The downside is you can never really tell what's going to be in there, as they change their stock a lot.

They also have a good range of sweets and that is definitely popular with the local school children who can be seen picking out a selection of the sort of sweets that used to cost one penny each but are a bit dearer now. The shop also has a good display of greetings card. You can pay to top up your electric key here and pay for other utilities. I always find the window the most interesting part of the shop as it carries postcards and posters with information of local clubs and activities, items for sale and small businesses, builders decorators and that type of thing. They do sometimes have some 'stocking filler' type products though that I havent seen elsewhere. There is a big till area near the entrance which has always seemed too big for the one cashier I have always seen here when I visit midweek but I guess its useful when the store gets busy and there are more staff working. There is no parking immediately outside but you can park across the road or at the car park which is just down the road from the shop. This could be a disadvantage if you are buying something really big, I'm not sure if they will deliver large items. It is nice to have a quality toy shop in town.
