The kids seem to enjoy the lessons and learn well. 2. They actually practice the techniques one-on-one, even the white belts look capable of defending themselves. Minus: 1. The owner's wife brings her baby to the gym and lets them roam around. This creates distractions and hazards for the baby, the instructors, and the students. When the baby was in the way of practice, the lady warned the instructor to watch out for the baby, instead of picking her up. They could create an office or a safe area for the baby to stay out of harm's way and avoid being stepped on or kicked accidentally. 2. The instructor/professor seems to let students interrupt them unnecessarily during lessons or instructions. It makes the class chaotic, because some kids trying to get the instructor's attention by clamoring them. They need to instill respectful behavior towards the professor and the class during class time. 3. The price is higher than our kid's current BJJ gym. Additionally, we're obligated to buy their uniforms, which are quite pricey. They also charge $100 for promotions. At our current BJJ gym, we're not required to buy their uniforms and only pay a monthly fee.

The communication of dates, details, and info with this location is not very clear. We pre-paid a one time fee for the year and once it expired we decided not to continue. I emailed requesting confirmation of what our membership expiration date was and never received a response in writing. I was told the "system" emailed me regarding the payment extending but I did not receive it as maybe it went to spam/junk etc. I was very surprised that they automatically started charging us $280 monthly for 2 months after our membership expired without written authorization from us even though we had never been on a monthly payment plan. Luckily, I noticed it on my credit card account and was able to stop further payments but they will not take off the charges which is disappointing. In many occasions I have seen five or six-year-old kids who have their black belt, and not sure exactly how that happened. But let me make this clear, this is a good thing... I don't want my son to be handed colored belts simply because were paying checks. I want him to know how to defend himself, live healthy and show others respect. And this location and the Sansai are just downright amazing. As I was saying, these kids work and they work hard! They spend the better part of half of the class doing drills and practicing and the other half of the class is straight up calisthenics! When was the last time you saw kids having to do calisthenics at school? I'm talking Burpee's... I'm talking push ups... Sit ups... Crunches... You name it and they are helping these kids get healthy and stronger while learning the pros of martial arts. As far as the facility goes, it's great... It's in a public shopping center in Lake Nona and super easy to get to with lots of parking no complaints there. The facility is also very clean at all times and offers really nice quality uniform those T-shirts and accessories needed for class, But I must say everything is extremely reasonably priced. I believe I paid $10 for my sons T-shirt so that you could wear one in Lou of his karate uniform jacket under in the summer. I don't know when the last time someone only charged me $10 for T-shirt was, because I'm fairly certain Tommy Bahama did not sell me a shirt for $10 and it's a pretty good deal. So in conclusion if you got kids or if you're in adult and you want to get your butt in gear and learn some martial arts this place is awesome and I think, no I know that you will love this joint!

Other packages available if you want to do payment plans. She really enjoyed the class. But I'll wait until she gets a little older.
