I live in north of the Events Center, and have had their service for 6 months. In that time, they've missed service twice. The first time was entirely their fault, and the second was because the city had blocked the road from one side while doing roadwork. With a larger company I probably would have received notice and/or they would have attempted the following day (I left my cans out an additional day just in case), but that wasn't the case with RR. I called them after the first missed service. They were appropriately apologetic and sent a truck out to pick up my trash the next day. Since I had room in my cans, I didn't bother calling in after the second miss. Ultimately, I understand other people's grievances against RR. I'm just a homeowner with a little trash that I want handled each week, and I was looking to save a few bucks each month. If you're looking to save a little money, are willing to put up with slightly less consistent service, and want to support a smaller local business, you can't go wrong with Royal Refuse.
