Over the last year, we've had the unfortunate luck of wrecking two vehicles, and each time, the Jamison Agency at Allstate went above and beyond to make a bad situation manageable and stress-free. The first wreck was tough--we totaled an older car we had paid off long ago. We were worried about how little we'd get for it, but thankfully, our agent had convinced us to add a feature called Auto Replacement Protection. That small add-on (only $12.88 per month per car!) saved us. Instead of getting just $17,000 for the car, the policy bumped the value as if it were two years newer, and we received $21,000. That extra $4,000 made all the difference! The entire process was seamless: within minutes of calling, they filed the claim, assigned us a collision shop, and arranged a rental car. Updates came almost daily, and within two weeks, we had a new truck. Plus, our insurance rate didn't go up. Incredible. This wreck was not our fault. The second wreck was during a freeze, and I was dreading the process. We were at fault since the weather caused the accident, and I was sure our rates would skyrocket. But Allstate's accident forgiveness kicked in, and to my relief, our rates stayed the same. Again, they handled everything so quickly. A tow truck was dispatched within 30 minutes of contacting the body shop, even in the middle of a snowstorm. The claims adjuster and rental car company called the same day, and we've received daily updates ever since. I don't know how this claim will end, but I do know I don't have to worry because of how reliable Allstate and the Jamison Agency are. We trust them so much we have all our insurance with them--auto, home, and life. If I'm going to spend money on insurance, I want to know the company will actually take care of us when life gets tough. The Jamison Agency does that and more. The representative used my personal information (social, ext) without my permission to establish a policy to which I received several notifications of missing payments/canceled policy notices from a policy I never authorized. A policy that can only be opened with all my personal information which I never provided. A rep called me personally (after being told everything was cleared up) about my missing payment. I explained to her the exact information above and demanded to talk to the Agent responsible for my information being used without my permission and was told "she only speaks to individuals by appointment". You hire and employ individuals that process policies without authorization and you want me to make an appointment.. no. Corporate will here about this.
