I am currently working on improving my deutsch so it is not perfect, but the ladies were willing to speak English and were also talkative and showed genuine interest in their clients. Unlike the awkward silence I've found at the nail shop in Skyline Plaza and elsewhere. Call me spoiled, but having grown up in friendly California, I thrive on good customer service and I am glad I was able to find that here plus get my nails done in an amazing way. I was doing mani and pedi with shellac, so I got two people working on me at the same time - this was good. Everything else - unacceptable. 1) it does not look like they clean and disinfect their working tools, I did not see from where the guy brought his metal box, there was just his name on top and instruments did not appear clean to me at all 2) while the guy was working on my nails' shape, he damaged my little finger skin and guess what? Sprayed alcohol on top! As if i feel no pain?! 3) the place looks dirty inside, you will not chill while staying there 4) my both masters were constantly staring at TV instead of my nails, so I was afraid they'd injure me and they did! Apart form my little finger, the pedicure lady constantly scratched my foot side skin, you know much upper than the heel, where skin is sensitive 5) I asked for French manicure, and it is the first time in my experience that I have actual bumps where white part of the nail should appear, like I have a white hill on every nail! So if you go there, do not ask for french, they cannot do it clean and nice 6) on top of all of these, they do not accept cards, not just credit cards! Even EC cards are not accepted. So, if they work just with cash, is this business even legal? I gently offered to go get cash to the nearest Geldautomat (aka ATM), they wanted me to give them my passport or ID so I do not run away with their precious nails, and all of this was communicated to me as if I was some sort of a thief! They even said - they want to go with me to ATM! Can you believe this? I had to leave my home keys with them so they let me go to get cash! I hope they do not break to where I live NEVER AGAIN TO THIS PLACE!!!

One of the few nail salons in town which offers powder acrylic and not only the gel (which is more expensive so the nail technician really tried to sell it to me despite my clear objection- I have nails for years and I've found that the gel doesn't last as long and hold as strong). Looks clean and professional. I called there the same morning and set an appointment for later that day. People there were not too friendly or offered coffee or something. Girls were all Vietnamese and didn't talk to me at all except to ask how would like my nails and trying to sell me the gel, but it's fine. Tips: 1. describe exactly what you want for your nails (in german). My German isn't perfect and I wasn't completely understood. 2. Set an appointment before you drop by. 3. Add a flower to a nail or two, not too costly and made me very happy. 4. Don't forget to tip the mail technician. Enjoy
