    Cody Fuqua and his team have been nothing short of a major disappointment. We've encountered…read morerepeated issues with both our home and auto policies due to their carelessness and lack of communication. After canceling our renters insurance and replacing it with a homeowners policy, we continued to be charged for months. Despite numerous follow-ups--many of which were ignored--it took over a year to receive a refund, which was then sent to an incorrect address not even listed on our file. Even more concerning, they mistakenly placed my fiancé's sister's VIN on our auto policy--leaving his vehicle technically uninsured for an unknown period of time. This is a serious oversight that could have had significant legal and financial consequences. To make matters worse, they directed us to Caliber Collision for repairs (an entirely separate nightmare), assured us we wouldn't owe anything due to full coverage, then later billed us $500. In short, this office operates with poor attention to detail, unreliable communication, and a complete lack of accountability. If you're going to use State Farm--already a questionable decision in itself--do yourself a favor and find a different agent.

    Now seeing other reviews, I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt the agents in this office are…read morepushy. I've had the most difficult experiences communicating with these people. I receive sarcastic and simply pompous remarks. For example, how they know they're unprofessional and that I don't have to remind them, or I just get a constant thumbs-up emoji if I ask them to quit calling me multiple times in a row. These agents have no customer relations training and are extremely pushy and "gimmicky" feeling. Anytime I've wanted to make changes, I'm spoken down to or made to feel as though I'm making the wrong decision if I'm not adding a life insurance policy or extra bells and whistles to my auto policy. Additionally, I had to fight tooth and nail last year to have a policy removed; I didn't even approve them continuing to charge me. I kept asking them over and over again to remove some sort of disability coverage and they kept saying that "it'll make your payments less combined if you keep it." This was not true and went on for months.

    Hit by a Trexis insured driver on April 30th. Myself and the other driver were cordial with each…read moreother, exchanged insurance info and got a police report filed. Got home and called my insurance company. Then I Google "Trexis insurance reviews" and my stomach sank. Gotta admit, its very sketchy for an insurance company to have no social media presence in this day and age. I braced myself for a hassle, and accepted that I might have to file through my own insurance. But honestly, things with Trexis went fairly smooth. They sent me a link to a website through which to send photos of the damage. Within a week, the vehicle was declared a total loss, and the claim was forwarded to their total loss department. Made me a very fair offer. Minus one star because things were kinda drug out at this point, and I had to act as a go-between between Trexis and my loan company more than once to get things moving. Not sure on which end the miscommunication was happening, but somebody definitely dropped the ball more than once. But in the end, all was resolved. Finance company received the payoff on May 25th, and I received a check for the balance two days later. Not the smoothest of procedures, but far, far better than I'd feared. Calling it a win. Edit - I feel I should point out that I have a family member with a spare vehicle that I was able to borrow, so I didn't bother with trying to get a rental. That may have played into my positive experience. Not changing my star rating, because thats based upon my own experience, but in the name of full disclosure, I thought I should clarify this point.
