Going to Steven's Jewelers was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made, hands down. I was nerve-wracked trying to figure out how to get my wife the best ring that I could, not being well-versed in the diamond industry, and I can honestly say that I could not have stumbled upon more upright, principled, intelligent, honest and talented Jewelers than Steven and Kathy. They literally personalized the entire ring, down to the smallest details, just for me, and saying that they went above & beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for my wife and her ring would be the understatement of the century. I am honestly blown away with the level of thoughtfulness and care that they showed to me, let alone the exquisite craftsmanship and skill that they exhibited!! Steven is definitely one of the best artists in the industry, and it really showed in just how expertly he crafted my wife's ring. The precision he used when breaking the diamond, and the skill he exhibited in shaping it to give it just an awe-inspiring sparkle (the colors of the rainbow literally dazzle the eye & shine when my wife walks around, even at night... I saw it catching the eyes of unawares passersby multiple times on a night out downtown) is simply unmatched. And Kathy is in a league of her own in terms of her artistic ability to match design and functionality in the construction of the band. She designed it specifically for me and my wife, even utilizing its own curvature to shape out the first letter of our last name in beautiful fashion. I was simply blown away. Not only that, but she went way above the extra mile and got me a box to present the ring in, fitted with a small light so that the full radiance of the diamond could be shown in the crucial moment when I present the ring to my wife. My wife was simply floored when I gave it to her, and I owe that 100% to Kathy & Steven--THANK YOU!! The level of care and attention that I received, and the overall genuine concern for making this the best possible experience for me is honestly something that is, to use a phrase, as common as finding a diamond in the rough for consumers in this industry, and when you find people like that you are truly appreciative. I want to start off by saying that Steve and Kathy are great. I came to them with absolutely no knowledge about what I was purchasing (engagement ring), and they took the time to walk me through the whole process and answer all of the questions that I had. And I had a lot of them. After reviewing the process, they put together a few designs, and then we discussed them together. After some review, I picked the final design and they got to work. The ring was completed quickly, and the quality far exceeded my expectations. The diamond itself is of fantastic quality, and the price point was equally impressive. I was able to really pick out what I wanted as opposed to window shopping at the mall. To me this was one of the greatest parts about working with them. They took the time to ask me some questions about my fiance, and they helped design a truly beautiful ring for her. She has been wearing it, and is constantly getting compliments on it. It is also nice to have something that is truly unique to her, and no one else will ever be walking around wearing. I can not say enough good things about working with Stevens Jewelers. I first met Steve when I was shopping around for an engagement ring. He was recommended to me by one of my best friends and as soon as I met him I knew I was in good hands. Steve and Helen helped educate me and also worked with the specific designs I had in mind. I was so happy with my wife's engagement ring that they also designed our wedding bands. In addition, I reached out to them about making a custom necklace using the stone from my wife's grandmother's ring. We came up with the concept of a wave and the diamond would sit in the middle. Recently, my wife and I celebrated our 6th anniversary and we also had our second son. My son's names are Logan and Lawson and I had a the idea of creating a custom piece to symbolize my wife Lindsay and the two boys. We came up with the triple L piece and it turned out amazing! This is the place to go to get really really good diamonds and beautiful jewelry at a fair price. I would just like to start out by thanking Steve and Kathy once again! I came to them on the recommendation of two close friends, who each had custom engagement rings designed and made with Steve and Kathy. I had been looking for engagement rings/places which would be able to make a custom piece for my girlfriend (now fiance), and I'm very happy that I chose Steven's Jewelers! From the start, the process was easy, personal, and what's even better is that they made it fun. Steve makes you feel like family right off the bat, is extremely honest during the process, about the materials being used to create your piece, and the industry in general. You can see and feel his passion for what he does every time you talk to him. Kathy created some amazingly beautiful and delicate designs based around my fiance - she was able to integrate custom elements based on her name, occupation, and just general demeanor. The whole design process was extremely tailored around my fiance. Kathy created computer models of multiple custom designs for me to look at during my initial consultation, and Steve explained each design, with us agreeing on one. During the process of creating the piece, he kept me update along the way, let me use a payment plan as it was being made, and made the whole process easier than I could have imagined. He recommend some great insurance on the piece, so they are really a one stop shop for what you need. Upon seeing the piece for the first time in person, it looked better than I could have even imagined, they created a piece of art, not just a ring, and I almost thought they weren't going to let me take it home since they loved it so much too! I couldn't recommend Steve and Kathy more for designing and creating a custom ring. Everything from the consultation, to the process, to the final piece was flawless. I heard of Steven's Jewelers through a business referral. They were highly recommended for making custom items. I needed several items for my office to made up in a relatively short amount of time. All in all my experience was great! They walked me through the entire process, and allowed me to take as much time as I needed to be sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. My insurance company referred me to Stevens jewelers when I noticed that my grandmother's engagement ring ( which I was lucky to inherit ) was cracked two weeks after I gave it to my fiancé! Not knowing anything about what I needed to do I took it to Stevens. Steve went over my diamond and carefully calculated the risks and outcome. Even though I am sure they see this situation everyday they clearly understood the importance of the piece as a family heirloom.
