This is a top notch dentist. Dr. Francis is genuine, patient and explains it all. I moved to Long Beach and I'm so fortunate he works one Saturday a month. I drive to Riverside because he's gentle and so educated and excellent at what he does. My crown fell off, he took me right away and fixed it. Let me start by saying it's been at least 8 years since I've been to the dentist. So I had no reference point except for as a child. But this has got to be one of the best offices around. Put this on top in case you stop reading. They will work with you if you have no insurance. They want you to be able to get your teeth fixed. Office and building- extremely clean and up to date. Building is practically brand new in the riverwalk area. Easy parking, single level, and large waiting room. Staff- all the supporting staff for the doctor was amazing. From scheduling on the phone. To checking in, getting x-rays, checking out. Very knowledgeable and super nice. Explain everything to you before they do it and let you know all cost up front. Very very friendly. Doctor- he was great as well. Came in and went over the X-ray with me. Explained all options and what was the best option for me. Makes you feel very comfortable and that he's working on and helping you not just another bad tooth. If you haven't been in awhile or your looking for someone better try this guy. You will be very satisfied and feel that you have been taken care of not just attended to. read more

Dr Francis has been my dentist since I was a young child, I am now 32. He now sees my children as well, ages 8 and 11. He has always been sympathetic, understanding of my nervousness, throughly explains all procedures and never recommends services that aren't needed. He is an HONEST man. Dr Francis is not out for your money, he is looking out for your health. I've had many positive experiences with him. One that sticks out in my mind the most though...., **My daughter woke up with a terrible toothache Christmas morning. I never expected him to call me back when I left a message on the office voicemail with it being Christmas Day. Within 30 minutes he had called me from his personal cell phone to talk about her ache. He then called in and prescribed antibiotics for her and gave me instructions on how to reduce the pain. I picked up her meds and she was able to enjoy the rest of her day. He also made an appointment for me the next day to see her.** The staff at Dr Francis office is 5 star as well. The ladies, one being his wife, who work the front office are always happy and helpful with appointments and billing. They always have a smile. which definitely makes you feel more at ease in the office. The hygienists explain exactly what they are doing at all times and make your teeth feel slippery clean when they are done! I can go on and on about this office but I am sure you get the point! I've only been here once and will probably be my new permanent Dentist while living in Riverside. I can't speak for the work of Dr. Steven himself since he didn't really do any work on me. I came here looking for a new Dentist because I move to Riverside about a year ago. Interior was very nice and very well kept, probably one of the nices public restroom I've been in too. All the staff inside the office were very professional and welcoming. My dental assistant did an awesome job explaning everything she was doing and answered all my questions. I wasn't uncomfortable when she was doing my cleaning. Luckily I had no cavities so the dentist only looked inside my teeth and just gave the recommendations to floss more and come back in 6 months. Apparently there are a lot of cancellations here so the office staff makes a great effort in contacting you if you want to come in at an earlier date. read more

I am one of few people I know who actually looks forward to going to the dentist every six months, and that is in large part thanks to the wonderful staff and atmosphere at Dr. Francis's office. The front desk staff are always extremely friendly, and the hygienists are knowledgeable, patient, gentle, and very personable. I am always impressed that they remember details about my personal and professional life and chat while working and it is never awkward. Dr. Francis works with my whole family, including working with my mom when she was out of work for an extended period of time and didn't have insurance. This office is the place to go for your dental needs. The staff is so friendly, amazing at the work they do and won't make you think you need unnecessary work other practices are known for. They have taken care of my kids, me and my now ex. They even been there for me through my divorce. They work with all budgets and have spectacular payment plans for all budgets. Very rare to find a practice that is like extended family you only see a few times a year. And beyond that it's impeccably clean. Rose, Rosie, Dr Francis and the rest of the staff are all top notch. I came here after going to a different dentist (to get a second opinion )the first dentist told me I needed so much work done and the bill was quite a few thousand more than I could afford. The staff was fighting in the back room. I left feeling so confused as to what happened. I called dr Francis office and they got me in and I couldn't be more pleased! they all had smiles on there faces never made me feel rushed they explained everything they were doing. I found out I needed a fourth of the work done that the 1st dentist told me I needed.
