I was charged $735 (over $770 with credit card fees) and was not provided with an itemized invoice showing labor or parts, which made it difficult to understand how the pricing was determined. During the visit, the technician asked to use my personal household supplies and did not follow specific instructions regarding home access. When I later contacted the owner to ask for clarification regarding the pricing, the interaction became hostile and dismissive. I was told I was not a valued customer and the call was ended abruptly rather than my concerns being addressed. Called Steve during the evening about sewage smell in our bathroom. I thought it was the shower but Steve said it's probably the toilet seal gone bad. We scheduled a time for the next day. Jesse came out in the morning. He was friendly and loved our dog. He assessed the bathroom and agreed it was the toilet. He took the toilet up and sure enough the seal was broken. He replaced it quickly, reset the toilet, and even cleaned up with Clorox and paper towels I already had out. He also re did the screws around the flange and shimmed the toilet to keep it level. I had my newly installed hot water heater serviced 4/8/2024, heat was not turning on. Plumber showed up with no tools and asked to use my voltmeter to check the continuity. I was informed it would be 195 for the service call and 195/hour additional to troubleshoot the hot water heater. I was informed my elements were bad no continuity. A new plumber came out today and verified that the continuity and power of the unit was good. The unit required a new control board, I cannot blame that on Morin plumbing. I would expect a plumber to have tools and do more for the $195 service. read more

My water heater went out and was leaking. The water heater is located on the 2nd floor and there was also a problem with the drain and water was leaking through the ceiling on to the first floor. I called the plumber I used to a few years ago that installed this Whirlpool water heater I had purchased from the big box store that begins with L. But he could not get to me for over a week. What started out as a positive experience ended up being not so great. I had a Steve lined up to come today (3/4/19). I felt very comfortable with him and his reviews. I took a half day off of work and was home by 11:45 at the latest. Steve called and texted at 12:04 to say "his plumber was on his way and was I home?" I didn't hear his phone call or text, either because I walked outside to the mailbox at one point or just didn't hear it when I was mopping the floor. I called Steve around thirty minutes after his initial phone call and he curtly told me he sent his worker (his son) to another location. Note: I was home. He said he would send his son out "between 12:30 and 1:30, after he finished up with his previous job." He never said he would call ahead of time. I had just texted him pictures of the water damage the previous night (3/3/19) so, obviously, I was going to be home. There was no excuse for what he did. His reasoning was they "always call ahead of time because customers change their minds." That was NEVER mentioned to me. I was very clear that he was the plumber I wanted to use, and that I was taking a half day off. Obviously, I planned to be home if I texted him on Sunday night at 7:00, showing him pictures of the water damage in my home.
