Some fun cocktails! (I forget the names) They have a great selection to choose from though
    Isabelle S.

We love Starlite! We made reservations on OpenTable which made it easy for us to check in. I encourage having a reservation because on weekends they get pretty busy, and the wait can be long. They were welcoming, and got us seated quickly. Inside it's dimly lit, they're usually playing jazz or chill house music, and the seating feels cozy. We like going here for a classy cocktail night, or even an intimate date night to just sip and chat. Their food is good! A bit pricy for the size, but if you don't mind splurging a little then it's fine. The cocktails are definitely my favorite though!

The drinks and the view at Starlite are worth it. Vibey little lounge perfect for a date night.

20% service charge added to all checks. 4/5: Cable Car Redux $22. The glass is completely coated with cinnamon, and they pour CO2 fog into the glass. Quite a presentation. But it's too sweet. I poured about 1/2 oz of water into the drink and it was better. Don Q 7, Mommenpop blood orange liqueur, lemon juice, chinese 5 spice, gold and cinnamon sugar spice rim, karl the fog. 4/5: Tulip martini $16. It's served in a super-unique cocktail glass. It's too dry. I added 1/4 oz of maple syrup (I bring a tiny jar with me at all times) and it was much improved. Strawberry infused gin, Manzanilla sherry, Mommenpop lime liqueur, cocchi Americano Rosa. 4/5: The glazed donut $8 was quite good. The bartender Ramon was great.

Been a while since I visited Starlite, but I came here for a round of drinks to celebrate a friend's birthday. I liked the overall ambience of the interior. It's got a classy/dark vibe, and the drinks are solid although a bit on the pricey end for SF. I'm not a huge fan of the location, but it is what it is, and if you like hanging in Union Square, then this is the spot for you.

One of the most stunning views from a bar in SF! This is located at the top of the Beacon Grand Hotel, and it was full of people on a Friday night. I just walked in and they let us wait and roam the lounge while we waited ~20 min for a seat to open up. But boy was it worth it. When we sat down, we got to watch the sun set and it was lovely. The drinks on their menu are pretty interesting too! We got an espresso martini and cable car redux (eith the salted cinnamon sugar rim, rum, and a touch of fog coming from its interior!). Both drinks were strong and bold, and we enjoyed them. Service was rather slow but they were indeed super busy. Would love to stop by again.

What we ordered: * strawberry grasshopper * cider * fries [Taste: ] * hard to discern because the drinks are always a bit inconsistent, for example for my drink tastes different than my friend's (although we ordered the same thing). Good beer selection. I would say the cocktails are good & pretty standard but could be better for an upscale establishment. Bar food was pleasantly surprising! [Service: ] Nice staff every time I go! Didn't appreciate that they asked us for our credit card beforehand but nobody else around us... [Comments: ] An ambiance you cannot pass up. Love going in the winter for the cozy views of union square. [Bathroom: ] good

Starlite Lounge is such a great spot and absolutely worth coming to. Huge thank you to Ramon and Matt who were amazing bartenders and made our Sunday evening even better. They were friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome from the start. I really appreciated that they asked about our allergies and also took the time to ask what flavors we enjoy, which made the experience feel thoughtful and personal. The espresso martini was incredible and easily one of the best I have had in SF. The service was excellent and the vibe was fun and relaxed. Ramon recommend to order a Cable Car Redux next and wow, the presentation alone was a show, and the drink itself was just as amazing. If you are looking for a place with great drinks and great people, this is it. I will absolutely be back.

First time here what used to be Harry Denton's Starlight Room and what a transformation from the red interior to the green color walls. Came here with a colleague as he was giving a presentation to the management team. We decided to check out the Starlight Lounge since the view was gorgeous from where we were seated. Light bites to get us started from Lori who was our server. Overall a solid four stars but felt the presentation could have been nicer with the Smash Burger

    Patrick M.

Such a neat 21st floor rooftop bar! Service was warm and helpful, and both my negroni was delicious and cold and I appreciate the attention to detail. I came solo for their monthly free drag show, which was a special Sunday, taking in the 5 PM sunset along with the drag show. The space is high-end and upscale but very welcoming too. Hard to find a better view in downtown SF. The drinks were pricey but nothing over the top at the same time.

Coming from someone who doesn't drink, Starlite is one of my favorite bars in SF. This would be my go-to spot to bring someone who's visiting town. NA drinks: Their non-alcoholic drink menu is actually had interesting drinks, not just mocktails that taste like juice. Their Autumn drink caught my eye because it included five spice syrup and white miso. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked, and the drink itself was very florally and fragrant. Food: their smashburger was solid. Other food was great too! This bar was on top of the the Beacon Grand Hotel which had 360 views of the city! Service was great.

My #1 favorite indoor rooftop bar in SF! I came here specifically for a spot at the bar and enjoy their delicious cocktails. And after each visit, it keeps getting better and better. The ambience is a mix between classic and modern, beautiful decorated bar section, beautiful SF city view at night, it is a whole vibe and so unique that you cannot find anywhere else. I met different bartenders during different visit and each of them is unique and talented in their own way! My all time favorite is Porn Star Martini but after my last visit, Espresso Martini kinda grow on me, but regardless, as a Vodka girlie - Starlite made amazing Vodka based cocktail and I'm all here for it!

    Nuran S.

Starlite was so aesthetically pleasing! Every little detail here is thought out and meticulous. To me, this is what SF glam is all about. The decor is absolutely stunning but the food and drinks matched too. Staff was very helpful with picking out drinks and made our experience that much better! We were relaxed and ready for girls night the second we stepped inside this timeless ambiance! I almost cried when I saw they had a drink called BAGHDAD BY THE BAY. the comparison to one of the most revered historical cities on earth and the city I was born in made me feel so happy I had to order the drink... I was not disappointed, not only was it stunning and garnished with a rose but it was also delicious and complex! I'll be back starling, you stay glamorous!

Love it here. At first I was not thinking of coming back because of the wait BUT I was roaming around the city still and got the notification when I was about to head back home. Thank god I did! Great vibes and drinks. When we went up, the hostess recognized us and said she was glad we made it after the wait! It was poppin in there. People were having a blast. We had Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey playing in the back. We got a complimentary drink for coming back after the wait. Going in the bathroom, super clean and beautiful! Thought their toilet paper was hard to work with (maybe I was a bit intoxicated tho). 7/10 pornstar margarita! Why'd I forget I don't really like champagne? Still delicious though! 8/10 strawberry (I forgot the rest). Supperrr refreshing. The mix of mint and strawberry made it so refreshing! We got the view of union square there too! I would love to come back to try the food and different drinks.

    Great views!

I was craving a refreshing craft cocktail and got one with the Green Emmanuelle. I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

It takes a lot for me to consider a return visit to a cocktail bar. Most of the time, I just begrudgingly go along with my friends to a mediocre bar, but Blind Pig is a place I would enthusiastically return to again and again. I first got the namesake cocktail: Blind Pig. It was incredibly well-balanced, and the flame presentation upon arrival was an epic mini show. Later during last call, I decided to risk it all and roll the dice to order from the secret menu. I rolled a 5, which got me a wine & Japanese beer concoction with Sichuan peppercorn. Totally feel like this cocktail was made for me, as I rep the 川渝 region. The drink was strong, but that made it all the better. Can't wait to come again and explore more of the menu behind the password-protected iykyk entrance.

D R I N K S * Hot & Sour: Tanqueray Gin w/ Iichiko shochu, aloe, rose, hot pot paste, basil, citrus, peychaud's ($18 x2) The sichuan hot pot inspired cocktail was silky smooth from the milk-washed gin, nicely balanced - sweet (but not too sweet) and sour with a subtle málà numbing spice. Stiff yet easy to drink. The manager/bartender, Leo was awesome with great hospitality. Background lounge-y music is not too loud so you can yap and catch-up with friends. Seeing that it was named one of the top 50 best bars in North American, we had to check it out! We came in a Thursday night in mid-April about 9:45 PM. They have security outside thar checks IDs & also manages the queue in case the bar gets too crowded. We had no issues getting in, but there were zero indoor seats available - both the bar & table seating. Thankfully, they have a really cozy & well-lit patio area. The waitress let us know that even the outdoor patio has table-side service, so we made ourselves comfortable on the outdoor bench & within seconds she had brought us waters & cocktail menus. Weather outside was really nice, so I'm glad we actually sat outside. Each cocktail is $20, which definitely is a little steep, but I think the creativity, quality, & prestige of being named a top 50 bar supports the price. Each part of the menu is organized by liquor ie whiskey, vodka, brandy, gin, etc. We tried 4 drinks total. I only took menu photos of the pages we ordered from but they have a lot more selections. We ordered the Kung Fu Pandan, Silky Street, Rice Rice Baby, & Tropical Gangsta. We had some favorites over others, but all were very well crafted! The drinks came out pretty quickly considering how busy it was. The only hiccup was our final drink took quite a while. Turns out the ticket machine malfunctioned & deleted orders put in & caused a back-up. The waitress was so apologetic & ended up comp-ing 2 drinks, which she definitely didn't have to but it speaks volumes to the high standards they hold themselves to & their customer service. Overall, highly highly recommend checking this place out for a fun night out or post-dinner treat! Glad we made the decision to stop in!

Once it was 11pm, the bouncer started to let everybody in, so I'm guessing they only let people inside every 30 minutes to prevent overcrowding, even though once we got in it wasn't that crowded and there was plenty of open space outside too. Having to wait only gave us about an hour inside. It says they close at 12am and that is exactly when they close--you can't stay any longer than that. I'm used to bars typically staying open about 30 minutes to an hour after the listed closing time to allow customers inside to finish up. As soon as 12am hits, the bouncer starts going around and constantly telling you to hurry it up because they are closed now. The service was also pretty slow, which did not give us much time at all to sip and enjoy the drinks before they closed. We started off ordering two drinks, then our waiter came back about 10 minutes later and asked for last call so we ordered another one (this was before our two drinks even came out yet). After about 15 minutes, we got all three drinks and the waiter apologized and said he didn't charge us for the third drink since it took so long. This gave us only about 10-15 minutes to finish our drinks before we started to get told we had to leave. At least my drink (apple bottom beets) was good and I was able to chug it, but I would rather be able to take my time and enjoy a drink. Their menu is huge, and they have a wide selection of different cocktails categorized under which type of liquor is used (rum, agave, brandy). The ambiance is dark and romantic.
