or taking multiple machines to compete a circuit without collaboration with others, which can be frustrating in a crowned gym. Or when the gym is empty and you are in a small corner. Why do you have to use the gym equipment or move your weight next to me. Speaking of cost. It is important to note that this is a yearly processing fee 49.99 in addition to the cost of your gym membership. Since this location only offers one class, the members are able to use other club 4 to utilize classes and saunas. While I initially thought I would use them, I found them to be further away and had a parking issues. I believe that it is not advisable to pay a higher membership fee when the equipment is not fully utilized. When cancelling your membership you must give 30 days notice So if you are a few days into the next month you will have two months to pay. I cancelled in March and the cancellation will take place n June.) I would have liked to have a reminder, I was told when I call to ask them about the fee, that it would be impossible for them to contact everyone. But I can get daily text reminders about promotions via text and email. Looking for a better fit.

When I came back and realized it was no longer there, I asked the employees if they had trashed it. An older employee stated that she did she was "cleaning up." Frustrated as I had been in the gym well over an hour with my water as well as there nearly every day for 4 months with the same bottle, I asked how much their bottles of water were since I now needed another. They said they had already shut the system down and refused to sell me one. After admitting to trashing mine 5 seconds earlier, you would think they would offer me a replacement bottle if not for free at least for purchase but no they refused and the older employee showed zero remorse etc for doing so. I like club4 and I prefer it over the other chains in the area that I'm aware of but when everything around is closed and you throw away my water because I left it in an open gym with cold water for literally less than 60 seconds and then refuse to even sell me a replacement. That is poor customer service. Maybe they need to close earlier or hire better employees. I will say that the younger employee was nicer and apologized even though she was not at fault, but it did not change the reality of the situation.

From the owner: CrossFit is the fastest growing and most effective fitness program out there. It is a GPP (general…read morephysical preparedness) program that can be used by a variety of people from the specialized athlete to elderly and de-conditioned people. The three main modalities most commonly found in CrossFit are metabolic conditioning (like running and rowing), gymnastics movements (like push-ups, pull-ups and muscle-ups), and weightlifting (like the clean and jerk, dead lift and the overhead squat). As a CrossFit affiliate, we are part of a community geared toward helping people become the fittest version of themselves. We offer group fitness classes, wherein each workout can be scaled or modified for the individual, depending on their fitness experience and capacity. Our arsenal of equipment includes pull up bars, gymnastics rings, kettle bells, plyo boxes, barbells and a host of other tools. We are serious about building a good foundational base on which to add strength, power and intensity. Whether you have always been athletic, or you have never been inside a gym of any kind, CrossFit can improve your quality of life. Our specialty in not specializing! The WOD (Workout of the Day) is different each day, which keeps the programming interesting and motivating. The training environment is encouraging and positive, which creates a great community of friends and a network of support both inside as well as outside of the gym.

Great location with ample parking (in shopping center)…read more I love the HIIT/circuit training concept. The instructor makes modifications, as needed, for people with joint issues or injuries. I really like the fact that the heart rate is monitored constantly, throughout the workout. THAT is where you find true calories burned. You are working for yourself, not comparing to others during the workout. This was my first visit, so I was loaned a MioHR pod/wrist strap. Not sure if it's something you have to purchase with a membership or not. Was informed that once you purchase a package/memberahip, the package can be used anywhere there is an Orangetheory Fitness (you just have to book online).

They constantly are coming up with fun themes and are open to feedback and playlist suggestions. They take time for each person at their level. They've helped me become as fit as I was back in college 30 years ago and I couldn't have done it without them. OrangeTheory keeps you inspired and injury-free, the two core risks I've seen with other programs. A separate comment- there is a review with one star from a year ago by Renea about a bad experience at the front desk with someone called Lisa. Not only have I never had an experience like that in 300 classes over two years, but I don't even know who Lisa is/was. The core four at the front are Blakeley, Kia, Brittany, and Benton. They are professional, experienced, and attentive. From new to seasoned, they treat everyone like family. In short, I love OTF Madison and encourage anyone at any level of fitness to try. Btw, the first class you may be sore for a few days and wonder what you were thinking. Give it six classes and most are on track to a new level of wellness. Good luck!
