There's a huge gazebo in the center to provide shade along with trees scattered. I've never been in their restrooms so no idea if they're clean or not. Years ago we came here for a school field trip where the kids got to play in the water area, which is perfect for a hot summer day. There's also swings and play equipment. There's also grills and picnic tables for people to enjoy a lunch outdoors. They have a decent size parking lot and plenty of street parking as well.

My niece (4 years old) and nephew (2 years old) both had a really fun time playing on the swings and slides. The shade is great, and there are also picnic tables.

While it has some inclusive features, many structures don't feel designed with littles or kids with disabilities in mind. There are open stairs and gaps with no barriers, which made it stressful as my son kept running toward unsafe areas. We liked the climbing section with the big slide, but access wasn't very accessible and things got chaotic with kids not taking turns. The open field is nice for activities like kite flying, but again, no barriers meant constant redirection. Also worth noting: the dog park is right next to the baby swings and restrooms, and parking is very limited and easy to miss. Overall, some nice features, but the lack of safety made it more stressful than enjoyable for us.

There are huge, luscious lawns where people will set up volleyball games on weekends. If you have kids, there is a cute playground with plenty of fun slides. I really enjoy walking along the expanse of the park. As a new pickleball player, this is my go-to location to practice. There are eight courts and a neat queuing system. Because of the clear queue, there is always a very tidy line to play pickleball. What I love about the pickleball courts here is that there are two sides divided by skill level. If you're a pro pickleball player, the advanced side has a line of extremely skilled competitors. If you're just starting out, the beginner side has a good amount of new players to practice with. It does get very busy during certain times, like on weekends or after work. However, the queuing system prevents any confusion when the crowds get big. I absolutely love pickleballing at this park and highly recommend to beginners and more advanced players!

The only annoyance is the lack of parking. This playground brings out a number of visitors for the play area as well as soccer practice/games that always seem to be going on. Come here with an open mind and a whole lot of patience. Bonus points for the water bottle filling station. With just a few areas of shade, you will absolutely benefit from bringing a bottle to quench/cool your little ones. The trail on the border was not the sturdiest path, with large rocks protruding from the dirt and warning signs posted to "enter at your own risk". But I was still able to get a good run in while exploring the park, extending to the neighborhood since, again, the park is small. There were several porta potties on site, as well as a parking lot for convenience. Such a carefree and relaxing atmosphere, with the adorable shops and eateries of Big Basin Way just around the corner.
