I haven't been to a Steak 'n Shake in over 10 years so when my husband said "let's go to Steak 'n Shake for lunch" I was stoked! We went inside and a lot is different now, so you order on a kiosk and then when your order is ready someone calls your name and you come up to the front to get your food. There were 5 kiosks. When you get a drink, you get a separate QR code and you have to scan that to get your drink or to refill your drink. There are no servers but employees do come out to clean the tables. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and my son got the same but with onion rings. The cheeseburger was so good, tasted extremely fresh and I LOVE their French fries, they are so skinny and I love that. My son's onion rings were very good! Before we left I got two milkshakes to-go. I got a butterfinger and biscoff milkshake, both were so good! For 3 people to eat and milkshakes, I spent a little over $30 and I think the food was so good! I will definitely be back in the future! read more

It's been a while since I was last here so we thought it safe to order delivery from here. Nope. After researching online I found that back in 2020 they went to a more fast food model and it shows. No more baked beans, coleslaw and some other stuff. The order was sealed in a plastic bag which caused condensation that made everything soggy. The driver arrived pretty quick and yet everything was cold. I miss the old Steak n Shake from when I was a kid. read more

It was my first time trying Steak 'n Shake, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was compared to other fast food restaurants. I ordered the Western BBQ 'n Bacon Steakburger Combo with a Kit Kat mixed with Nutella MilkShake. Western BBQ 'n Bacon Steakburger was pretty good. The beef patty was warm, and had enough BBQ sauce. The bacon was nice and crispy. Overall, it was a pretty decent burger. The Kit Kat and Nutella Milkshake was delicious! The taste is exactly how you would expect a Kit Kat mixed with Nutella would taste like. Would definitely try their other milkshakes. Overall, I enjoyed my meal at Steak 'n Shake, and will definitely come back for my fast food cravings! read more

I am done with Steak'n Shake, sadly. I went thru the drive-thru and when I got home with the food I was missing my order of fries. I had the bacon cheeseburger (pic inclosed) and the bacon was not done plus the bun was soggy. I threw my food away. My wife ordered the chicken fingers and they were too dry (no flavor). I grew up on Steak'n Shake from over 60 years ago and loved them!!! Not now! Today they lost a customer. So sad. My wife did not eat all her chicken and the fries were not up to their standards so not all of the fries were eaten. Bye, bye Steak'n Shake...... read more

Begged them three times to NOT put anything else on the burger accept mayo. I drive home, they put tons of ketchup on it. Husband hates ketchup, and we tossed it. Horrible service. AVOID. CHECK YOUR ORDERS BEFORE DRIVING OFF. YOU MIGHT HAVE A BAD SURPRISE LIKE I HAD. read more

I give ZERO stars for this establishment. I came in for a late night meal around 11:30pm with my family on the way home from Daytona Speedway. Before my order could be placed, the lead staff member reminded me about their closing hours (12am.) Not only was I unable to get a milkshake, due to them closing, I placed an order for food. The cook went on to explain that they only had 3 people working the kitchen and still had to tend to people at the window before they could clean up for the night. However, I wasn't given enough time to eat after receiving my food.. Few minutes while I was eating, the staff member announced to the whole restaurant that they needed to lock the doors and then proceeded to ask all parties in restaurant to leave as well. This took place 7 mins before 12am. Not only was this a poor example of customer service, I am dissatisfied with my experience as I witnessed the staff demand that no milkshakes would be made since they closing. I cannot describe how disappointed in the rude behavior portrayed in front of a crowd of paying customers! This kind of behavior disgusts me as I myself have worked in customer service! That type of service is unacceptable! I will not be back! read more

We have never ate here before so we were excited to try it .You place your order off a kiosk & don't really talk to the workers until they deliver your food . The restaurant is really clean . The food came to us fast . We ordered a Frisco melt burger with tomato combo , When I got my hamburger it was missing the tomato . We also ordered a bacon cheese double burger . We ordered a cheese fry . The burgers are good & fresh . The cheese fries were not the best they are just covered with cheese sauce which is too strong & make the fries soggy . I would recommend this place for a good burger the prices are not bad . The service is fast & good . read more

The 4 meals, 4 items, 4 bucks is a great deal at this place... I wanted chili and one of the side items of your choice is dum dum dahhh... a cup of chili. The meal comes with fries and a cookie and then your 4th item. If you're hankerin' for a shake, but don't want the regular size, then get the "junior" size. It goes great with a meal, but since you get a cookie with the 4-4-4, I suggest adding the smaller shake. The Junior shakes are $2.29 or $2.99 for the speciality flavors. That's my two cents tonight... Oh and this particular place is VERY busy at night on weekends, so be patient... it is worth the wait. read more

Arrived at midnight after a long flight and needed food prior to hotel check in. There burgers are good and greasy! I got the garlic butter burger and it was soaking in garlic butter. They're sold out of literally almost everything the garlic burger is my favorite they haven't had that in WEEKS same as some other food items and shakes. half the time they don't even give us everything we asked for on our order! Drive thru Menu Has chili cheese fries as an option. Med or large. yet tonight when I tried to order some I was told I wasn't allowed to order if i wanted chilli cheese fries i had to order online and When I pointed out that it was on the DRIVE THRU menu I was told if I didn't like it to take it up with corporate? Whenever there is a Steak 'n Shake around - I am always down for it. When we were in Orlando, we got dinner here. They have the best milkshakes, hands down! I usually get the Nutella milkshake, it's delicious my favorite from here is the Frisco Melt steak burger, fries with a side of cheese dip. It's always so juicy, flavorful & so so good. Yeah, it's a Steak n Shake. It's my Guilty Pleasure restaurant. The food is uniformly good, although I prefer a larger style of fry- you get shoestring here. The chili, steakburgers, and salads are all unformly good. It gets an extra star simply because we've had two good waitresses in a row, but in the past, service can be uneven. Try the Frisco Burger, or that new menu-- they've got a bacon-avocado thing. Then, there's the great shakes! Try the Dark Chocolate one! read more

Ah, Steak 'n' Shake. How the mighty have fallen. I came here craving a cookies & cream milkshake. I ended up disappointed. This was one of the most sugary shakes I've ever had. The cookie is my favorite part of a C&C shake, but they weren't blended well, so I had to use a spoon to get any cookie flavor. My wife's chocolate banana shake was runny and had white bits of some particulate matter in it. She got a turtle shake which tasted better. Only problem was the caramel and chocolate sauce weren't sippable. Spoon required here also, which was annoying as she was driving. IF this is what their shakes have become, I'll stick with Smashburger. read more

Normally this location was not the greatest service or food in years past but this time had a really good waitress and food quality was great. Had not been here in over a year. I had a tasty straightforward beef taco salad that hit the spot. Had crunchy tortilla strips, tangy sour cream based dressing. Hubby had his usual chili 5-way which he said was good like usual. That is chili, cheese, spaghetti, onions which is common to Cincinnati, OH. Son had tasty footlong hot dog with cheese fries. Seriously a foot long! Son's birthday cake shake downed in less than 5 minutes, so guessing it was good. Not fine dining by any stretch, but this location has improved food quality and service. Very pleased on how they are handling food and orders during this Covid-19 pandemic. Yes the drive thru lines are long but duhhhh, it's a pandemic right now and inside dining is closed. Patience my friends! Plus, the free fries upon request made the wait so much better. (At least they're trying). This on Sunday's are horrible! Is very busy morning to get breakfast here. But still good. Always is full of seniors getting discount. Wow I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but all the reviews were right. Staff is extremely rude place is a mess. The only saving grace was that the food was decent. Honestly not sure how that place is still in business. 1130 and the place was dead. Waited almost 10 minutes before we decided to sit ourselves and it wasn't busy. After finally making their way to our booth after several more 10 minutes the waitress took our order. Burgers & fries all around. Burgers came out as expected but the fries were cold AF. We had to send them back but by the time our fries came out the we had devoured our burgers!! Ugh. All I wanted was a good milkshake....the daily commercials made them look so good, thick, and delicious. The reality is we got a cup of cold milk. The shake was not thick at all...the flavor was ok but I felt like I was drinking sugary milk. I will never return, and I'll stick to my never fail McD's quick stop milkshakes. Thumbs down guys!! This is the worst fast food location I have ever been to. Even the workers advised us to leave and get away from this nightmare of a location. I also tried a $17 smoke em if you got em. This wasn't one of my favorite mezcals I've ever had. It was actually hard to taste the mezcal. I wouldn't order this one again. Tons of seats at the bar. Lots of sports on the TV's. It was absolutely packed on a Friday at 6pm. I didn't have any issues parking in the parking garage located behind the restaurant. Parking was free. Kind of in the middle of nowhere, but a great hidden gem!

It was a stunner, but this is not the app for you if you're not all about the yolk. It was yolk on yolk on yolk. I wanted something to brighten it up, like a pickled veggie or pickled onions maybe. I've had better taste experiences at The Monroe before, but this wasn't one of them, unfortunately.

The meal was 3 courses made up of 5 dishes and they had a 3 and 5 wine glass pairing. The shrimp were huge and I loved the crunch kernels in the salad. The chicken was juicy and had a nice kick. The steak was so tender and the mushrooms were crunchy and flavorful. The sauce in the dessert was also surprisingly flavorful. Finally the dessert were picarones, fried sweet potato with a fruit syrup. I was not a fan of the donut to syrup ratio, theres way too much syrup, but at least it's a nice contrast of sweet and crispy golden on the outside, and soft and moist on the inside. I also liked the quantity of the food, had leftovers to take back which is a lot for a Michellin star restaurant.

Between the Minnie pearl, three little pigs, seventh trimester, their specials, and even their sausage sandwich, nothing on a lunch menu could ever tempt me away. And don't even get me started on their bakery! Their bakery is a separate counter with cakes, cookies, handpies, brownies, and whoopie pies. Their selection is rotating and I've genuinely never been disappointed. Usually I have to take their stuff to go because I'm so full from breakfast, and it's usually pretty rich.
