Been coming here for a few years now, new owners took over a couple of years ago and made a great business out of it. Food is good quality pub food of excellent value and good sized portions. You won't leave hungry! Only complaint is the bar area is not very inviting to non locals even after the refurb. read more

Popped in for a bit of dinner on Sunday. The place was full to bursting but we managed to get a table around 7pm. Would recommend booking ahead as there isn't much space - I hear that the conservatory that used to be used for seating is no longer available. We were sitting in the bar anyway, which was a busy traffic area but not so noisy it was disruptive. The menu is pretty long and varied for pub grub and I was sceptical about the quality of such a range of dishes, but everything was tasty. The portions were huge and the serving staff's recommendation of the rib eye went down a treat. All the staff were friendly and although it seemed a bit chaotic on the surface our food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Was delighted to see local craft ale on the taps too from Cromarty Brewery Co. Overall great value for the money, good service with a smile and well worth a visit. Only complaint is the cramped surroundings, but looking forward to coming back to check out the beer garden next time! read more

What an unexpected treat. Just stopped here spontaneously on the way back from Cromarty and had one of the best Thai green curries I've ever tasted thanks Chef. Also the soup to start was great. Comfortable, stylish place too. Could definitely recommend it. read more

As other reviewers have stated the best bit about the Station is the beer garden. The food is typical pub food - OK and served in the conservatory which gets very hot in summer. There is often live music at the weekends but watch out I've been in twice at night when there has been a fight. read more

Super cute accommodations with a private bathroom and friendly staff. Be forewarned you must climb steeps steps to the rooms. Not the place to stay for individuals with disabilities. read more

Found this gem on the way back from Cromarty and Rosemarkie, just too hungry to drive any further luckily! The tatties and onion soup warmed me up, much needed. It was perfectly made with big chunks of onions, very tasty. the chicken stroganov was to die for, as was the thai green curry (acc. to my husband), the waitress was very attentive and friendly. I can imagine how lovely the beer garden must be on a warm summer night. Prices very reasonable. Will surely come back when in the area! read more

The Station Hotel has been under new management since Feb 2011. The new owners have done a great job in developing the business to where it is now. We are 'local' and go about once a month, the food is good quality pub food and I can guarantee you won't come out hungry. My only criticism would be the over provision of chips. read more

Lovely pub. Love it, when I'm allowed out.
