They've also come to appreciate that this is pretty much the only bar in town that serves decent shots and other things I will drinks for decent prices. And what I've really come to appreciate is the amazing, friendly staff who come out here on their nights off for some drinks with their friends and who are starting to recognise me and my order, I always love that kind of stuff! With her near perfect English she worked with us in selecting the right beer for each of us, and even gave us some free tastes...that would never happen in France! I think there were around 30 or so taps, so there is something for every beer lover. Maybe a bit more cheese next time would be appreciated. My girlfriend ordered a good old burger and did not disappoint at all. One of my friends is a vegetarian and sadly, they were out of the veggie burger! We were very happy when they put together an improvised and delicious salad for her. Great service, great attitude, great food & great beer. All you need for an evening out with friends. Also, when you go to the bathroom don't forget to check out the Beer Wall! This one we had inadvertently passed by the day before without knowing that it was there while on our way to the Anne Frank house. This café was in the heart of the city, and we sat outside and enjoyed the bustling environment and the company of some local personalities. Would I go back, yes.
