      Established in 2013.

      Im Jahre 2013 erfüllte sich die Familie Reichmann ihren langjährigen Wunsch vom eigenen Restaurant. Uwe Reichmann hat schon lange einen guten Namen im Kaiserstuhl. Sein Kochstil steht für eine gehobene ländliche Küche. Im Restaurant begrüßt Sie Doris Reichmann mit viel Herzlichkeit. Nach langen Renovierungsarbeiten ist es nun endlich so weit.     Again. This happened quite by accident. We were looking for a winery to relax and taste some…read morewines and on a Thursday not a really good day for R&R but still so most places were closed because locals won't visit since they are at work. So when we found this place hidden away from the Main street in Vogtsburg we decided why not. The place is actually a restaurant and a winery, which seems to be the theme as there are several others I've noticed doing the same thing. As it was late lunch time and we were getting hungry we just decided to stop in for a meal and have the tasting at the same time. When we walked in there was some sort of party going on so we sat outside under the tent, which actually irrespective of the cold weather (June 2016 in Germany was very cold) was nice. The fare is typical German cuisine no frills but very tasting and done to perfection and with that we ordered 1 "flight" tasting per adult... That was somewhat of a mistake. We didn't count that the pours unlike the US will be a full glass, so a "flight" which contains 6 glasses of wine was a bit much. :) So we had to stay there for awhile since after finishing the "flight", even half of it we were in no condition to get behind the wheel, but partaking in the festivities was a lot of fun. I'd say if I do get a chance to visit I'd go there again. It's a fun place.

    Nice restaurant, good food. I very much liked the sun-choke soup. The service was terribly slow…read morethough, but they did apologize for it : they apparently had a party for 60 upstairs. Also, go to the bathroom. On the way, you'll see a superb 3-story wine cellar from way back.

    What a wonderful place! Excellent wines, wonderful food, lovely setting…read more Overlooking the Rhine valley, Weingut Weber is a great place to enjoy some wonderful wines and wonderful food. My German family had its reunion there this past September and everyone of us had a great time. Herr Weber is a charming and gracious host, and an excellent wine maker. A great place to visit, do come and enjoy!
