He was professional and seemed very knowledgable. We decided to rent instead of buy to make any equipment problems we had the renting company's problem. All went well until we received the rental agreement. There is a clause under the "REMEDIES" section that's reads: "Take possession of the Equipment, without demand or notice, wherever same may be located, without any court order or other process of law. Customer waives any and all damage occasioned by such taking of possession;" Anyone who would agree to this clause deserves what happens to them. I seriously doubt its legality, but don't want to test it either. I simply do not want to deal with a company that would ever expect a customer to agree to such a heinous possibility, although I'm sure most sign the contract not having read it. Be very aware of this clause. If it's in there, they CAN use it! This company is regrettably not a company we would ever choose to associate with. We bought elsewhere.

I bought the system for almost $2300 it only worked for about a week and a half before I started getting sulfur and iron smell again I had to add peroxide to the system manually which is part of the reason why I got rid of my last system because my representative Jason said that I would not need to use salt or peroxide for his system but it turns out that everything he said was nothing but a big lie. I performed all the tests that Jason asked me to do for my system and at the end he wants me to invest in yet another system of peroxide to add to this already not working the system to make it work after being told that I didn't need any salt or peroxide to make the system work. I asked for a full refund he refused to give it to me after he said his Company has been in business for 37 years. Why can't the customer service people just tell the customers how to do this for "free" over the phone? Because they want you to spend $209.90 on instructions they should have given you for "free" when buying this very expensive system. Here are the proper instructions, so you do not have to waste $209.90. Proper Instructions for Changing out a Water Filter for the Blue Canister hooked up to your Water Softener: 1). We are on well water and after testing EarthSmarte said they could handle all the iron in our water as well as removing the calcium. Been putting off a new water heater for several months. I called Steve first thing when they opened on a Friday morning. I sent him some pictures of my existing water heater, he called me right back and got me set up with an appointment same day! WAIT...it gets better! Steve's son, Jesse arrived early and was extremely friendly and down to earth. As he worked, he explained what he was doing and even hit it off with my 9 month old puppy. After all was said and done, I have a spanking new water heater, paid a VERY reasonable price for it and my puppy made a new friend! Life Source Water Filtration systems recommended Steve Morin Plumbing to install my new Life Source system. The installation was well done and in a timely manner. Jesse arrived on time, and informed me of what would take place in replacing the old Life Source system with the new one. While here, Jesse noticed that piping from the water heat to the furnace was not done correctly and would cause carbon monoxide to leak into the garage. Upon my request, he got a cost to bring the piping up to code and completed that work after installing the Life Source system. As I told Jesse, they are my new plumbers. With ours being an urgent issue he booked us in for the following day and his son came to fit the water heater. I noted that they were a plumber that…read morequalified for Yelp's guarantee program, a neat program that I've fortunately never had to use. I did my initial contact outside of business hours. Early the next morning, I had a message from Adam B. Once I got to work, I returned the call and quickly described my issue and what I believed it to be. The first available appointment wasn't until Monday (it wasn't urgent, so I wasn't worried about going the weekend). I got my timeframe. I had a couple other appointments that day, so I ended up taking the day off so I could easily be available. I immediately liked that they told me who would be arriving - AND that was who arrived. I also liked that they use a customer portal that allows you to have some security if you pay online or to review your records. Christian arrived (there was one other person with him). It took him a couple minutes to diagnose the issue he believed it to be, and it took him not a lot longer to determine that diagnosis correct. He quoted the price, I agreed, and he got to work. After finishing the work, he determined the original issue I'd believed it to be wasn't quite needing to be addressed (but will be in the near future). We discussed options, including ways I could save a bit. Christian was personable and explained things in a way I could understand. The issue was likely caused by me, but he managed to avoid using the word "idiot" at any point. The repair was done in a timely manner. The price ended up being a bit lower than quoted. I appreciated his honesty as he very easily could have pointed me toward a repair not needing done yet. It also became obvious the last person I'd used had really only done half the job. Everything has worked beautifully since Christian finished. There are likely a couple more projects I'll tackle in the near future, and I won't hesitate to return to Grateful Plumber. The housecall was $59, but that was credited toward the repair once I decided to have them do the work. Friendly employees. Good follow-through. Fair pricing. Quality work. Problem solved. That's 5-star for me and another winner for Yelp's project feature.

I called the grateful plumber as soon as I had a chance , because of everything that is going on. The voice mail said that cancellations done in less than 24 hours would still require the service fee. I left a message and cancelled the appointment then I get a text that their service guy is on his way. I called back and talked with the owner I'm assuming and he said he is charging us a service fee anyway. That it was too late to call off his guys and that they had been holding this spot for me. The shower trim job turned out to be FAR more complicated that originally anticipated. The former owners had literally drilled through the pipes in an attempt to get incompatible pieces to work, and the pipes were in bad condition due to excessive mineral scale. Jeremy went above and beyond, replacing the full shower line while only charging me to replace the valve. The water softener he sold me, while not cheap, is a top quality, commercial-grade product. He is a true professional who clearly takes pride in his craft and supplies only superior parts to customers. I would be happy to hire Jeremy and his team again, and he quickly fixed a few small issues with the job at no added cost. I highly warn those considering the services of this business to save themselves a nightmare and…read morenot use their services. In October of last year (2025) I asked for an estimate to fix a leak in the kitchen. I had no idea where the leak was coming from. Some rep named Bobby came over and went through an elaborate explanation of the "high-tech" methods they used to find a leak. So he had me sign a form that he stated was a simple explanation of what their services offered and that I would use their services if my insurance company agreed with the estimate. He then brought in a small device that he said was state-of-the-art in detecting leaks. He put on a pair of headphones and used a suction cup-type device to listen for a leak. Shortly, he stated he found the problem. It was a leak under the slab and he offered me to listen. I told him whatever, it sounded like a leak, but I'm no expert! He then gave me a vague invoice for $3000! I told him this was going to be submitted to an insurance company that required services to be thoroughly explained. He came back with another invoice that wasn't really that much better in explaining why the services were that much. I told him I would contact them when I got in touch with the insurance adjuster. He then stood up over me and stated he couldn't leave my home without collecting $550 for the services rendered in finding the leak. I told him he never mentioned those fees to me and he continued to state he couldn't leave until he got the money. Now imagine, someone in your living room threatening not to leave unless they get some money! It was really getting ready to get nasty until we got a supervisor on the phone who apparently advised him to leave and told me to contact them when I was ready to get the work done. Later I found out the leak was actually coming from a downstairs toilet with a leaking tank that was oozing under the flooring. So then I contacted Pristine the next day to cancel the contract per Indiana law. The company has been harassing me ever since still trying to say I owe them $550 for a service that was a fraudulent attempt to extort money for a service that wasn't even correct! This was the worst nightmare that I have ever encountered with a company. I shared it so you won't have to endure what I did. I believe that high-pressure tactics like this should be against the law!

I've previously worked at a plumbing company and understand the intricacies of a lot of the sales…read moremodels etc... but with that being said I was able to notice that my tech really went over and beyond to help me with my issue (stupid toilet crap, pun intended) cost was great and can even comment on the education that was given and follow up as well!! I'm a fan and will recommend this company to anyone in a crappy situation (did you see what I did there?) 5 stars!!
