I love the hometown service that you receive at Firstbank of Lumberton. The big banks treat you as…read morea number and say they are going to do this and that BUt, they have to get approval up top. That is where you are no more than a number!!! They do not take into account that you have a personal tie to the community and are a Lumbertonian. I want to say in my younger days the local mentality changed and the bigger banks no longer made decisions and i needed help. Mike Hardin look a chance on me at another bank but got me the loan i needed. He left that branch because they didn't value the local connections of community so he went to First Bank. i always said when i got my house in order, i was going back to Mike at First Bank ( the local community bank ) and i moved everything i had to Mike at First Bank. This was at least 15 years ago. Then Mike retired and i became apprehensive but Debbie took over and has carried on the HOME TOWN service of community!!! i highly encourage you to do business with the bank that values you as a person of the community not a number!!!! The community bank is still ALIVE!!!

Wells Fargo has been allowing ACH transactions to synchrony bank who is actually the Ukrainian national Federal bank and took me for $1240. Wells Fargo will do nothing to help me. This was an original Harbor freight credit card that I've never charged a single thing on and never even received the credit card but because my name is on it apparently Wells Fargo has never heard of identity theft they seem to think it's OK. They can't have a single manager. Call me back on the phone Not their legal department or anybody else. I have to file a lawsuit to get my money back synchrony bank wants my entire Social Security number. When I call them on the phone they have no physical address. This is such a scam. It's unbelievable and Wells Fargo has nothing to say outside of The people they hire reading a script if I were you, I would find a much better bank. Wells Fargo is horrible.

And Wells Fargo didn't release the funds. So I could buy another car. The manager told me close my account yesterday.
