I summoned John to my house a couple months ago to replace a non-functional fluorescent bulb in my closet with an LED light, and to run an outlet to my newly installed heatless water tank. He came with his son and another worker (sorry for forgetting your name, man), and they did both jobs in a reasonable amount of time for a fine cost, with plenty of kindness and pleasantries. While doing this work John pointed out that my electrical panel was full of corrosion - probably from when my nearby garden hose line burst and flooded the panel. Whoops... Cue John coming back a couple months later with 4 dudes a to completely replace my electrical service. We went from a 150 amp breaker to a 200 amp and he installed an emergency shutoff outside by my meter. He took great care to make sure everything in the breaker was labeled appropriately and to walk me through how to use everything. John is a good communicator who follows through on what he says he is going to do. He is a nice guy to boot! When my dog took a piss right on his toolbox, he didn't make me feel bad about it. Sorry, John! I would recommend him to anyone in the area that needs electrical work done.

I had one person on Nextdoor app recommend Ray and we figured we could at least get a quote. We had been searching high and low for someone to put stone on our pillars. We had companies tell us they couldnt use our existing stone material, that we would have to redo our existing steps completely, or had quotes for over $20k. We didnt trust anyone anymore because of our experience with a past contractor (who bought the supplies but never did the work) and took us 6 months to find the right person. None of the contractors were providing a breakdown of their costs and their materials so we could see exactly what we were paying for, and we felt that they were just throwing large numbers at us because "that's what it costs to remodel a bathroom." I was lucky to hear about Beltz Pro Remodeling through a referral from a tiling contractor that had previously done work for us at our previous home. After reaching out to Jim and meeting with him to discuss the project, I could tell right away that he was very knowledgeable about construction and renovation work and had a lot of experience. Not only was he straightforward and professional from the start, but he's also a genuinely nice person and I found it very easy to work with him throughout the entire project. He was very timely in getting the project estimate to me, and I was very impressed how he had the estimate broken out into labor and material costs for every phase of the project. Most importantly, he was the only contractor that said the words "I want this job" when following up on his estimate, which was extremely important because that told me that Jim was the kind of contractor that treated every job and customer equally, regardless of the scope of work or cost of the project.
