It is however still an independent shoe retailer, which focusses on quality brand footwear built to last. It has a large glass front to the building which is always set out well showing some of the ranges from the brands stocked, such names as Gabor, Geox and Ecco are usually represented. When you enter there is a vast display of footwear for Men, Women & children - they have a very good fitting service with trained staff. They also stock high end bags and accessories and of course every type of shoe cream and potion imaginable. Together with this the service is fantastic, you are served promptly with a smile and the products are great.

The store itself is well presented, and the changing rooms are a good size, with plenty of space for you to move around in. The layout of the store is very good and there is plenty of space to manoeuvre, even if there are many people with pushchairs. They also have a good selection of shoes, although most of them are fashion shoes and wouldn't be suitable for most people's work.

I like loads of the shoes in here, and have bought some on many occasions, they seem to stock different shoes than elsewhere, which is good as I like shops who look for something different to interest customers. The guys who run the shop are really friendly and as its a small shop, they don't have much trouble seeing to everyone quickly and efficiently. The building itself is double fronted and both windows are usually well laid out, each in a colour co-ordinated style - stock permitting. The idea behind the shop is that it sells good quality hardly worn clothes on behalf of the clients. You need an appointment to take your items in, they are then looked at to decide if they are appropriate to sell and a price is agreed at. If sold the proprieter gets half. If they don't sell within a given time frame, you are then asked if they can go on the half price rail, again, you would get half the selling price. The stock is quite well laid out, there are two decent sized changing rooms and the stock is obviously always changing - you have to buy it whilst its there or live to possibly regret it. I have sometimes found that some of the stock is possibly past its best, though the prices are good and there are obviously bargains to be had. The store sells ladies and mens garments, shoes, bags, hats and accessories.

I have always found staff to be very friendly and helpful. The store is easily accessed and there is free disc parking behind the high street. Prices are reasonable and quality is good.
