At about 11:30, my wife and I were in a local store and we engaged in conversation with a young lady about our project. She asked us who we were using and I said "Levi Elliott." She proceeded to describe to me in detail that he had defrauded her friend and her husband out of more than $10,000.00. I confronted Levi about this and he absolutely came unglued on me, which almost resulted in a physical confrontation. He admitted that he took their money, but claimed that this elderly couple stole his tools. I knew right then and there he was a scammer. I fired him on the spot. No work was completed. I asked him for the keys to the house and he refused to give them to me. He said he'd give them to me if I gave him $150.00, which I knew was extortion. To avoid any further conflict, and to get him off my property, I gave him the $150.00. This man (if he even qualifies as one) is a scammer and a total crook. He needs to be prosecuted and put in prison where he belongs.
