I love a great burger & fries #stormburger didn't disappoint today. The food is cooked to order, there's drive thru also walk up. The only thing l didn't like is there's no outside seating other than that the customer service was great the staff was super friendly & helpful. I will definitely return the prices are good..

Yes!!! It was delicious! I went through the drive thru and that was easy and fast. Food was hot when I got home. I ordered a double cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, turkey burger, fries and onion rings. Everything was good!!! We will be back again. I highly recommend it.

I came on a weekday hoping to get some fast food for dinner but it became more of a long detour. It took about an hour from arrival to receiving my food. It seemed that there needs to be improvement in time efficiency. The drive through line was being manned by 4-5 people and in the pickup area there was 3 people. I'm not sure how many people they have cooking, but it was very laid back. Honestly, I wanted to not like Stormburgers food, but dang.. this place hits. Not only are the burgers solid (tried the Jalepeno Lightning) but the fries and onion rings are fried to perfection. I probably won't be coming here after a long shift, but for sure would have this again (if I can avoid a line.)

I've been to this location twice; once when they first opened and again recently. The first time, we waited in the drive-thru line for an hour. The parking lot is fairly small, so although it looked like there were a lot of people, it really wasn't that busy. When we finally got to the pickup window, the worker handed us our food with her back turned, which was very rude. I also realized afterward that another worker was giving out coupons for free food, but we didn't receive one. During my recent visit, the line had died down, and we got our food within five minutes. I mentioned that during their grand opening week I had waited an hour and didn't receive a coupon. The worker said, "Oh, let me get you one; please drive forward." Then another worker approached us and said they didn't have any more, and rudely asked if we had everything we needed in our order. Again, no apology. Just another rude interaction. Both times, I ordered the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, and I really enjoyed it. The bun is soft, the fried onions are crispy, and you can taste the bacon in every bite. The patty is flavorful, but on the drier side, which some people may not like, but I personally do. The onion rings are also good, but $4.99 for a small serving (about seven pieces) is overpriced. The fries are good as well, lightly seasoned and crispy. Overall, the food is good, but the customer service definitely needs improvement.

So, my family lives around the corner and they have been waiting for the hype to go down so I coaxed my sis to walk up there. It was a wait, but not bad. We ate our food, but was it sensational, it was aight. Was it pricey, well it was what to he expected... Check out my photos for the visuals. Line was packed on Sunday night. Highly recommend to just park in another lot and walk up to the window and order. We waited 15 minutes for our food versus the hours we could've waited in that drive thru line. The burgers and sandwiches were all great here. I cannot understand how this place makes a profit by keeping these prices so low and quality so high. Kudos to the owners for figuring it out. All items were great here. The deluxe chicken sandwich was the only photo I got. Chicken was crispy and the sauce was delicious. Bbq Bacon cheese burger was incredible too. Very flavorful and had a lot of different textures to make it exciting. Love storm burger and really really advise you to just park instead of going through the drive thru.

I had the most amazing experience at StormBurger. This is my kind of burger joint, 10/10 all around. Don't be intimidated by the long lines, they moved us through quickly. The double cheeseburger was full of flavor, perfectly greasy and cheesy without being sloppy, just an all around great classic cheeseburger. The fries were fresh and crispy, and the chicken tenders were crispy and really good as well. The strawberry lemonade was sweet and seriously so nice and refreshing. Ooh, and I was ecstatic to be given a sample of their chocolate shake. She saw my excitement as I chugged it down and was kind enough to give me a second one. 10/10 customer service. Cool music and vibes even for a drive thru. I need more StormBurger in my life!!

Finally got a taste of this smash burger :) Line wasn't too hectic on a Sunday afternoon. Menu was handed to once you pull in the drive through lane. I went with the double classic combo. Didn't have to wait to long to get the food. Everything I ordered was in there. Took a bite of the burger and it was good. Fries a bit salty to my liking. Peach tea was fine, not too sweet. All in all the burger is delicious. I believe going with the combo is a little pricey. Stick to the burger and you'll be good.

I tried this establishment for the first time on 4/4/26 in the evening. The drive thru line was unimaginable, thank goodness for the online ordering option. There are approximately 5 companies you can choose from to place your online order with no fee. The wait time ordering online was about 15 minutes vs 30 + minutes in the drive thru.. Per armed security we had to find a parking spot on the street, which we did and walked over to the pickup window. I ordered a turkey burger $9.99, and a double classic storm burger combo with a strawberry lemonade. $15.49. There is an up charge for the strawberry lemonade of $2. I wasn't expecting 2 juicy turkey patties on my sandwich. The bread was fresh and delicious! The burger was delicious and juicy also. I ordered the fries "no salt"and unfortunately they were salted. *I took off a star due to the salt on the fries* The lemonade was very sweet but adding water fixed that and it was perfect. Overall the food was good. Everyone seemed to be on their best behavior waiting patiently. Music was being played on speakers and lots of people watching. They probably should have opted for a bigger location with parking and the ability to handle 2 drive through lanes with ease. I forgot to get a picture of the double classic storm burger and fries.

Maybe it was just so hyped up, maybe it was because we got it delivered and the burgers were ice cold. Either way, it was not what we had hoped for. We ordered the spicy chicken deluxe, jalapeño burger, two, single patty classics, onion rings and fries. Onion rings were the stand out item, the only thing that was warm, surprisingly. They had great crunch and flavor, super yummy. Spicy chicken deluxe had a nice crunch but the slaw was too sweet it overpowered everything; I did not enjoy. The classic smashburgers were very cold but I could forgive that since, as I mentioned, it was delivered. Regardless, the patty wasn't juicy or flavorful and neither was the cheese. At least the lettuce, tomatoes and onions were very fresh! Jalapeño burger was ok. I'm not a fan of Swiss cheese. I would give them a second chance maybe, but I'd go in to check out the place in person and I think I'd only try the classic burger again, hopefully it's better fresh. From the outside, the building looks cute and clean and the parking lot is usually pretty busy.

My kids highly recommended I try StormBurger because I love a great Smashburger. This joint replaced an old churches chicken. It's right on the corner of south and Cherry and the heart of North Long Beach. I really enjoyed the look and feel of the logo and colors that they use. They have walk up windows to order if you don't want to hit the drive-through, but parking is limited. They opened at 11:30am and I got there 15 minutes after to find the parking and drive-through packed. When I arrived a fire truck parked right in front and loaded their whole crew to order lunch. Despite the craziness, they had a very cool security officer who was directing the traffic and he was doing an amazing job. There are two lanes for the drive-through and I commend the managers for having the workers outside with tablets taking orders to keep the drive-through flowing smoothly. The line took about 20 minutes, but I also know that there was a difficult customer ahead of me that was unsure of their order. Other than that, they were as organized as can be. As soon as I hit the window, my order was ready. We ordered two combos of their western bacon barbecue burgers with a side of fries and onion rings and their strawberry lemonade. I ordered a classic cheeseburger. The kids had me asked for thunder sauce, and when I asked the worker what it was, she described it as an apricot habanero and let me tell you, it's fire! So good! I really enjoyed the classic cheeseburger. It was exactly that, a classic cheeseburger with all the flavors. The strawberry lemonade is so fresh and taste homemade, the strawberries in the lemonade were perfect. Their fries and onion rings are pretty classic and traditional. Unfortunately, one of us wasn't able to finish their burger because we found a big black piece of garment thread in it, but when I message the restaurant via IG and let them know about it, they seem sincere and apologized. I just wanted them to know so that they were aware. Things happen! I'll have to go back and order something different next time. I see they have chicken sandwiches I want to try.

Good crunchy onion ring! But I think the portions are small. I got 7 onion rings. I recommend to give customers more size options. Thank you for your consideration.

I was so excited to try!! Unfortunately, not what we expected. We waited 50 minutes in line for our order. When we finally got to the window, we received our food order, which was incorrect. We had to ask for a missing fry and ranch sauce. I wasn't to upset, until I actually got home and tried the burger. I ordered a double storm burger with bacon ( sounds good right). No it was actually already cold (I litterly live 2 min away) and a bit bland. I won't be coming back anytime soon. Hopefully, when I do come back, they improve!!! Do better StormBurger!! I've eaten at their Inglewood location so when I heard they were opening up another location in Long Beach I was excited that I no longer have to make the drive through LA traffic. They are not open yet in Long Beach, but they do have their food truck in the parking lot of their soon to be location. I had to visit the food truck as I wanted their chicken sandwich and it hit. Their menu is limited for now. There are not too many parking spots since the truck takes up most of the parking lot, but they do fulfill orders fast so parking spaces do open up. They have some tables and chairs set up if you want to eat there, but we took ours to go as it was loud with all the cars passing by. I can't wait until they open their physical location and start serving their full menu with milkshakes. I'll be back once they fully open. read more

Came here to support new local spot. I have driven past few times and discouraged by the long double line. Security is there to help direct traffic for a smooth experience. Staff is really friendly. The food was fresh and very good. The onion rings are above average and very crisp and crunchy and seasoned well. All the burgers are about a standard size. The apricot spicy sauce is good but caution if eating in your car..very runny. The downside is there is no where to park and eat. You must take it to go. Advice-Park your car and walk up. The gas prices are too high to sit in a car for 40 mins on a Sunday afternoon. They are very gracious and offer free shake samples while waiting. The staff are nice for standing in the smoldering heat on black asphalt. This is tough and so I hope they speed up their production to make it go faster. read more

Not that it's a competition, but this location's food is so much more flavorful than Inglewood! The service here is A-1 and despite it just opening, the operations seem to be running so smooth. I'm very impressed and have loved my experiences here so far! The prices are much more reasonable than other burger spots as well. Nothing bad to say, 5/5 stars!! P.S. What a nice surprise. I was out on a mission to studio city . Hadn't had any breakfast. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted. So Google Maps had me weaving through Inglewood to get to the freeway . I looked to my right and saw this place. Pleasing to the eye. Love the colors. Saw the professionalism at the drive thru. young lady in the car lane taking orders like chick filet does Loved it!!! this is now my fourth visit and I believe in an updated review to give the whole picture. Food: this was the best version of burger and onion rings. The burger was delicious. However, the only feedback I have this time is that the bun is still a bit cold and it was a little greasy, but it was a delicious burger. The onion rings are my favorite and their ranch is really good. I don't like lemonade. However, my husband does and he loves it. He thinks it's the best in town but not better than his wife's ;)! The lines could be better but it looks like the security guard is directing the flow of traffic. I pulled up and was asked to move to the outer line. 3 cars pulled into the original line I was in and all 3 were able to get their food before me. The food was good but they need to figure out a better system to make sure that customers receive their food in the order to which they came. read more

Ive never heard of storm burger, but I saw the line and figure oh this place might be pretty good. We visited the storm burger in Long Beach new location. My husband and I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich; and storm burger fries and a peach lemonade. I like fries so I had to be the first to taste. Fries were good, BUT salty. Whew..maybe it was my batch but they were delish. Maybe ask for easy on the salt. The spicy chicken was very good. Nice and spicy. Really good. The lemonade are super good. Nice cold and refreshing. Service is great! Food is trash at this location. First you get charged extra for ranch or secret sauce. The secret sauce is nothing but thousand island dressing and ketchup. Stars are allocated for the great customer service I received from employee at the front who took my order. I came here for the first time yesterday after hearing great things about the food and I was excited to try it myself, so I came and ordered the classic StormBurger combo the chicken strips, onion rings and fries, and I must say I only had the burger, onion rings and some fries, but from the taste of everything, it was delicious. However, when I was eating my food and bit into my burger there was something hard that I had swallowed that was cutting my throat and choking me... I just assumed it was the outer layer of the onion rings that they may be fried by accident so I just set it to the side to see later since there was food on it and I put the burger away and didn't touch any more of the food after looking at it today, I've discovered they are wood chips. I'm not sure what they use wood chips for maybe they smoke the meat or something, but it should not go in the food at all. The food is great but almost choking for it does not make it worth it. I hope this situation can be fixed and resolved because as a first time customer, I'm not satisfied with the overall experience. read more

Inconsistent. I've been to storm burger 3 different times. 1st time i got the jalapeño lightning burger. the burger was super messy and grilled onions were cold. 2nd time i got the classic cheese burger. it was great and tasted fresh. 3rd time i got the bacon BBQ burger and the burger was not fresh. It's a very bad experience. I was in Mother's Day. I make my order online in for six almost 200 I paid 150 and that's not what the food was like no the hamburgers there are nothing like the picture. The only thing about this is a customer service secure the cashier everybody was very nice with the food and the fries and it's a waste of money never again. read more

Disappointed.. after seeing long lines and seeing great reviews had to try it fior ourselves.. I ordered the halo peno burger but got no halo penos. My wife ordered a classic burger no cheese but got cheese. The music was loud while ordering and annoying. We were asked about 3-4 times what was the name on the order.. Top it off we paid $33.00 for 2 hamburger combos.. plus the fries were too salty.. Safe to say we wont be coming back read more

So I came by with my grandkids and my son and tried StormBurger. Let me tell you I was highly impressed with them. Oh my gosh, the bacon barbecue burger for me was my fave love the way that barbecue sauce in those onion strings were in there.Mmm. My son enjoys more of the spicy stuff so he ended up having the jalapeño one. He said it was good. He gobbled that down so quick lol. And my grandsons they have the chicken tenders. I mean, every kid loves chicken tenders and their fries you gotta get the sauce on the side they've got different varieties so we decided to try each one of them since they were enough of us. And the thing that I love the best being a mom in a budget it's definitely something affordable and absolutely delicious. So needless to say me and my babies had a great time stopping at storm burger. So do yourself a favor and head on down there promise you you'll love it. read more

Went through the drive thru and ordered the classic double. When I got home there was only one patty on the burger. The worst part is the drive thru is so hectic I wasn't going to return again to address the issue. I just took the loss and called it a day. I hope they correct this and pay closer attention to orders next time. Makes me not want to return. read more

Went today or I should say Friday night "yesterday", around 7:30pm. The place was packed, cars around the corner. HOWEVER, they had things moving and shaking, secuirty did their thing. Waited like 20-25 mins in line and with all the last minute Friday night chaos going on. The customer service was top tier, Ricky took our order and was patient, friendly and did a wonderful job taking our order, because we were so indecisive with out order. The order was correct down to the sauces and the other teamt/staff were amazing. Last but not least the burgers were good and taster fresh and loved the onion rings... this is my first time at storm burger & i just experienced the worst customer service ever. i stood outside the window for about 15-20 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. two hispanic women in polo-style shirts came to the window numerous times, looked directly through me, and never once asked if i had been helped or needed anything. it felt like i was completely ignored (WHICH I WAS). after waiting, the shorter hispanic lady finally asked me what my name was. i told her that i had been waiting there for a long time, and she responded, "i saw you standing for 10 minutes, that's why i'm coming to the window now." i then asked to speak to a manager. she said, "ok, wait, let me get you one," and as she was walking away, i noticed her shirt was different from everyone else's, so i asked if she was a manager. she verbally said "NO", but then me stating that i see her shirts are different from the rest she hesitated to tell me yes, i asked why would she deny being a manager & she said "i think you wouldn't want to speak with me." i asked for her name, and she said gissell. eventually she said she would get the other manager named star. another 5 minutes passed & neither one of the managers came back to speak with me, but later i seen star walking from around the back and went right past me to handle a situation in the drive-thru with another employee, without acknowledging me once again. i was close enough to hear the name of the other employee in drive thru named edward, she went to go have a conversation with while i was still not being helped. on top of it all, i observed star later coming back in and walking past me AGAIN. she stood at the grey machines in the middle, looking at the wall, scratching her butt, and never once washed her hands, which raised concerns about cleanliness and food safety. overall, the lack of acknowledgment, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior made this a very disappointing first experience. i do have a recording that i will be posting if it allows me. those two "managers (star & gissell) need to have training about better customer service skills. as a customer i would understand if the establishment was busy (IT WAS NOT) & they told me to wait a while but me standing outside for approximately 30mins with not even a "hi/ hello is honestly so crazy to me. read more

We had two orders. 1 classic burger combo with onions rings and a choc/vanilla shake 1 Bacon Bbq combo with onions rings and Coke Zero Got home and the first problem was the burgers were labeled wrong. Gave my husband his order the Bacon Bbq combo. Looked ok. I opened mine and even though it said classic combo burger - I opened the burger to find nothing but the crispy (soggy) onions and 2 pieces of bacon and a small squirt of bbq. That's it!! No burger! No meat! No cheese lettuce or tomato!! a bun with soggy onions 2 small piece of bacon. My shake was to be a "mix". It was only chocolate and runny The girl who took the order was great and got it right (see phot of receipt order. But it ended there was "no meat" We paid $35.34 for this!!! I went through the drive-thru, and while the staff seemed fairly young and my order was not completely accurate, the service was impressively fast. It's clear they're still getting into the rhythm of things, which is understandable for a new spot. On the food side, Storm Burger definitely delivered. I ordered the double cheeseburger with their storm sauce, and it was excellent--flavorful, well-balanced, and satisfying. The fries were crispy and cooked just right, which is always a plus. I also tried their lemonade, which was refreshing and paired well with the meal. One small detail I really appreciated was the drink packaging--the cups reminded me of boba-style cups, which gave a fun and unique touch to the experience. Recently, I placed an order at Storm Burger and was extremely disappointed. I ordered 6 burgers: 3 regular and 3 Double Burgers. When I got home and checked the order, I realized that out of the three Double Burgers, there was only one -- the other two were replaced with regular burgers. There was no warning or explanation. This means I paid for more expensive items but received cheaper ones instead. At best, this is negligence; at worst, it feels like misleading the customer. My family, especially the kids, were very upset because they were expecting exactly what we ordered. This kind of mistake is unacceptable. I expect the restaurant to contact me and resolve this issue -- either by refunding the difference or offering proper compensation. Otherwise, I will be forced to leave an appropriate rating and warn other customers about this experience. Very disappointed with the service. read more

I ordered the turkey burger with egg and bacon, and it was absolutely delicious--full of flavor and perfectly prepared. It became pretty obvious my order was skipped or lost. When I brought it up, there wasn't much urgency or clear effort to fix it, which made the situation more frustrating. Mistakes happen, but ignoring it and not communicating is what really made this a bad experience. Hopefully this gets addressed because the system clearly broke down here. Storm Burger is seriously one of my new favorite spots. The food is amazing every time I go, and the BBQ bacon burger was especially good super flavorful, juicy, and cooked just right. You can tell they don't cut corners with the quality. I also tried the peach lemonade, and it was perfect refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. On top of that, the customer service really stands out. JESS was incredible she had great energy, was super friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Brandon's customer service was honestly really good. He was easy to talk to and didn't make anything feel awkward or rushed. When I had questions, he actually took the time to explain things in a way that made sense. You could tell he cared about doing his job right and helping me out. Even when there was a small issue, he stayed calm and handled it without a problem. Overall, he made the whole experience way better than I expected, and I'd definitely go back. I've been looking for a really good burger spot nearby, and I'm so glad I found StormBurger. Not only are their burgers delicious, but they also make their lemonades fresh, which makes a huge difference. Everything tastes high quality and worth it. Today I came in and got to try one of their milkshakes, and it did not disappoint--it was so good! On top of that, the customer service was amazing. I'm SO happy to have a Storm Burger in Long Beach! I've already been three times in the last two weeks The BBQ Bacon Burger is easily one of the best burgers I've ever had!! For all my turkey lovers, they thought about us and added turkey burgers to their menu which is very much appreciated. IF you enjoy spice, the spicy apricot sauce pairs sooo well with their chicken sandwiches! I've honestly never had any sauce like it, definitely a must try! Stopped by the drive thru yesterday and saw something you don't see often. There were two different lines of cars and Brandon was handling both completely by himself. He was walking between lanes, greeting every customer with a menu, taking orders, and still keeping the line moving smoothly. Gotta admit. I throught it was going to be all hype but after waiting 30 minutes in the drive-thru and driving another 20 home. The burgers are pretty dam good! Probably even better if you eat fresh on the spot. The fries are good too. I think the process for the fries is dusting them with flour to give it that extra crunch. That with the patties made from chuck, brisket, and steak trim with just right seasoning. Delicious! Keep the storm going! read more
