I got to where when I'd call I'd say "You'll send Tip Top for me, won't you?" and they would. During the icy Christmas weekend, I got stuck and again AAA called Tip Top for me. This time it took a little longer than usual (an hour), but they had me out in about 3 minutes. I'm sure I wasn't the only person having car issues that day so an hour isn't bad considering I was 15 minutes away from Warrensburg anyway. He quickly let us know that the clutch had gone out and gave a quote for repair and agreed to keep us informed if he found anything else. Turns out the fly wheel was also fried. He informed us of the additional cost so we could decided what we wanted to do. We compared pricing with our local shop and Kit was actually less expensive. We agreed to the repairs and had the work completed in less than a week. Kit's open communication and agreeable attitude made this a great experience, even if a costly one. I took my transmission to B&B to have them rebuild it. They were more expensive, by $600 than the…read moreother shop I called, but I went with them. The other shop had one week turnaround time. B&B was not as fast but once I installed the transmission they had rebuilt I would not shift gears past 2nd. I called them right away, took the car to them and they first said it was my fault, next they said it was my cars fault that my car doesn't shift. I had to ask them what was going on with my car and they said that it was the cars fault that I could take my car. They didn't even have the decency to call me to say come get my broken car. So took car to a mechanic shop down the street. after 2 months they said that the car was running perfectly as it relates to the transmission so returned car to B@B transmission in Sedalia, MO. and it has sat there for three weeks and they havent touched it. At this point I haven"t had my car for about 5 months. I had to but a cheep car and then had to pay to have it fixed. I went buy there shop to see what was going on and they yelled at me saying I didn't need to come to them with an attitude when all I told them was that I haven't had my car for 5 months and that I was moving to another country in three weeks with my car. In three weeks It will be about 6 months that I haven't been able to use my car and I do not believe that they will try to fix their work in the next 3 weeks. So take what you will from this but I wish to God, I had taken the owner up on his offer to take the disassembled parts from my transmission home with me and he would give my money back, when I went to pick it up and it wasn't ready. I am from the house of Washington and I don't lie.
