My experience of Steve Emery Roofing is the complete opposite to the last review. I did not know any roofers but had seen a couple of local houses where S/E were working one in Baddeley Green and one in Brown Edge and both jobs looked very well done so I decided to get a quote . Steve came , looked at the job and sent the quote which after looking on the internet seemed like a fair price. A few weeks later the scaffolding went up and the job was done. Got a quote from them in December for a flat roof replacement. They were good to deal with to get a quote and gave a reasonable quote with a good price but that is where the good ended. Told me that the work would be done in 6-8 weeks but never showed up. When I rang them they would always promise to Check with Steve or someone else and to call back but never would. Good at offering excuses, not good at actually turning up to do any work. read more

beware!! their boss talks very smooth and makes out he knows the job inside out, but also does shortcuts at your expense. once paid he is very arrogant and rude. be careful you will get ripped off. they make a small job really big. i got done out of big money. i definitely would not recommend this outfit. load of bodgers and only after your money. plenty of other good firms out there. read more
