Duck taco, chicken wrap, garlic bread, meatball in marinara, hummus

Honestly, I didn't know what to expect here but I was pleasantly surprised! The gambling hall was clean and really well decorated. It wasn't rowdy on crowded on a Wednesday evening. Busy but not overly so. There were plenty of tables. I noticed the minimum bids were $10-$15 in some cases. There was also a huge bar and restaurant area to hang out in. We came for a private event in the back area beyond the red curtain. There was a golf simulator in the back. It was fun watching others take a swing. Food was catered from the kitchen. Everything was solid. My favorite was the chicken wings - not crispy necessarily but fried and had a good dry rub that had some hot pepper spice. I was not a big fan of the duck tacos. Very small, and the duck flavor was not super prominent, although maybe that's a good thing for some. The bar was busy, lots of (single?) men, some hanging out in small groups. The bartenders were busy but we got our orders in after a short wait. We noticed some people eating at the bar and their menu looks extensive! Someone was having a bowl of pho next to someone else eating a pizza. We love the variety!

Amazing venue for a bday party or large gathering. Sammy's restaurant has great food and drinks and the service is great. Large private room with dedicated servers for your party, and golf simulator if wanted! Big thanks to the manager Kam for his EXCELLENT service and communication. If you book a party there, ask for Kam. Thanks again for the great experience.

This is our 2nd time here. It's right off the freeway so it's the perfect spot to meet our friends from Roseville. It's almost exactly half way. We arrived on Thursday at 5:30 pm and got a parking spot out front. Due to the amount of people they also have an overflow lot to the side. There were plenty of booths available for dinner. We made reservations lost time, but didn't need to either time. They don't even put a reserved sign on the tables so reservations don't really work. We arrived before 6 so we were on time for happy hour. $2 off drinks and 50% off bites. We both ordered a pizza to share with out spouse and both ended up with a piece to take home. It made a great lunch for the next day. The crust was perfect and the pizza flavorful. We got the roasted Brussels Sprouts and loved them and they got a full priced Caesar salad which I had last time and loved. It's a huge portion, enough for 2 plus. Due to the location, plenty of seating and parking we'll be back.

We were invited by Stones to come try their brand new golf simulator room. What I love about this room is that it is completely private and you have the room to yourself and your guests. It is pretty spacious with a huge screen, a small lounge area with couches and tables, and a convenient bar area in the back to eat and hang out. They also provide 2 sets of clubs for you to use to accommodate both right-handed players as well as left-handed players. The simulation itself is amazing - it's great quality, the screen is huge and the experience was very fun. The staff were very attentive, professional and provided amazing service. Their food is wonderful - I really enjoyed the wings and the pizza and the duck tacos are DELICIOUS. This golf simulator room is great to host small, intimate groups, corporate team events, date night, or just to come and play with friends. Thank you Stones, for hosting us and allowing us to experience your wonderful new golf simulator! As someone who loves golf, I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend others to experience it.

Destiny was fantastic, loved her energy. What a great experience for my wife and I are who are new to golf and didn't want to cook in the 95+ degree weather. Private, clean, and outstanding tech. Our first time there and we'll definitely be back. Recommend you bring your own clubs the house equipment is fine for the right-handed men but only a couple clubs for the right-handed ladies.

Garbage casino, the security team at the door has a very poor service attitude, successfully blocking my interest, and I won't come again.

The woman at the desk was very friendly and said she could check me in early free of early check in charge if I didn't mind the first floor. I stated I had no preference of floor and that would be fine. The woman handed me to slips of paper. One was for breakfast in the morning. She told me to fill it out and return it to front desk by 11pm. Breakfast would be in a bag ready for me at time selected. Nice breakfast selection. Had oatmeal, bagel, breakfast sandwich, fruit, juice, coffee. The second slip was for housekeeping. I was told since I was staying 4 days, I got 2 cleaning days. One was full room clean service and 2nd was a light cleaning. Not sure what the difference was but since I checked in Sunday, I chose Tuesday full clean and Wednesday light cleaning day. I checked out Thursday. I go to my room and it was nice. It's a bit outdated but I loved the full kitchen in the room. I had a large black widow on the wall when I got to my room. I removed then spider and don't blame that on the hotel as there is a gap under the bedroom door it most likely came from. It was cold so I went to turn the heater on. The problem was the heater was under a window and the window had long curtains hanging over the heater/AC. When I turned it on it would blow the curtains over my bed and it was quite annoying, so I had to pin the curtains out of the way of the heater by using furniture in the room. The toilet seat in the bathroom was a bit gross. It was peeling and looked as if it had been repaired with some epoxy or something. A new toilet seat can't cost that much. The bed was ok. It was a little lopsided in one side. Wasn't too uncomfortable tho. I left and went to lunch. When i returned i heard a dog barking in an adjacent room. I didn't realize this was a dog friendly hotel. I love dogs but did not appreciate the barking during the day. I was not told that when I checked in that the first floor was dog friendly. If I knew that I wouldn't have accepted my room on the first floor when I was offered early check in. I went to work on Tuesday morning. It was supposed to be the day of full room cleaning. I returned later in the evening after 5pm. The room was not touched. No clean up, no bed made, no garbage taken out, no towels, no toilet paper. I went to the front desk and there were two workers there having a private convo. I sat at the desk a min and a man said we will be right with you. They continued to have a private convo. Finally a woman came out and I told her my room was never cleaned and I chose Tuesday for cleaning. She apologized and said housekeeping was gone for then day, I told her that was ok if they can clean it tomorrow that would be great. She was friendly and asked if she could get me anything like towels, blankets, etc, I said no tomorrow would be fine. She said she would make sure I got a full cleaning in the morning. I went to work Wednesday morning and upon return I noticed my room was never cleaned once again. I was kinda peeved that I stayed 4 days and not a single cleaning, I had a full trash can, almost ran out of toilet paper and bed had not been changed or made up. I didn't even bother complaining about this as I was checking out the next day. My company paid for my stay so there was nothing to gain for me by complaining. I found this to be unacceptable. It needs an update, lots of dogs barking in first floor, they had a large delivery outside my room window on Wednesday at 1215am-1am lots of banging noises and hydraulic Lyft noises from the truck. I left Thursday morning very disappointed and unrested. People were great but unfortunately hotel protocol sucks as far as housekeeping and noise after 10pm. I will not stay here again.

Heartbreaking Experience as a Disabled Senior…read more I am a 73-year-old disabled woman with neurological and physical disabilities. I arrived at this hotel after a long, exhausting drive, feeling dizzy, weak, and unwell. I clearly explained my disabilities and asked for an ADA-accessible room so I could safely take a shower and rest. Instead, I was put in a $160 King suite that was not accessible. There were no grab bars in the bathroom. Because I was so exhausted, I didn't realize it at first. When I did, I broke down. It meant I would have to go yet another day without bathing. By that point, I had gone three days without a proper shower and was wearing the same clothes. I felt embarrassed, helpless, and dehumanized. When I spoke to the day manager, Andrew, he admitted I was not in an accessible room. He told me they only had two ADA rooms and both were occupied. Rather than trying to help me find a solution, offering relocation, or letting me use an accessible shower, he offered me $25 off my room. I asked if that was supposed to make up for being unable to clean myself. He had no response. At the time, I was recovering from my third elbow surgery and have balance problems. I was in pain and barely steady on my feet. Still, I had to pack all my belongings by myself and leave to find another hotel that would treat me with dignity. The only thing offered to me was two bottles of water that should have been given at check-in. No elderly or disabled person should ever be made to feel this invisible and unsupported. This experience was heartbreaking and traumatic for me. If you are disabled, elderly, or have mobility or balance issues, please be very careful about staying here. Accessibility and compassion are clearly lacking.

There was an issue with the room's door lock, and while it was being worked on they immediately offered me a snack and water. When they felt the delay was taking too long, they didn't hesitate to move me to another room. I was on a conference call and wasn't in a rush at all, but they were incredibly apologetic and clearly went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of and happy. That level of customer service really stood out. As for the room, the furnishings are more lower- to mid-tier for what you'd expect from a Holiday Inn, but I was genuinely impressed with how clean everything was upon check-in. Overall, the service alone makes this place a standout.

It is wise to step outside your environment and, in the case of this current venture, go visit an Alpaca farm. The Menagerie Hill ranch has beautiful animals. The host was awesome and knowledgeable. I recommend this unique experience for all because if you do not just break your usual pattern to stop and smell the roses or to pet and feed an Alpaca, life will pass by before you know it.
