Halfway thru the unit we discovered wet boxes and large amounts of rodent feces on the floor. A suitcase that was only placed in storage a few months ago was totally soaked. I have just been informed by corporate manager "laura" out of orlando that Uhaul sprays for rats/mice. Evidently Uhaul not only doesnt care about their customers, they dont care about their health either. No one expects to go to their indoor storage unit and have it be a health risk. I was told i would not be compensated for any items lost, nor would Uhaul be hiring any kind of professional exterminator. Luckily I took pictures and have several witnesses all willing to give statements. I have filed a formal complaint with Dept of Agriculture and sent pictures and documents to them. Please stay away from this place. The health risk alone just isnt worth it. Once i have spoken with my lawyer again i will be posting pictures online if it is possible

The manager,Trish went above and beyond to make my experience with uhaul acceptable…read more It all started when I rented a 5x8 trailer from uhaul; uhaul sent me An email confirming my reservation and to pick it up at storage King; when i picked it up, uhaul upgraded Me to a bigger trailer for the same price without asking me and without checking if my truck is capable of towing it, which it couldn't. Then uhaul sent me to another storage facility, which when I arrived, it was closed. I tried to call uhaul 4x and they keep on transferring me and putting me on hold. So I went back to storage King, rented a truck, instead of a trailer. Trish the manager was helping me to call uhaul a few times and was very apologetic about the situation. The next day, she Even called me to follow up and tell me that uhaul refunded me 50$ for the ordeal. Now that's what you call customer service! Thank you very much.

We constantly complained that we saw rat droppings in our units and were told nothing could be done. I received one email regarding the late notice and fully paid my account online. Went to access my unit and found it was still locked after the payment was made because there are no managers on site, even though they have their hours listed on the door. I spoke with the customer service person on the phone and asked for some sort of compensation for the late fee and being unable to access my unit and my request was declined. Also, after signing up, my rent doubled exactly on the six month mark. So know that will happen when you sign up. Update - after hearing about my situation, the company credited me back the late fee and for the days that my unit was locked.
