To further express my first-hand experience with Steven j Hoffman's accounting services services. My wife and I had used his services for a number of years throughout that period of time there was at least two occasions where discrepancies or rather failures to inform us of necessary tax requirements that later ended up costing us thousands on one occasion it was approximately $3,000 that could have been avoided as debt because the attention wasn't given to us as clients. Later Steven j Hoffman and his father Edward Hoffman a retired CPA had conspired along with my wife to keep hidden my financial documents of my incorporated business for tax year 2020.. on several occasions both verbally via text and email I had communicated with Steven j Hoffman and Edward Hoffman regarding the whereabouts of my businesses financial documents and information as we had used them previously in the past to handle our tax accounting both individuals denied any knowledge of that information the motive behind this action was due to the involvement of my ex-wife which at that time was my wife and she was pursuing a divorce with me so in order to disable my ability to acquire the necessary funds to defend myself by acquiring representation in my divorce they had kept hidden these important financial records. Chip Hoffman which is Stephen Hoffman's father had told me candidly that this is what they do as in this is not the first occurrence that they have determined for themselves that this unethical and unlawful action is an appropriate step to take within the very unfortunate circumstances of divorce proceedings between a married couple. What adds to the relevancy of why this is such a problem is because they both served as elders in a congregation the congregation it which my wife and I belong to they also were personal friends of mine at one time there was evidently inappropriate communications between chip Hoffman Stephen Hoffman with my wife for a duration of time of which I'm not aware but certainly exceeded 6 months possibly a year at which time they had concluded this very illegal and unethical course to take that had crippled me financially and had induced a tremendous amount of stress and contention between my wife and I during that time and continues to be a cause of struggles that I'm experiencing. I'm planning to pursue further courses of action legally for the invitations of their criminal behaviors. I have substantial forms of physical evidences that prove this occurrence and admittance verbally from Chip Hoffman. While during the course of their careers I'm sure that they have served many in a way that is fit and agreeable to the outline policies and statutes given by the IRS but in this instance and whichever additional instances that Edward Hoffman alluded to they are brazenly committing state and federal crimes against individuals and causing a tremendous amount of financial, emotional and physical harm to the individuals they are misleading.
