This hospital is the worst hospital my father was there since Tuesday 7/7/26 and told he has blood in his lungs he came in not being able to breath properly and chest pain and they still made him wait in the waiting room can you imagine!! An elderly man complaining about breathing and chest pain and was told to go outside and wait then my daughter who is a vascular ultrasound tech went and asks if certain testing was done on him since she does testing on patients with symptoms like my dad and they said they don't do that tests on inpatients anyway I can go and on but it's too much to write they discharged him without the proper testing he was being seen by medical students who care more about how they look in scrubs and their title than they do their patients and let's not start with them also telling my daughter that he's being discharged basically he's overstayed due to his insurance are you kidding me so you send my dad home because of insurance gtfoh!!! This hospital sucks!! Do not go to this hospital!! There are no real doctors just young medical students who don't give a crap about the patients! They're just there for the paycheck!!! Ans title!! Go to Seaview!! Much better or Jacobi!!!!

It was a rather interesting breathing test. It was nothing that challenging. It was actually fun to do. Wai Ki was very pleasant and knowledgeable in her area of expertise. She studied her profession at Stoney Brook in Long Island and loves what she does. You can tell. I was late to the appointment due to going to the wrong site. They have a hospital on the North on Seaview. I went there and realized, NOPE. Went to Seguine, south side and the girls at the desk were kind enough to check if the department would squeeze me in, and they did. I was very grateful. I explained that I had anxiety issues and that was the cause for the mix up. They were very understanding and go me in. Fun test, and happy with results. As a 30 year smoker, damage was minimal. I was very happy to hear. Overall, in and out...and a good experience with a wonderful Tech. Thank you Wai Ki!!

I am a big fan of NYU and this location met and exceeded my expectations, The entire experience was excellent. Front Desk Staff The 3rd floor front desk staff was friendly, and efficient during the check in process. I went out to get a coffee and one of the staff actually asked me my name and said that the medical team had called me so I can sit with my boyfriend while he waited to be taken into surgery. She then went back to check and escorted me to where my boyfriend was. This was not her job and was much appreciated. Surgical Team Everyone was so helpful and kind and greeted me with a smile including the surgical nurse, and other staff. Dr. Jacobs was outstanding! They took their time explaining the what to expect and every detail of the consent forms. Sometimes medical staff can be curt or in a rush but I did not experience that here. I would highly recommend this ambulatory care center.

Honestly, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else…read more I used to come here before it became The Home Depot Emergency Center, and it was actually fantastic. Quick, organized, reliable. Whatever happened deserves its own documentary because this place is now giving portal to purgatory. My husband and I came in on a Wednesday because of a foot injury. All he needed was an X ray and someone to look at it. We spent FIVE HOURS there, and the only medical treatment he received was having his vitals taken. They brought us to the back to wait for a doctor and then seemingly deleted us from the system. Three different nurses came over at different times, asked for his name, called him by the wrong name, and then asked, "Why are you still here? We haven't seen you?" FUN FACT... I'm wondering the same thing. WHY ARE WE STILL HERE?! After about three hours of this fever dream, they moved us to the "FastTrack" area, which I can only assume was named as a joke. We then sat there for another TWO HOURS while everyone collectively forgot we existed. Again. Meanwhile, two nurses were openly talking about how badly they wanted to go home. At that point we looked at each other and said, "You know what? We don't want to be here either, girl," and walked out. Now here's where it somehow gets even better. TWO HOURS AFTER WE LEFT, they called us to ask if we were still there. I'm sorry... what? At that point I wasn't sure whether to laugh or congratulate everyone involved on creating the most immersive escape room experience in New York. Honestly, you're probably better off going to CityMD, MedRite, or asking the guy at your local bodega for a second opinion. At least someone will acknowledge your existence. I'm genuinely convinced this place is run by NYU's psychology department as a social experiment to see how much absurdity people will tolerate before they completely lose it. I wish I were kidding.

They have a large parking lot that seems to fill up so although I lucked up and was able to get a good spot, I can see at times it may not be as easy to do so. The security guard at the entrance of the hospital was so pleasant yet thorough. I wish I would've gotten his name because he was just that good and deserves kudos (middle aged tall brown skinned man) . He spoke to everyone who entered, walked them through the process for entry, re-checked numerous bags and did all with a smile. The hiring event was towards the back of the main floor and was very organized. The Penn Med staff hosting the event were all very friendly and informative and I was able to make a few key connections I can work with and hopefully build a partnership with for the sake of employing Medical Assisting graduates .

Now my arm is black and blue because clearly the needle pierced through my veins and muscle. Horrible experience. He then put it in the next arm and the same thing happened. The African American woman who is the receptionist sat chewing and cracking gum so loudly. Sloppy way to greet people. Unfortunately, the manager, who overhead someone scream her name across the room as Annie, was much to be desired. She was so nasty and rude to not only the people but those who worked there too. She came across as angry, unfriendly, and dismissive. It was especially uncomfortable for me, witnessing a manager down-talk her staff in front of others, which was embarrassing and unprofessional. No employee should be spoken to that way, especially in front of patients and families. It created a tense and negative atmosphere during our visit. It's truly a shame because the facility itself seems capable of providing good care. With more respectful and compassionate leadership, the overall patient experience could be much better.
