He's incredibly kind, respectful, and easy to get along with, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the people who stay here. It's hard to find someone who's as approachable and dependable as he is. We've had a wonderful experience living here, and a big part of that is because of Travis and the way he runs the park. The owner goes around making up rules harassing people when he drives through multiple times a day. Somehow they keep deleting peoples honest reviews as well. The owner doesn't like kids. I've seen him try to kick two people out that had their kids visiting for a weekend. Threatens to evict with all made up and legitimate rules. He even demands people to unlock their sheds so he can go through them (even after dark long after hours).Customer service and professionalism is not there. If I could leave a lower review I would. I have been staying in a cabin here for 3 months now, and don't have one negative thing to say about the place. There are people who have left negative reviews about this place, but it's just because they were unwilling to abide by the rules and show simple respect for the peace and quiet of their neighbors. Travis and Joe do an exceptional job at groundskeeping. The place is very well manicured. Had a little problem with termites one day in my cabin. Called Travis. Him and Joe were there within 20 minutes spraying. Problem was instantly resolved. And Miss Arlene, who works in the office, is an absolute sweetheart. The staff here are all very friendly and helpful. This place is very tranquil and serene. Everyone has respect for one another. If you're looking for a place to come party and make all kinds of noise, don't come here. This is a laid-back peaceful community. It feels like a little slice of heaven to me. And the prices here are lower than other nearby RV Parks. We're only a mile down the road from Lake Marion. I love to walk the Old 301 Bridge and experience the resplendent sunsets, or fish off it with my daughter. I have stayed at quite a few RV parks, and this one is by far the best in every way. I highly recommend that anyone with an RV, looking to stay in the Lake Marion area, come experience the natural beauty and quiet relaxation of The Carolina King Stop N Fish. read more

We stayed five months full time with theses folks. No complaints whatsoever. We were at the deep water side and there are just a handful of sites there. Very private and beautiful!! read more
