Absolutely dreadful. I stayed 6 months at 920 Park Ave. The fixtures/fittings were dilapidated. Knobs were loose/didn't work. Stove needed a repair man. Toilets wobbled ENORMOUSLY. AND when my 6 month lease was up on June 30 and I'd vacated/returned keys, etc they charged me for an extra month's rent ($15K, July). Fortunately my bank was able to catch it in time. AND the security deposit was returned with a $3,000 charge for "Utility" which was odd since I paid ConEd directly and heat, hot/cold water were included in the rent. This charge was disclosed on the 84th page of an 85 page document and covered internet and gas for the stove. Do not rent from these people. It's a scam and will cost you $000's more than you expect and it's dilapidated. read more

PLUS THERES IS HORRIBLE CONSTRUCTION Thats start every day at 6 in front. This has been, without question, the worst management experience I have ever had. As a woman living alone, I expected to feel safe and respected in my own home. Instead, I was left dealing with weeks of unnecessary stress, anxiety, and complete disregard for my well-being. After a water-related incident damaged my flooring, I was forced to live with a damaged floor for over a month despite repeated requests for updates and repairs. The lack of urgency, communication, and accountability had a significant impact on my mental health. No resident paying premium rent should have to chase management for weeks just to have a serious maintenance issue addressed. To make matters worse, management entered my apartment without my consent while I was inside. That experience left me feeling shocked, uncomfortable, and violated in my own home. A resident should never have to question whether their privacy and personal space will be respected. When I tried to advocate for myself, I was met with dismissive and, at times, abusive treatment over the phone. Rather than listening or working toward a solution, I felt intimidated and ignored. When I asked to speak with someone above the property management team, they refused to connect me with senior management, leaving me with no meaningful way to escalate my concerns. The only people who consistently treated me with kindness and professionalism were the doormen. They are exceptional, compassionate, and genuinely care about the residents. They deserve recognition because they were the only positive party. I would strongly discourage anyone from moving here. read more

I met multiple residents in a Stonehenge building on the Upper East Side when I was there for an apartment tour. Literally all of them said they ignore tenant requests and don't fix anything despite repeated calls. Two told me they couldn't wait to move out. read more

the building at 101 W 15th Street had a huge rodent problem when I was there in beginning of 2021. There are mice in the walls and they would chew through the walls and enter my apartment. I started getting mice in my place in January 2021. I told management but it was never fixed. Well, it ended with me having to flee my apartment and get a hotel room in mid February because there were 8 mice running all over my apartment. They were on my counter, in my vitamix, on my utensils, on top of my microwave. They had eaten through my dog's dog food bag, food on the counter. And I kept a very clean apartment. There was mouse poop all over my dog's toys, in my closets, on my books, on my chairs, in my shoes and even on my clothes. That night when there were so many mice, I came to the front concierge crying. I had to get a hotel for the night and told management I'm done. I'm moving out. It had been over a month and situation kept getting worse. Not only did management not reimburse me for my hotel, they said I could not get out of my lease. They treated me horribly. Did not say sorry I left crying and had to deal with this situation. The apartment was uninhabitable and they didn't care. I was probably eating off the counter after mice had been on there. They only care about money and not about their tenants. The super and the front desk staff are wonderful, but not management. Update: A year after moving out of 330 East 63rd street, I am still getting intercom calls to let people into the building for deliveries. I have reached out to management several times via email- they reassured me my cell phone would be removed. It has not been. I get 1 to 2 calls a week asking me to buzz people into the building. When I reach out to call the office I get "via IP office" or answering machines.. Hopefully, another year won't go by before this is resolved.... read more

The doorman at 20 park ave were the best doormen I've ever had. German, Kadar, Clint, Haydee, Adrian, David, Jose and Eros were my favorite part of living in a Stonehenge building. WORST... It's in Manhattan Midtown, the location is good, and the neighborhood is quiet because it's on the east side (1st ave). I barely heard sirens or other bothering sounds. BUT I had to struggle with the smell of my neighbor smoking 24/7, even though I had a respiratory disease. I talked about this problem to management and the superintendent since my move-in. Still, the only thing they did to me was installing the door blocker to my apartment'sapartment'sRoaches everywhere. This apartment has lots and lots of roaches in the building. Seriously. Even though it was wintertime, I saw a dead roach in my bathroom. I saw more than 10+ roaches in this apartment, and of course, they were in my apartment, too. I was paying about $3000 for rent, and did I deserve these roommates? I always throw away food and trash and keep my unit clean. 3. Constructing the hallway and elevator every time. I have to struggle with construction sound every morning starting from 9:00 AM. They are constantly constructing and re-constructing, and the tenants are the ones who suffer from the painful noise. 4. Late Deposit Back I moved out in the summer, but it was three months later that I received my full deposit back. I called them twice, and finally, one employee from the management sent it to my forwarding address, and he said", "Sorry we missed it" Lol " What the? The only good thing in this apartment is the friendly and gentle doorman and Carlos(Porter). Aside from that, Stonehenge is the worst. They don't care about their residents or give them a quality living experience. I would never recommend this apartment!!!!! read more

Five stars to the gracious and professional staff at West 89th. I will miss them. But the apartment itself is bad value for the insanely high rent. The venting for the unit, in the windowless kitchen, is terrifically noisy. It shuts down at night, leaving the apartment super stuffy and VERY hot and dry in the winter, when the heat blasts all night. My bathroom usually smells of someone else's cigarettes (smoking is permitted). Windows filthy. The halls are kept very clean, but they're hot and smell stale in summer due to poor (maybe no?) ventilation. On the plus side: Over the last year, I've seen only one roach. Neighbors are quiet. Dogs more than welcome. Laundry is clean. Location A+. read more

I have lived at 108 W15 Street for 45 years. I moved in when I was 20 years old in 1975 as a college student. Today I will not go into the basement because the superintendent is filthy and disgusting and refuses to maintain the trash and recyclables throughout the day. Trash is strewn on the hallway floors, the laundry room machines are dirty as is the floor. The elevator carpet was recently removed because he refuses to vacuum it and moving carpets are hanging now for five straight days making the elevator smell dirty and completely darkens it. The building managers seemingly cannot make this guy do the work and basically ignore my complaints. Two years ago, the basement was crawling with roaches and waterbugs, the elevator shaft, elevator, laundry room and trash chute filled. I took pictures of the trash everywhere and sent it to the manager Crystal and her response was, I had no idea? It took her six long weeks to simply exterminate the building. SIX WEEKS! The hallways and stairs are almost never washed. The super only cleans when he knows management is arriving to look at the building. Every Wednesday and Saturday night, the trash is overflowing onto the basement floor because management is so ineffective. Welcome to Stonehenge NYC. This building has never been in such a filthy unorganized state until Stonehenge bought it. They need to fire the existing manager and superintendent and hire honorable people with a heart and a soul who are grateful to be responsible for the quality of life of the tenants, not in the budget however. read more

We can't take work meetings anymore from gone due to how often the construction happens. It is seemingly never going to stop. They've said it was going to stop at least half a dozen times over the last few months. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM IF THEY TELL YOU CONSTRUCTION IS TEMPORARY. IT IS NOT. We feel trapped in this lease from hell we can't escape. If you have any other choice for an apartment or management company AT ALL. Take it. Thank me later. I moved into Stonehenge this year after living in buildings run by other large management companies (Bettina, Stellar, etc.) and I couldn't have been happier about my choice! My building extremely centrally located (the CE / 1 / NRW / BD line are extremely close) and it makes getting around the city very easy. The staff is also AMAZING - they are extremely responsive and will frequently get things fixed within a few hours of putting in a request. Additionally, the Stonehenge app makes it easier to communicate with other residents to get suggestions (e.g., good nanny / dog walker, etc.) and get / giveaway furniture, etc. When I had an issue when I moved in, Albert (our super) called me personally to make sure everything was resolved and clearly outlined a plan to make sure I could get maintenance whenever needed. I would heartily recommend living here to anyone is looking to create a home in NYC. read more

Sadly, A and E took over the building and since then it's been downhill. I only just moved in January -and I've had huge cockroaches -the windows don't fit the frames -so gaps and drafts -making comfortable temperature control impossible-and the noisy neighbors upstairs -after 11pm--like a frat house -but management refuses to have them comply with 80 percent carpet rule. Management lied to me. Said floor is covered 80 per event but I saw neighbors apt it's 40 percent only with a thin cloth tapestry! read more

We moved into the Ritz Plaza in 2015 and it's our first home since we relocated to New York. We've been here since 4 years and have had the most amazing experience. The management team is very accessible, professional and always willing to help. They host several events through the year which is open to tenants and friends. We've great rapport with the concierge and all the other staff ; their hospitality and warmth is what enhances the experience. The building is super convenient to subways, supermarkets, central park and hell's kitchen. Though we do bump into the tourist crowd from times square and the proximity to all the shows, the overall pros are much higher. read more

I've been living in one of Stonehenge NYC's buildings (the Ritz Plaza) for 15 months now. Absolutely love it! Friendly doormen make me feel welcome everyday I come home. I used to live in a 10-story old building on 51st street (which is 3 just blocks away from the Ritz Plaza). I love the easy commute and the energy of this neighborhood, but the building I lived in was old and noisy. I thought that was the best apartment I could afford in the area. Until my friend recommended the Ritz Plaza.. 15 months passed, I still come home feeling happy that I signed the lease. (I'm on 16th, and facing 49th street though, might be noisier if facing 48th since there's a fire station on the corner of 48th and 8th Ave.) read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH STONEHENGE MANAGEMENT. I am a resident of Stonehenge 58. On Saturday, March 28, I was leaving my apartment on the 7th floor of the building to meet my dad in the lobby. I got in the elevator and when the door closed behind me something in the elevator door malfunctioned and the door would not fully close. There was about an inch of space between the elevator door being fully closed and where the door got jammed. Accordingly, I couldn't get out of the elevator because there was not enough space, but the door would not re-open. The elevator would not move. I called my dad and asked him to tell the doorman of the building that I was stuck in the elevator. A few minutes later the building super and one of the porters came up and tried to fix the door with some tools but after about 25 minutes they still hadn't fixed it. It became clear that the elevator door has gotten jammed before and that the building personnel are usually able to fix it themselves, but that this time they could not get it open. Eventually, they called the fire department to come. Several firefighters then came and used an airbag to force the door open. In all I was stuck in the elevator for almost an hour. Under normal circumstances this situation would be frightening, but it was even more stressful because of heightened anxiety due to the ongoing Pandemic. When I was finally able to get out of the elevator, there were several people (including several firefighters and neighbors) in the small confines of the hallway, which caused us to break all sorts of 6-foot social distancing rules. Later on in the day I received an email from the Director of Property Management at Stonehenge stating that he had heard what happened with the elevator and apologizing. I wrote back explaining that it caused me great concern and requesting a concession on my April rent. I later received emails both from a Stonehenge Leasing Agent saying that "we are unable to offer you a rent concession at this time." I also received an email from the Director of Property Management stating the same. I have been a Stonehenge resident for the past 6 years (first at 1080 Amsterdam and now in Stonehenge 58). I have never made any request of the management company. I find it incredibly disappointing and a bad business practice that after this incident all that Stonehenge could offer was an apology. I will certainly not be getting back in the elevator for the remainder of my time at Stonehenge 58. To be absolutely clear, this review is not directed at any of the personnel who work in Stonehenge 58. They handled the situation extremely well and I am grateful to the super and porter who came to my aid right away. This review is directed towards Stonehenge Management. read more

I have been with Stonehenge for the last 3 years and their friendly staff and amenities make it hard to leave. They just changed over the leasing agent to Geraldine and she has made this year's renewal process so much more pleasant than before. She is really willing to work with you on your concerns and is extremely prompt. The buildings are also very well maintained and any maintenance requests are taken care of promptly. Been living in 20 Park since 11/9, had many issues such as no hot water, flooding appliances, damage caused by superintendent. Management company is a joke and simply fobs me off and does nothing. Don't be fooled, Stonehenge management are nice to begin, with but do nothing when problems they don't understand or want to admit to occur. No hot water In my bathroom since day one. I've been living at Ritz Plaza for almost two years now. The management company (Stonehenge NYC) is very professional. They keep all the public facilities maintained on a regular basis, e.g., elevators, gym, swimming pool, roof deck, etc. Whenever we run into any facility problems in the apartment, be it sink clogged or lights out, we just open a maintenance request ticket through the online system and Stonehenge will send people to fix it within 24 hours. The doormen are among the kindest people I've known in the city. For the above reasons, I recommend Stonehenge NYC. read more

Awful management. They've been ignoring my calls and emails regarding referral promotion that's overdue 5 months(still haven't paid me yet). They say they'll get back to me and I had to follow up myself a little over a month. And they kept pushing the responsibility to someone else and wanted me to contact a different person each time. I wouldn't have been this upset if they just followed up when it didn't work out on time. Moreover, I've been living with loud construction noise for half my lease here, while I had to work from home. We would've reconsidered signing with this place if we were notified anytime before or during the signing but they decided to leave out the fact that major construction will take up half of our lease. I have emailed them about this and they argue they have let us know even though there are no written proof (because we've never communicated over the phone or in person so it's all been done through email). The people working here (maintenance and doorman) are wonderful hardworking people, very jarring from the management. It's given me more headache than I expected, so if anyone is looking for a place, think twice before you sign with stonehenge. read more

I lived for 3 years at 1080 Amsterdam and had a wonderful experience! The doormen were all amazing and made coming home each day a joy and Stonehenge does a great job building a community. I attended many of the (free!) events that they host including a wine and paint night, Bingo and Wine Down Wednesdays on some of their gorgeous terraces. We moved in to the Ritz Plaza almost a year ago and have absolutely loved our time here! The doormen, maintenance, and leasing staff have all been extremely friendly and helpful. It's great to be greeted by name and with a smile when you walk in the door after a long day. The amenities are also fantastic and we have thoroughly enjoyed the community events. Stonehenge has far exceeded my expectations for a management company and I am sad to have to leave due to a job relocation.
