The second time my car was hit I went to the other person's insurance because I did not want to pay my deductible and geico wasn't helping and was lying about following up. It was my experience with the other person's insurance that made me leave geico. They were so nice and timely. The adjuster came to my house on my schedule and I was paid quickly no questions asked. Another time I had to use geico towing and the type companies they hooked me up with were so disrespectful. This isn't what I wanted as a 15 year customer. I don't want to pay my deductible if it's not my fault. I want them to advocate for me.

In 2024, I obtained insurance quotes from several insurance companies, and my husband and I decided to purchase auto, home, and umbrella insurance policies through Madia Insurance Agency, which sells Erie insurance, because they had the best communication, coverage, and premiums. Since then, my husband and I used the auto insurance to pay for a replacement windshield after a rock had flown off the road and cracked the glass. Madia Insurance recommended a particular repair shop. The repair shop replaced the windshield but unfortunately also cracked a bracket for the camera. We paid $100, and Erie paid the rest. Madia Insurance contacted the repair shop and got them to replace the windshield again and the camera bracket for free. My husband and I felt very happy that Madia Insurance advocated for us.
