You'd think a business would have a keener sense of the supply and demand curve, but I guess they do well with their stable clientele of alcoholics who arrive clearly intoxicated and pay with fistfuls of pennies. I suggest walking an extra few blocks in a different direction and go to the Strath Ale Merchants, Cook St. Liquor or even Liquor Express.

Nowadays, I pop in when I'm at the MOY since it's right next door. The staff have been nothing but pleasant every time I visit, despite the crackheads and drunks they deal with on a daily basis. If it's slow they'll usually get a little more chatty about weird stuff they see and experience. I've seen them be pretty cold to people who act obnoxious on Friday or Saturday nights. They have a great selection of local craft beer and their prices are in line with the Swans or Rialto liquor stores.
