My family and I have been eating at the butcher shop for a little over a year, pretty much weekly. It's our go to spot. We take our friends and family here anytime we want to treat them to a tasty meal! I have tried most of the items on the menu and truly have never been disappointed. For the longest time, the burger was my go to choice and the patty melt was my husband's go to. Both delicious! But our absolute favorite meal here lately is the brisket sandwich, a Thursday special, and I hate to even share this because I don't want them to sell out of it before we make it there on Thursday nights. It is SO tasty. The brisket is nice and juicy, and the sourdough bun makes for the perfect combination. You can't go wrong with the side you choose - French fries delicious, onion rings delicious, chips - you guessed it, also delicious. Kids meals - the grilled cheese is good, the chicken tenders are top notch. My husband and I often steal a bite of our kids' chicken fingers and every single time we say, "man these are good". Other meals I have tried that are delicious- chicken salad sandwich, hot ham and cheese, beef stew (so good!!!). Appetizers - Texas toothpicks are a must! And if talking about how good their food is wasn't enough to make you plan your next meal here... the staff are so incredibly kind. We love them! My husband and I truly love this restaurant and love everything we've tried. Try it out, but don't eat all the brisket!!

Such a neat concept- you're given a card, make your way around the wall of wines, pick what you'd like to try and pour yourself a glass, basically enjoy wine on tap! If you find one you really love, you can always go back for a fuller pour. Not wanting to do that? No worries. they also offer wine-based beverages you can order right from your table. The space itself is quaint and perfectly laid out for its size. They even have the cutest patio area. Everything we tried food-wise was fantastic: Meatballs Dirty Martini Crostini Cheese Board Pizza I'd happily order every single item again, and I'm already looking forward to working my way through more of the menu. I also noticed they host different events regularly, and I absolutely loved the comedy show. It was run very well, and you could tell the comedians were having just as much fun as the crowd. I'll definitely be back for the next one and I'm following their social media for more events.

The work they put in the establishment is obviously, and greatly appreciated. The comedy night itself was a lot of fun; the comedians were hilarious, engaging, and kept the energy up all night. I've already been telling my friends about it and can't wait to come back to sip on some new wine favorites and hopefully catch another show!

Highly recommend Olivella's for dine-in or takeout…read more Salads are hyper-fresh and creative (yet not super complicated). Pizza is prepared in two styles - Neapolitan (thin and chewy) and Roman (thin and crispy). Iced tea was delightful. Wine options are a bit overwhelming, so ask your server for recommendations. Decor is warm, eclectic (hostess station is an antique desk, love it!), and welcoming. The restaurant isn't huge, thereby adding to its welcoming vibe. There are small tables along with bar-top seating, giving you options if you're alone or with a group. Shoutout to the staff who are supremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the restaurant. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the work that goes into each dish. TIP: Parking on Camp Bowie is limited, but Olivella's has a private lot behind the building (just carefully read the signs to make sure you're parked in the correct spaces). Enjoy!

We sat at the bar. Our server took our order promptly. To start off, we got the fried pickles and skillet meatballs. I'd say both were pretty standard. Nothing overly spectacular but still pretty good! Maybe one critique was that the meatballs were a bit dry despite having plenty of sauce. For main, I got the Fish & Chips. Now, I don't know if The Social House has a particular dish that they are known for but if they had to choose one, it should easily be the Fish & Chips. The exerior was nice and flaky. The inside fish fillet was juicy and flavorful. There was a bit of separation between the two that I think really elevated the dish. Paired with the fries and malt aioli... I can confidently say that this was the best Fish & Chips I had ever had. All in all, would definitely recommend!

I ordered the artichoke dip as an appetizer and lets just say no leftovers on this one. The skillet helped kept our dip warm which I was grateful for because this particular dip was packed with cheese! For my main dish I ordered the blackened shrimp and grits and once again it was hard to stop eating. The shrimp was seasoned so well and quite Jumbo in size. The grits were cheesy and creamy just how I like them.
