Really, everything in this shop makes you say something along the lines of: 'That's lovely.' Sometimes I go in just to look, wander around, and look some more. Occasionally I might even try something on. Now, please don't get me wrong; I think that the quality of these clothes is absolutely worth the price tags attached to them. The detailing and materials used are beautiful, once I fell in love with a jumper just for its lining. And the staff are so lovely and polite that you don't feel too bad just browsing. The layout of the Cardiff store is very well done, and they use the extra window space in the Royal Arcade to great advantage. White Stuff, I think, is what Fat Face used to be. So go in, look around, enjoy the pretty. You might even go so far as to buy something!

I'd probably describe the clothes as a little but hippy or maybe bohemian is the word I'm after, or mabye its just beachy! My problem is that it would be great if only we had nice hot summers when we could actually wear this stuff! Personally the clothes are a little bit more than I usually pay but they do feel good quality. If I was going on holiday this summer i'd check it out for some comfy beach wear but really its nothing new or or that different from any other shops. Today I was seen by Lilly for fitting, she was spot on with the kind of bra I needed, I told her issues I often encounter with my bras and found the perfect bra very quickly giving me loads of similar options. She was just great at not being pushy and overwhelming but also being there, listening to me and respecting my privacy. Also a note to the cashier (young lady with long braids) was really lovely and friendly. Congratulations to Bravissimo u have the best staff set I've met.

And if you're a six foot three bloke with that haggard look in your eyes that says "why have you brought me here?!", you tend to stick out like a giant, awkward sore thumb. There's an affliction that is common to shopping with a ladyfriend that is known to us men as They Don't Have What I Want So Now I'm Angry At You Syndrome. It's an affliction that takes the lives of several dozen men a year, as they are bombarded with stilettos coupled with screams of "I ASKED FOR LIGHT CREAM, NOT DIRTY WHITE! GRAGGGH!" However, shops like Bravissimo should be applauded. They take the pain out of TDHWIWSNIAAY Syndrome by stocking very, very specific sizes. If you're in their band, they've got what you need ensuring no more men have to suffer the wrath of a disappointed ladyfriend.

This branch is quite a big store, very close to GAP and Apple on the upper floor of St David's mall. the store is over two floors with most women's clothing being on the ground floor and men and children's being on the upper floor. Going into the store, it is quite nice, bright and welcoming and it does need to do this to stand out with the other larger stores on the top of St David's mall, which does include GAP, Nike and Apple. The selection here is mediocre, it isn't great and some of the stuff here, I wouldn't even call fashion, everything just seemed average, even the staff were nothing more than satisfactory. The store does have free-wifi which was pretty useful. The store deserves a middle two star rating based on comments raised above.

I thought I was in a 'Back to the future' movie with the amount of garish coloured high tops on display, yuk. I really couldn't like much in there as the products all screamed of desperate pleas to look at the owner, I don't like statement clothing. The layout was pretty cool though and reminded of a woodeny interior much like the shops of Camden I frequented back in the land I was born. Everything seemed fairly over priced for what they were too and in general found it a waste of my time. Staff were cool though.

This bothers me a little bit, as I usually have a shoe radar that drags me automatically to the nearest shoe shop. I'm blaming this mostly on the fact that the store is unfortunately located now that St David's 2 has taken over, and that it doesn't look that inviting with its black sign, fairly dull window displays and dim interior. But inside it was much better. The shoes are displayed around the edge of this small store, so everything is clear and easy to see. I also really liked the huge tyre as a seat in the middle of the store, though, while it looks good, it's not so comfy to sit on. A nice selection of the usual popular brands, and pretty much the same price as everywhere else, but personally I think that Office and Schuh are much, much better.

When you're wandering along Queen Street towards the castle and you hear rock and alternative music blaring out of a shop ahead of you, you know you're approaching Blue Banana. Definitely aimed at a very young and niche market.

The sign in the window says that they have 'something for everyone' and that definitely is the case. I'm a fan of more retro looking pieces and there are great chairs that look like they've come fresh from the set of a clockwork orange. They also sell flooring, and electrical goods so you can head there in favor of one of the bigger chain stores if you're furnishing a house. Some items can be a little pricey but it's worth having a look to see if you can find something interesting to suit your budget.
