I appreciate she was busy but if she had told me that when I first came, it would have been fine and I would have just found someone else to do the job. If she had even told me when I first returned that she wouldn't be able to get it done, I would have been disappointed. To string me along and then rudely tell me she would not do the work was terrible customer service. She never even said she was sorry. If you want work done in a timely fashion, avoid going to In Stitches.

I brought in two pairs of pants to be hemmed and one pair of jeans that only needed one button. She tried to charge me $70. When I paused and took a second to add up in my mind how two hems and one button could be that much, she says, "yes, three pairs to hem and one button that's $70." I said no, only two hems and on button. Did you do three hems? She says she needs to find her glasses and then corrects herself. Apparently she can't read her own handwriting. Now it's $50....for two hems and a button. I said "ok I'm here and I did not check the prices ahead of time, here's my card." To which she says, "no cards." I ask if there is a sign posted anywhere that says cash only. She walks over to an open interior door and closes it. On the back of the door is her hand written sign saying "cash. check. venmo". Luckily I had cash on me or I'd have been sol. So I'm visibly taken aback by the unprofessionalisms and I've paid cash, standing silently for change. While getting change she mentions that "in ten years you're the only person to complain about prices." Standing silently is not complaining. Anyways I tell her that it's the combination of all the factors. She just got huffy and told me to not come back then. Oh nooo, I can't go back?

Wow, I am so thrilled to have found Tianna and Jeannette from And Sew On…read more I recently moved to the Cape from Los Angeles, and I was a bit nervous I wouldn't be able to find a great tailor. I bought a dress for my daughter's wedding, and I wanted it to fit perfectly. The dress was almost there but Tianna and Jeannette made it fit perfectly. They both are so experienced and have excellent eyes. When I tried my dress on after the adjustments, I thought it looked great. Jeannette came over and loosened the straps ever so slightly so the dress fell on my hips better and it made such a difference. I thought I had a good eye but And Sew On is the real deal. Thank you Jeannette and Tianna for helping this mother of the bride-to-be feel simply beautiful in her dress.
