We had saved this place on our list of restaurants we wanted to visit during our visit in Sardinia…read moreand it was definitely the best choice. It even turned out that they were located second street from our hotel :) This restaurant as many other in Sardinia operates from 12pm-3pm and then opens again 7:30 pm to like 11pm and is super busy. We had a chance to catch a table first time for lunch without reservation but for dinner you definitely need one. The whole staff of people running the place is super nice and friendly and our server was great! The menu is simple, not overwhelming and the wine is incredible. Octopus--very tender with braised fennel and lemon gel was a fantastic starter. Ceviche--it was a deconstruction of typical way of serving ceviche with scallops, calamari, avocado puree-very refreshing and scallops were incredibly tender. Beef tartar--served with seaweed, sweet sauce and crisp. Something towards asian flavors. The meat was very tender and you can judge it but quality. Black pasta with seafood--my wife voted this one as the best one she had during our vacation in spain and Italy and she had quite a few :) Gnocchi with lamb ragu--this one was a flavor burst enriched with deep flavor of lamb ragu, perfect dinner choice. Ravioli (Culurgiones)--this was the best dish for us, we had it two times at our visits. Filled with potatoes which is very common choice for filling in Sardinia. Served with rich sauce, octopus tentacles and pistachios. Absolutely brilliant. Pairs with Vermentino wine like no other :) Desert--coconut cream panna cota --rich and creamy served with nectarine was delicious however I would break the flavor with something more acidic and citrusy for a better balance. We had visit few more places for food in Olbia but the vote stays for Piperita PAtty as number ONE for us. This place is a must go when you are in the city and I assure you will not be disappointed :)

All nicely prepared. They have gluten-free options too. Some of the wait staff speak English, so the service is geared to tourists. Be sure to order the local aperitif, Mirto. Delicious!

A must try if you're visiting Sardegna! All inclusive dinner and wine for 60 Euros about $65 USD…read more 5 star experience: You're going mostly for the experience and views of the island coasts. You'll see a charcuterie board on steroids when you enter the premises which is a part of the meal and includes an unlimited buffet of cured pork, various cheeses, and wine before your main meal. Food: 3 different pasta dishes to follow once you're done stuffing yourself w the charcuterie buffet, and of course the porcedu (piglet) to finish. The pasta dishes were so so, considering they were very basic. Dessert was a piece of fruit and a local dessert called seiadas. Tips: 1. Get there right when they open at 7:30. Lots of dedicated parking but it did get full if you had a later reservation time. Also, if you're there at 7:30 the buffet area will be crowded and you will have to wait in line. 2. Come very hungry, I was freaking stuffed and had to limit the pasta intake to eat the porcedu at the end. 3. Don't wear tight dresses or pants 4. If you book in advance you can get the terrace area.
