I have nothing but gratitude to offer to the owners/operators of Stereo USA in Covina. While I was completing my own installation of an LED kit for my 2020 Nissan Kicks I needed to buy T-taps. The store Harbor Freight did not have the right size in stock. I walked to their shop, asking if I could buy some T-taps from them. The owner very graciously said, "You can have for FREE. How may you need". I was excited since I did not have to wait to order online or wait for the delivery. These guys gave me, for free, plenty of T-taps that helped me get my installation completed. I offered to pay them in cash, they said, "No, save it". A wonderful, compassionate way to help a human being in need. Car alarm went out awhile back and I had been lagging on being responsible and getting it fixed so today we decided to stop at the first alarm place we saw on our usual route and I'm so glad we did! Open on a Sunday, able to get installed today, average price and we got to wait in the store and watch movies with the ac blasting. They get lots of repeat customers and they really try and work with people. Car was finished under the estimated time too! read more

I came here with my Scion tC to get CarPlay installed. Before this, I went to over five places in the area, and they all tried to charge me $350 or more--just for the setup, not even including labor, taxes, or fees. When I came in, I met Omar and another employee, and they immediately took care of me. They offered me an amazing rate and even better service. They were super adaptable and worked with me to make it happen. They had the installation done in under 2 hours, and the results were perfect! As I came a day before this, the manager looking guy didn't even give me details to what I was buying. He sold me a subwoofer that I didn't want to be drilled into my car but it was done anyway. I've complained to him the next day and he just couldn't handle the things I had to say to him since I confronted him about it. He seemed to easily get upset for no reason as he walked out as I was speaking to him and had to go back inside to talk to him. He said there's nothing he can do but my original speaker wires were cut as if he asked me if they can which they didn't. I wanted to preserve them and he said to go on eBay and but the adapters, they're like a repair shop so I'm sure they'll be able to do it but no I guess he didn't want to cause maybe he got a little too butthurt. He needs to learn how to take care of customers no wonder he won't give out refunds but I managed to get it. I really don't recommend this place tbh cause they'll just do it however they want to do it. They won't even ask where you want your subwoofer the ones that go under the chair, the way they put it was terrible for me. Never again.. Update: they reverted my speakers and now they don't even sound what they used to sound before. read more

I've been coming here for years The system in my truck was put in, 2017. Paul and Anthony are AWSOME, ( WATCH OUT FOR ANTHONY THOUGH) all kidding aside great place, Baha his installer is great this place is where you want to have your system installed. My amp ( Phoenix Gold 1200.6) took a dump so I returned to replace amp during they're Alpine event. I replaced not only my amp but upgraded my head unit as well. I received a great price. Not only that the support after installation is AWSOME. Any problems I've ever had they have hooked me up (1) fuse 2020, (2) better amp set up 2023. My bass knob stopped working properly, the bass sounded weak, and everything felt off. Another shop charged me $35, told me my amp channel was burnt out, blamed a small hole in my subwoofer, and immediately tried to sell me over $420 in new equipment without even checking or resetting my settings. I came to King of Sound for a second opinion, and within less than 15 minutes they figured out the battery replacement had simply reset my audio settings. They retuned everything, made sure the system sounded right, and now my setup works perfectly again -- honestly better than before. The best part was they were professional, patient, and genuinely wanted to help instead of upsell me on things I didn't need. They didn't even charge me. It's rare to find businesses that are this honest anymore. Definitely earned my future business and recommendation.

This is not the place to get your new stereo. I will never come back after my installation of a halo 9 and amp and sub. The overall sales experience is as follows. I walk in and discuss the features I would want in my Sprinter van. I asked for specific features such as a 12 volt double throw switch with a relay so that I can switch power sources because I have 200 amp hours of lithium batteries in the rear of my van. The owner of the shop says YES! we can do that. I also want an amp and sub and 2 more channels on the doors and an option to add more speakers down the road. I then go inside and pay for the alpine sub, amp, and speakers. First mistake, they sold me a 300 watt 4 channel amp ( I need the option to add more speakers in this huge van!) Mistake #1 with this business transaction, they are selling me a device that will not support future upgrades and would rather sell me second amp for more channels lol. ( are you kidding, another sale... no thanks id rather just do it right myself now. This was a terrible business transaction and wastes both my time and the seller). I then explain what I want to the installer again after describing this power switch to the owner. The installer looks at me confused and has no idea what im asking for... We then settle on a normal setup and I agree that I can do this on my own without these guys. The install process was another nightmare and I had to visit the shop 3 times due to no stock in parts such as the stereo kit. Not to mention the strange placement of amp and sub that I will eventually replace. To the manager, When a customer comes in with a large vehicle like a full size van, why do you sell them a cheap ass amp ? why do you waste my time with and money with a tiny amp and ask me to buy a second amp? --------------- read more

Very bad work. The disgusting window tint job had smears and air bubbles. The at will employee lied to customer ,claiming the air bubbles would go away in two days. Plus continued the lie ,by saying: " Do you know about window tinting science". There is no such thing. Its very simple: Clean the windows very good. Then the adhesive can't stick. Then use a squeegee take out all the air bubbles. Also both the at will employee and Middle Eastern manager argued the dirty window was the out side window. Told customer to come back in two days. If problem still there would fix. How many customers would bring a bad window tint job back to a bad technician ? Also in the waiting area. A customer claimed it was his second time back . It appears the incompetent technicians can't fix the radio purchased by these : Rag heads. I guess you only get service if you drive in on : Camel. As a camel jokey ? I would never recommend this place to any one. If the job is not done right the first time then this is a bad place. Plus: Middle Eastern manager: Demanded payment first : Prior to any work being done or even providing a receipt. Plus: Promoting a bad radio. The Pioneer. My friend had paid : $700.00 plus: For radio with DVD. It only lasted three years. Then that was it. Don't forget all Americans if we don't convert to Islam we are : Infidels. This means : Filthy pigs. Its explained in the : High Deef and the : Koran. Plus : Never speak bad about: Mohamed. Bad incompetent in excusable service. No reasonable care. No ordinary care. Last week I had a new head unit and speakers installed in my 2006 Mazda MX5. My experience with this shop was very positive. I had done some shopping at other shops and knew the price range and Stereo USA Plus was quite competitive. One thing made them stand out and that was same day service on locating the dash unit needed to convert the one din stock radio to the two din set up. The other shops needed two to three days to get the piece needed but this shop sent an employee to the warehouse and had it ready to install within the hour. The sales person was very helpful and the installer was incredible. Before I paid for the equipment I specifically told them that if the new equipment did not look like an OEM install I wanted a refund. After all was installed I was extremely delighted. The install was done within a couple of hours and it looked like it came from the Mazda factory. The only reason I am taking the time to write this review is that I was so impressed with this shop and when I needed their phone number I looked them up on yelp only to find a couple of reviews that were the complete opposite to my experience. I would not hesitate to have more work done at this shop and I am a car guy who owns five vehicles. read more

If you buy anything here you will be getting ripped off. they tore me a new one bought a sub with amp for 900 with a trade in that was worth 600 he gave me 200 cause apparently it was broken when he didnt even plug it in. So I ended up paying 700 for the sub with amp installed that i see on amazon for 250. If you go here I suggest buying the stuff yourself dont be stupid like me and many others . Also they installed an aux cord for my brothers truck and they drilled into the ac stopped his cold air from blowing. 47 years of experience does not mean they are a good option. Like many others i wonder how they are still in business then i think again it's because of naive people like me that listen to dickheads thinking they are good people like me. i get you need to make money but 600 to order something off amazon? Maybe i should start my own god damn radio shop id pro be just as professional with no knowledge of the trade. Thanks for tearing me a new one you bunch of assholes read more

ooook, i got my car done at TEN 2 TEN , they hook up an alarm system, and i went to TEN 2 TEN shop over 6 times to fix the problems , and every time they work in my car for like 30 min , and they say the problem fixed , so after i got sick and tired of ten 2 ten SHOP , I WENT TO STEREO USA to see if they can fix the problem , so they charged me 30 dollar , i was ok with that , because i wanna get my car fix , so the the installer who worked in my car he was so fast , and he already knew whats the problem before he touch the car , i guess hes arminian , and hes cute too lol so he fixed the problem , and i was so happy , and i recommend this shop , and im going back soon to get my window tint , and get new radio thanks stereo usa for fixing the problem i had for almost 2 month , and thanks for that cute and sweet arminian guy who worked in my car , i don't know his name lol read more

The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions and help me find the perfect stereo for my car. Not only was the staff amazing, but the selection of stereos and other audio equipment was top-notch. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. Stopped tab Stereo USA Plus, got my stereo, amp and sub installed. Let me say they did a superb job!! The only unpleasent thing about this day tho was this guy named Gil Alvarado, he seemed upset about some damaged that happened to his subwoofer with a customer made after three or more long months. Let me say tho the owner really went out of the way to help this guy by replacing his sub at no charge!!! That's crazy man! He kept arguing and well at the end left with nothing... well all I can say is these people really try to help you in every way they can. Anyways, you guys have a stereo prob come here. I went to stereo usa last week to check my car Bahaa checked it and fix for free And he didn't even took a tip That made me feel so comfortable And love the service I went back a few days later And bought a radio , speakers and alarm I talked to Jason he was so nice and work with my budget And I honestly asked for bahaa the owner's son to work on my car , he's hot tho lol He did an amazing clean job and it sounded so amazing He took a little bit long , I understand he's the manager or something But I recommend this place and the workers all of them are nice and work hard Thank u and I will be back for window tint read more

The customer service at this stereo shop is amazing! Fadi the manager has always been friendly and courteous. If something needed to be adjusted regarding my stereo or any other device I have purchased, Fadi has always made sure that any issue was resolved in a timely mater. By far the best stereo shop in the area Paul and Jason are always a big help in getting you what your car needs .... I've been coming here for 15 years and have had approximately 9 cars done by them .... I've had them install simple systems and super high end full systems .... I spent over $2300 in this shop on my stereo ,I had to replace all wires because they were old and cheap.I had to fix the door speakers several times bad wires,after 1 year the door amp went out .They broke the holder for my radio did not replace ,they broke parts on my door panels ,lousy service ,they sell you junk equipment .I will never go there again ,they installed old door tweeters and said they were new .I'm writing the Bureau of Better Business about them read more

First time here and talked to the owner Paul and he gave me a great deal on a subwoofer/amp and custom box so it can fit perfectly in a compartment for my truck. Got it done in one day as promised. They did more work by adding fiberglass to the box with no extra charge. I took a chance on these guys and I am very happy and satisfied. I would definitely recommend my friends here. I've come here through reccomendations and friends. The service they provide is very well handled. Got a sound system going for 1k+ Theyre very knowledgeable at what theyre doing and speak with you on what you want for your vehicle. All I have to say about this place is the customer service was fantastic!!!!! Yes a place the actually goes in to detail on what your spending and what your buying with a budget ...not going to give you something you don't want . I've been coming here for years with my dad and there's been no problems with anything. Service has been amazing and they are very helpful. I started driving and went in for speakers and subwoofer and everything went smooth they answered all my questions and even showed me how to work everything. I was working on some upgrades on my vehicle and stopped in to talk to the guys about some LEDs. Upon locating the sizes that I needed the owner of the shop was very kind and said that I could just have them for free! Was quoted a price of $25 to install a switch to turn off the power to my audio system when they discovered something wrong with the amp which would not shut off. A breaker was installed that cost more than a switch not to mention more time consuming to install. I was very pleased when they stood by their original price of $25. I would recommend Stereo USA Plus for all of your car audio needs. read more

this is the worst stereo shop I have ever entered. I would never buy anything from here after the way I was treated. I cant believe they are still in business. the staff is rude and they treated me like garbage, even though I am young... I was still there to spend money! SMH!
