And LVMHP is not only the one of the nicest parks, but was the cheapest insofar as lot rent is concerned (though, not a lot of amenities; no problem for me). Since May 2005, the park has had only 3 Park Managers (1st one retired in 2006; 2nd one just recently replaced when the new owners (2nd one) took over several months back). So, compared to other places, this place has a very low turnover, in both management and tenants. And, its a fantastic location (provided you don't mind being close to Luke AFB, where not only do you hear the jets (in my book, that's the sound of freedom), one hears the bugle calls. 8-) as one has small town living, with big city access. And, today, I hardly ever have to go East of 91st Ave. Or, South of the I-10 Freeway. Now, before moving in, the manager at that time, told me that they hadn't had a rate increase in 10 years. Pretty darn cool, right? Well, needless to say, he was a lying SoB! Just 4 months later, we (all residents) got a $10.00/month lots rent increase. And, except for 2008, it went up $10.00-$15.00/month every year. While it may not seem like much, multiply that by the number of years, and it adds up to a lot, quite quickly. A bit saddened by this, as I could have owned my own lot 5 years ago. But, because of my Aunt's requirements, owning the lot was not meant to be. But luckily, the pros outweigh the cons. Thus, the reasoning of a 5 Star rating. The managers (husband & wife team) for most of my residency, took great care of the park. But, could be selective when it came to enforcing the rules equally. However, since I hardly had any issues with them, I didn't mind it. The new owners have been very proactive in fixing up the clubhouse (unusable for 8 years, or so; soon to have a fitness room, too), swimming pool and the grounds. They also have their own crew (roofers, painters, handyman, etc) that can save tenants some serious dollars. I got my double-wide exterior repainted for only $500.00! A fantastic price, as my regular handyman was $1k + paint & materials. Though, it may take time to get it done because they are quite busy. While most residents are long term, there are a few rentals. But, over all, the park, and considering it's a family park, is fairly quiet (F16s and F35s not withstanding; and during Luke Days, the Thunderbirds fly overhead, about 200 feet off the deck). Crime is almost nonexistent. Any serious crime is 0. Though, there has been some petty theft of tools (you leave it out, that's pushing temptation, and your fault imo), and holiday lawn ornaments :-( reported by 2 or 3 residents). Overall, a very nice place to put your Manufactured Home (one note that ticks me off, the P.O. shows all resident addresses as Trlr (they don't know the definition of a Trailer. And, all double-widespread are 1,200 to 2,400 sqft. And, that ain't no trailer!). Luckily, your address label can be whatever you want it to be. Of course, and remember this, any MHP is a land-lease deal. You will never own the lot. So, if you want to own the land, be sure that you get into a community where you can.

In recent years…read morethe property has come under new management, Needless to say the improvements that have been made to the overall neighborhood are absolutely outstanding. She regularly attends the community art classes with many of her senior friends. Or she can often be found relaxing at the resort like pool next-door to the clubhouse. I feel confident in my mothers safety now that she is living in a gated Community with many wonderful neighbors.

This business complex is not a good neighbor to the homes that back up to it.They have trees…read moreplanted along the wall separating their lot from our backyards. Those trees constantly drop leaves and bean pods into our yards. For the homes with pools, like mine, it's a major problem. The debris clogs filters and equipment. I've had to replace my pool pump motor 3 times in 7 years because of the mess. On top of that, their security lights shine directly into bedroom windows at night, disrupting sleep. A little consideration for the surrounding neighborhood would go a long way. Right now, this complex shows zero respect for the residents who have to live next to it.

Just found out that she is NOT licensed to practice psychological services; I searched the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners after being informed by the Deputy Director Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners. First off, she was late. I had to wait outside in the heat for her and she did not bother to call. She said she had a professional emergency call but really, she just needed to pick up her son. She spent the majority of the time taking about herself and her issues: she was a drug addict (her 1st husband got her addicted & she is still fighting him in court) which is the reason her second husband left her - but the church is trying to convince him not to divorce her. She is having severe financial problems (which is why she kept pushing me to come in earlier than I wanted to) & a tough time taking care of her children solo. She has an open Worker's Comp case that has been going one for years; very few friends & she is hoping her husband doesn't divorce her because he is a good man. I write this because I should not know details of her personal life; it's grossly inappropriate & not therapeutic. I sat there and listened to her babble about her issues & was surprised that she had not even read the information I submitted online about the crises that I am facing & why I needed help. She was disinterested in what I was saying and was more focused on herself and then on my son. She even offered for us to come over her house so she can watch my son and I can "rest." It sounded nice on the surface but her offer was completely unprofessional and counselors need to have appropriate boundaries. This was a warning in the article. She also texted me incessantly & when I let her know that I need to pause because I only had funds to left to pay for my son's formula, she called & told me to ask a church to get the money to pay her. I am disabled with a painful condition that limits my mobility and daily activities and it takes a lot to get out of the house, especially with my infant. This did not matter to her; she kept pushing me to come saying I needed to see her immediately. I told her that I needed time to get home health care & child care setup so I can focus on counseling (I was distracted the first session but she insisted that I bring my infant) and I would follow up with her the next week. She did not wait for me to call her but texted early morning wanting me to come (so she could bill me although I had already explained to her the situation) & when I told her I could not she told me that: she is running a business, cancelling the contract, & billing me for early cancellation and not showing without giving 48 hour notice - $300! She was also texting me with terms of endearment and acting like we were best friends. Remember, I only met her once. Red flags were everywhere and I thought her behavior was strange when I met in person; something& was off. I usually give people the benefit of doubt and thought I would at least try another session once I got childcare, someone to drive me, and the finances. Also, she also asked me to write a review for her the next day after the first session! Why would I write a review when no progress was made? So, here is the review she requested: In my opinion, April Tanner is a con artist that misrepresented many things (including her credentials) and preys on people when they are in a vulnerable state. I did not sign her financial consent forms & instead of allowing me time to get things in order so counseling could be a success; she wanted to manipulate me into doing things that I was not comfortable with. Trust your instinct; if a mental health professional is unprofessional, requires you to sign contracts (I've done counseling many times in my life and not one required me to sign something with cancellation fees because sometimes you don't gel well with the counselor - but you pay for each session as you go), contacts you constantly in inappropriate manner, and tries to forge a personal relationship with you - RUN!! Find someone else because they are not concerned with your best interest and will do more damage if you share personal things with them. She is hard up for money & will do anything to get you to pay her. I wasted $150 to listen to her talk about herself and then she wanted me to pay her $300 because I needed to schedule our second session when I could have help to get there - she is certainly a predator & hiding behind the Christian title. Wolf in sheep's clothing. Beware & read up on narcissist counselors before you go to one. She needs counseling and not to use her clients to get her needs met for attention, friendship, and manipulating to get more money. I should have followed my gut & not gone to the session. UPDATE: She has threatened to sue for this review.

We recently had Carson Homes (Adam Carson) do a complete remodel of our master bathroom which…read moreincluded adding on an 18x6 addition as a new master closet. Adam was easy and great to work with throughout the entire process and gave us an excellent price for the job. Adam did all the construction himself and did it with great attention to detail. The walls and ceiling in the addition were perfectly square and all wall measurements were perfect. All materials selected by Adam were of high quality. The outside of the addition is stucco with a tile roof and painted to match the existing house. The addition looks like it's been a part of the house for years. We were happy with most of the subcontractors that were used. There were some issues with the plumbing contractor, but Adam followed up and the issues were worked out in a timely manner. Adam also did all the interior trim work, door installs, painting and tile work in the shower and around the new tub and all the work was outstanding. Everything turned out perfect and we couldn't be happier. Adam is an excellent tile installer. We highly recommend Carson Homes (Adam Carson) for all residential building or remodeling projects and we happily give him 5 stars!
