Dear readers if you want a quick and an accurate order do not come here!!! If I could give this place zero or negative stars I would. We waited for forty minutes for the food and it wasn't just us no one in the restaurant was eating, but takeout was getting their food... When the food finally arrived my order had the one thing I asked to be taken off was on it and they didn't even give us everything we ordered. You can't beat their milk shakes. The meals are a great deal. The double royal burger is the best burger in town.

If I could give less I would. Went in for a quick lunch, almost empty dining area. Was seated by a lovely hostess as soon as we walked in. Sat for over 10 minutes, never once did a waitress/waiter address our table. Another 5 minutes passed and still nobody addressed our table, as the servers walked by and avoided eye contact with our table. Finally got up and just left. It was a terrible experience and we will never go back! It started with not getting the burger right, brought it back with HAIR in it (I obviously pissed someone off) without the fries and never brought any. She never came back to check on drinks or anything. She didn't even bother to adjust the bill until I said something. Plenty of places right there to go for a burger...Smashburger, Five Guys or Wendy's but stay clear of this place! read more

This is my normal location to visit but this Friday night was the worst experience I've had yet. It took an hour for the entire visit, and our waiter only saw us once to give us our food. On 07/06/2015 we came to this location at 11:45 am, spoke to the Manager about a wall that is always dirty. Another customer had overheard our conversation with the Manager, customer said to her server that if they don't like it then they don't need to come in and her server agreed and said no they don't need to come in then. So we went to speak with the Manager upon leaving/paying, he said he would speak to the server. Apparently the staff doesn't comprehend that customers are their pay checks, so we will take the servers advice and never ever go back. This location, hands down, worst service of any place I've ever been. Last time I went, server Amber ignored me and my children for over 25 minutes, and not taking our drink orders. When I finally asked for a manager, she stated nobody told her we were sat in her section (although she passed us several times). The manager purchased my meal and served me herself. I decided to give benefit of doubt, and try again. Today, my husband and 2 children and I attempted lunch. We waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged, and then a servers friend who came in 10 minutes after us was seated immediately (2 people, in a table meant for 4). We waited over 20 minutes to be seated. We then waited 46 minutes for our food. Its steak n shake, people. 2 Frisco melts, a kids Mac n cheese and a grilled cheese. The only way this takes that long is if you have to make the cheese yourself. Our waitress? Awesome. She tried so hard. Jessica , if you ever read this, we know this was not your fault, and we tipped you accordingly. The service here was pathetic. I think they only had one waitress there on a Friday night. It took them 20 minutes to take our drink order. After she dropped off the food, we didn't see her again for half an hour. They had a hostess seat us and several people standing at the drink station, but only one person actually waiting tables. This steak n' Shake is so bad we waited half an hour while other people were around us were getting their food we watched our food just sit there while our waitress did the cash register but there was at least three other waters just doing nothing while our food was getting cold. Pathetic excuse for a restaurant at any price point. This was a third strike for the same issues. Ordered online this time so instructions would be written and easy to follow - still they managed to screw up my order, adding items I requested removed and omitting items I was charged for. I arrived a few minutes before my order was scheduled to be ready, but quality was still very poor - cold congealed meat patty with a cold cheese slice, a truly nasty tomato slice that I didn't order and single tiny piece of wilted lettuce, paired with a large order of ice cold french fries. I was so disgusted that I threw my meal in the trash and went back out to get Subway. Seriously, this is the 3rd time that this particular S&S has either screwed up my order, bagged-up really poor quality food, or in this case BOTH!! Also, when you go inside to pickup your order be prepared to witness a really disgusting scene of a kitchen/ grill area in full view - it's obvious these people don't give two shats about a quality product and have absolutely no pride in themselves. BTW, I also nearly slipped when I came in because of a layer of grease on the floor left from old greasy mop water. Like I said, I don't rate based on an isolated event - but this was strike three! Never going back. Would give it zero stars if I could. Giving it 2 but only for the food . The service is the WORSE ever there. I would not return except my daughter likes it so much. We got sat tonight by the manager at 6:50pm, he threw the menus on the table, walked away like he was annoyed we were there, and did not give us a kids menu. We had to go get our own kids menu. We sat there for 10 minutes before the waitress came over. I was about to leave. She gave no apology for the wait time until I brought it up. She then said she was sorry that they didn't see us sitting there. How that is possible when 2 our 3 waitresses were at the surrounding tables several times in that 10 minutes. None of them noticed us sitting there with open menus?! She takes our order and the manager comes over to say he is sorry for the wait. He said it is busy, but knows that is no excuse. Then why say it when you know it wasn't a good excuse. He told me our meal was free and apologized again. The whole time he is talking to me he didn't make eye contact once, he spent the whole time trying to look down my shirt. The service there always sucks, tonight is the first time I said anything. Hope they get their act in gear and train the staff in customer service. Also not sure why he thought it was busy, there was more dirty tables then tables with people at it. absolutely the most horrible service i've ever had. took 12 minutes for a server to address the table after being seated. after server finally showed up placed order and food was delivered in an average amount of time. Then server disappeared again for 22 minutes, no check ins, nothing, sat waiting for 15 minutes of those 22 minutes for a soda refill. after getting a refill and finish eating it took another 10 minutes just to get the check. at least there was no wait for a cashier. read more

Love the milkshakes, love the food. To brand it as "fast & casual" dining, is completely false. The last time i was here, in May, I waited an hour and a half for an M&M milkshake, after recieving my food, check, and sitting i finally got a melted cookies and cream shake. Today on a busy friday night i finally came back after all these months and after being in the restaurant for an hour, our orders being placed 40 minutes prior (we knew this due to the date on our check) and completing our food we still hadnt recieved our milkshakes so i brought it up with the server and just politely said that we have been waiting for our milkshakes for 40 minutes. she proceeded to be rude and say that theyre doing it as fast as they can and that we werent the top of the list bla bla. Meanwhile people who rolled into the place 30 minures after us recieved their milkshades, food, and were out of there before we had gotten our things seemed wrong. I totally understand it was a busy friday night and the server was most likely overwhelmed- however, All i asked was a simple question that didnt really requisit such a snarky answer, even after she finished her speech to me ,my friends at the table turned and said wow that was very rude. Let me start by saying Amanda is a fun and courteous server, and she usually waits on us when we come in. the menu is pretty extensive and you can get so much for so little. there have been times when we come in and others have waited on us and they seem to forget items or to refill drinks. but other then that no real complaints. read more
