I went in while my husband sat outside. I brought menu out and we decided upon the GF pizza (hoping for the best, we never know what we might get). And last min I ordered the fries. My husband doesn't have to eat GF, but decided to eat with me and not get his own. It only took about 15-20 mins for our order. We were so shocked at how AMAZING that pizza was. I normally am disappointed in GF pizza, always tastes like cardboard. This did not taste like cardboard and was the best GF pizza I have ever had. I will be craving this pizza for the rest of my life now. Even my husband said it delicious. I can't wait for next summer when we return to have another one. They offered only one size of the pizza and it was enough for two people. I highly recommend stopping in and getting one, maybe two! Lol We got pepperoni, mushrooms and sausage - mmmm so tasty!!

This was our first time on this trail. We only went as far as the barn because the trail past that…read morewas closed still due to fire. The path to the barn is just about 2 miles. we had 570 feet of elevation gain. all trails said it was like 850 or something like that but that was definitely a bit off. When you first start the trail is a bit of up but then it flattens out. There are so many lovely views along the way! i am not familiar with this area or not and if this is a off leash trail or not but every dog we encountered was off leash. So just be forewarned if you have a naughty dog this may not be the place for you. The trail was a little wider so we were able to walk in groups of two which was nice. the river below was frozen and there was snow on the other side of it. The trail however was dry and perfect for hiking The barn which is 2 miles in is great. Look for the secret door while you are there to a room! Would definitely go back if i were in the area. The kids we were with were mostly not experienced hikers and everyone did just fine on the trail.

Had the opportunity to do a half day guided flyfishing trip on a company retreat yesterday. I'd…read morenever been before, and had a wonderful time! The shop outfitted 15 of us easily with boots, waders, rods, reels, and bait. A hearty lunch of sandwiches, chips, pickles and cookies was provided. We were split into groups of 2-3, and then off to our fishing location for the day. Luke was an incredible guide! He gave helpful instructions, was great to chat with, and kept the day exciting and informative. My coworker and I both caught multiple rainbows, browns, and white fish throughout the day and had the absolute best experience! Such a beautiful property we were treated to. Downtown is fun no matter the time of year. We enjoyed Art In The Park and then some shopping at the famous F.M.Light. Photos are of the annual Hot Air Balloon Rodeo. A must attend event, especially the morning launch. Reserve a ticket to take the shuttle to Bald Eagle Lake and be sure to bundle up and get your camera ready. I think that steamboat might honestly be the best ski town for the food because there are so many incredible restaurants. They also have hot springs and a tubing hill and great summer activities. Definitely a beautiful get away from the city that doesn't get too crowded because it's further away compared to the other resorts from Denver. There is also an airport that has direct flights from LA, Chicago, and NYC to name a few which is super convenient. There also flights from dia of course. Such a beautiful place with lots to do!

Evevry February, the Winter Sports Club puts on the Winter Carnival. Lincoln Ave is covered with…read moresnow and the Street Events including kids on skis being pulled by horses in various skills tests like ramp jumping, slalom and others, people being dragged on shovels by horses, three legged races on skis and who knows what else on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday night has fireworks, The Lighted Man who skis down the hill with roman candles shooting out of his voluminous backpack, skiers jumping thru fire hoops etc. Sunday has a big parade with floats and the high school band playing while sliding down the street on skis. A great diversion from skiing but it's only one weekend. This year was the 99th year and I suspect next year may be something special.

"So amazing, I have been twice!"…read more "I can't say enough about how great my stay at Storm Meadows in Steamboat Springs was. I went up in February with a few friends for a ski trip. I made it up late on a Friday night and was very pleased with the location of Storm Meadows. I like how it is not right in the village, but overlooks the village after a nice drive up the winding road. When walking into the condo I was very happy with the size. The bedrooms are perfect size and the beds are HUGE! It also has 2 full bathrooms which is very nice and a bunch of storage space for all of your luggage. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need and the kitchen table is very big and can accomodate a lot of guests or a large family. The couch also folds out for an additional 2 people to sleep and has a nice fireplace as well. The shuttle that Storm Meadows provides was exceptional. It comes every half an hour and will take you right down to the village. Here is the best part-The ski in ski out!!! There are lockers right on the level where you can ski right to the village so its very easy. The pool and hot tub is very relaxing after a long day of skiing. The pool is heated and the hot tub is very large. There is also a work out room and towels are provided for you too. I made a second trip to Storm Meadows in the summer and had a great time. We hung out at the pool and did some hiking on the mountain. I can't say enough about the location of this condo and how convenient it is. I highly recommend Storm Meadows and will be sure to visit again soon!"

Rented at Storm Meadows (through another rental company via Expedia). The entire complex is a…read moredump. We booked a ski condo via Expedia who was actually booking for Retreatia. The unit shown in our Expedia booking has granite counter tops, totally up to date. We arrive and walk into a unit that was last decorated in the 70s what is worse, there is wood rot, scrapes in bathtub, no extra toilet paper, a horrible moldy smell and not enough parking (although we were told we had one parking space). We contacted Retreatia and was told they would send housekeeping. They did not. They said there was plenty of parking in front of other buildings. There was not. I asked for a General Manager or Owner to contact me. No reply. If you are coming to Steamboat book with anyone else. This group is horrible.
