We send our son to this nursery and I can't recommend it more thoroughly than that! It was opened…read morein October of 2011 and it's a really, really great place. It's run by a couple and was formerly a family home but has been converted by the husband, who was previously a builder, to a really high standard. There are lots of lovely touches throughout the nursery, including a wooden play shop built into one of the rooms. He's now the chef and prepares all the children's meals fresh each day and the food always smells great. My son eats 2 portions most days! There are two rooms. One for the tiny kids - up to about 2 years of age, and another for those of preschool age. Our son has just moved to the 'bigger kids' side and they have managed the progression really well. He is really happy there and has come along leaps and bounds in terms of his confidence and speech since he started attending. Outside there is a lovely garden for the kids to play in, and it also has a covered area so they can still get fresh air when the weather is bad. There is a little vegetable garden that the kids help out on. The staff are brilliant and really make each day special for the kids. They do activities related to what is happening in the 'real world', so things such as Easter, Diwali, Mothers Day, etc, are all observed and catered for. We couldn't be happier with the place and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it with 5 stars.

Claims to be the largest indoor play centre in the North West. Well I haven't been to them all but…read moreit's pretty impressive. The kids absolutely love it. It has a massive wavy slide, a spiral slide, an indoor football area, cargo nets, balloons and even a designated area for the under 3's. There is also free parking to the side. For adults, there are comfy leather sofas, plenty of magazines and a 42 plasma TV to watch the footy. The cafe is excellent and serves a range of hot and cold drinks and foods, including muffins & cakes. Our favourites are the hot chocolate and the carrot cate. You can pick up fruit and snacks for the little ones and a jugful of juice. On a rainy day the kids can quite easily spend most of the day there as since there is no time limit. There also have several private rooms available to cater for parties. Opening hours Monday - Saturday 09:30 - 18:30 Sunday 10:00 - 17:00 Prices Under 12 months Free 2's and under £2 3's & over £3 (£3.75 at weekends)

only been there the once, but was very impressed with it. its a place for both kids and adults…read more parents can take a break and relax with a coffee and cake whilst the kids go off and run riot round the play area in safety. the coffee shop area is sectioned off from the play area so there is no danger of kids getting hurt. all the play equipment is padded as well. from what i saw, the staff are brilliant with the children, and theres a good mix of male and female staff. the building is secure, so you cant get in unless you are let in, which is great for parents peace of mind. The coffee area has got a variety of different seating, the leather couches being my favourite. Ragamuffins is a great day out, offering the chance to spend time with your kids, and socialise with other parents.
