I love a great burger & fries #stormburger didn't disappoint today. The food is cooked to order, there's drive thru also walk up. The only thing l didn't like is there's no outside seating other than that the customer service was great the staff was super friendly & helpful. I will definitely return the prices are good..

Yes!!! It was delicious! I went through the drive thru and that was easy and fast. Food was hot when I got home. I ordered a double cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, turkey burger, fries and onion rings. Everything was good!!! We will be back again. I highly recommend it.

I came on a weekday hoping to get some fast food for dinner but it became more of a long detour. It took about an hour from arrival to receiving my food. It seemed that there needs to be improvement in time efficiency. The drive through line was being manned by 4-5 people and in the pickup area there was 3 people. I'm not sure how many people they have cooking, but it was very laid back. Honestly, I wanted to not like Stormburgers food, but dang.. this place hits. Not only are the burgers solid (tried the Jalepeno Lightning) but the fries and onion rings are fried to perfection. I probably won't be coming here after a long shift, but for sure would have this again (if I can avoid a line.)

I've been to this location twice; once when they first opened and again recently. The first time, we waited in the drive-thru line for an hour. The parking lot is fairly small, so although it looked like there were a lot of people, it really wasn't that busy. When we finally got to the pickup window, the worker handed us our food with her back turned, which was very rude. I also realized afterward that another worker was giving out coupons for free food, but we didn't receive one. During my recent visit, the line had died down, and we got our food within five minutes. I mentioned that during their grand opening week I had waited an hour and didn't receive a coupon. The worker said, "Oh, let me get you one; please drive forward." Then another worker approached us and said they didn't have any more, and rudely asked if we had everything we needed in our order. Again, no apology. Just another rude interaction. Both times, I ordered the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, and I really enjoyed it. The bun is soft, the fried onions are crispy, and you can taste the bacon in every bite. The patty is flavorful, but on the drier side, which some people may not like, but I personally do. The onion rings are also good, but $4.99 for a small serving (about seven pieces) is overpriced. The fries are good as well, lightly seasoned and crispy. Overall, the food is good, but the customer service definitely needs improvement.

So, my family lives around the corner and they have been waiting for the hype to go down so I coaxed my sis to walk up there. It was a wait, but not bad. We ate our food, but was it sensational, it was aight. Was it pricey, well it was what to he expected... Check out my photos for the visuals. Line was packed on Sunday night. Highly recommend to just park in another lot and walk up to the window and order. We waited 15 minutes for our food versus the hours we could've waited in that drive thru line. The burgers and sandwiches were all great here. I cannot understand how this place makes a profit by keeping these prices so low and quality so high. Kudos to the owners for figuring it out. All items were great here. The deluxe chicken sandwich was the only photo I got. Chicken was crispy and the sauce was delicious. Bbq Bacon cheese burger was incredible too. Very flavorful and had a lot of different textures to make it exciting. Love storm burger and really really advise you to just park instead of going through the drive thru.

I had the most amazing experience at StormBurger. This is my kind of burger joint, 10/10 all around. Don't be intimidated by the long lines, they moved us through quickly. The double cheeseburger was full of flavor, perfectly greasy and cheesy without being sloppy, just an all around great classic cheeseburger. The fries were fresh and crispy, and the chicken tenders were crispy and really good as well. The strawberry lemonade was sweet and seriously so nice and refreshing. Ooh, and I was ecstatic to be given a sample of their chocolate shake. She saw my excitement as I chugged it down and was kind enough to give me a second one. 10/10 customer service. Cool music and vibes even for a drive thru. I need more StormBurger in my life!!

Finally got a taste of this smash burger :) Line wasn't too hectic on a Sunday afternoon. Menu was handed to once you pull in the drive through lane. I went with the double classic combo. Didn't have to wait to long to get the food. Everything I ordered was in there. Took a bite of the burger and it was good. Fries a bit salty to my liking. Peach tea was fine, not too sweet. All in all the burger is delicious. I believe going with the combo is a little pricey. Stick to the burger and you'll be good.

I tried this establishment for the first time on 4/4/26 in the evening. The drive thru line was unimaginable, thank goodness for the online ordering option. There are approximately 5 companies you can choose from to place your online order with no fee. The wait time ordering online was about 15 minutes vs 30 + minutes in the drive thru.. Per armed security we had to find a parking spot on the street, which we did and walked over to the pickup window. I ordered a turkey burger $9.99, and a double classic storm burger combo with a strawberry lemonade. $15.49. There is an up charge for the strawberry lemonade of $2. I wasn't expecting 2 juicy turkey patties on my sandwich. The bread was fresh and delicious! The burger was delicious and juicy also. I ordered the fries "no salt"and unfortunately they were salted. *I took off a star due to the salt on the fries* The lemonade was very sweet but adding water fixed that and it was perfect. Overall the food was good. Everyone seemed to be on their best behavior waiting patiently. Music was being played on speakers and lots of people watching. They probably should have opted for a bigger location with parking and the ability to handle 2 drive through lanes with ease. I forgot to get a picture of the double classic storm burger and fries.

Maybe it was just so hyped up, maybe it was because we got it delivered and the burgers were ice cold. Either way, it was not what we had hoped for. We ordered the spicy chicken deluxe, jalapeño burger, two, single patty classics, onion rings and fries. Onion rings were the stand out item, the only thing that was warm, surprisingly. They had great crunch and flavor, super yummy. Spicy chicken deluxe had a nice crunch but the slaw was too sweet it overpowered everything; I did not enjoy. The classic smashburgers were very cold but I could forgive that since, as I mentioned, it was delivered. Regardless, the patty wasn't juicy or flavorful and neither was the cheese. At least the lettuce, tomatoes and onions were very fresh! Jalapeño burger was ok. I'm not a fan of Swiss cheese. I would give them a second chance maybe, but I'd go in to check out the place in person and I think I'd only try the classic burger again, hopefully it's better fresh. From the outside, the building looks cute and clean and the parking lot is usually pretty busy.

My kids highly recommended I try StormBurger because I love a great Smashburger. This joint replaced an old churches chicken. It's right on the corner of south and Cherry and the heart of North Long Beach. I really enjoyed the look and feel of the logo and colors that they use. They have walk up windows to order if you don't want to hit the drive-through, but parking is limited. They opened at 11:30am and I got there 15 minutes after to find the parking and drive-through packed. When I arrived a fire truck parked right in front and loaded their whole crew to order lunch. Despite the craziness, they had a very cool security officer who was directing the traffic and he was doing an amazing job. There are two lanes for the drive-through and I commend the managers for having the workers outside with tablets taking orders to keep the drive-through flowing smoothly. The line took about 20 minutes, but I also know that there was a difficult customer ahead of me that was unsure of their order. Other than that, they were as organized as can be. As soon as I hit the window, my order was ready. We ordered two combos of their western bacon barbecue burgers with a side of fries and onion rings and their strawberry lemonade. I ordered a classic cheeseburger. The kids had me asked for thunder sauce, and when I asked the worker what it was, she described it as an apricot habanero and let me tell you, it's fire! So good! I really enjoyed the classic cheeseburger. It was exactly that, a classic cheeseburger with all the flavors. The strawberry lemonade is so fresh and taste homemade, the strawberries in the lemonade were perfect. Their fries and onion rings are pretty classic and traditional. Unfortunately, one of us wasn't able to finish their burger because we found a big black piece of garment thread in it, but when I message the restaurant via IG and let them know about it, they seem sincere and apologized. I just wanted them to know so that they were aware. Things happen! I'll have to go back and order something different next time. I see they have chicken sandwiches I want to try.

Good crunchy onion ring! But I think the portions are small. I got 7 onion rings. I recommend to give customers more size options. Thank you for your consideration.

I found out about this restaurant because I drove by during dinner hours a few days ago and the line was insane, thought to myself it had to be good. Decided to try it out today, and the burgers/fries were so good, I got a classic burger and a BBQ bacon burger, although we did not order the bbq burger, we ordered a chicken sandwich, and received the wrong order, but it all worked out because the bbq bacon burger was a 10/10. I still want to try the chicken sandwich. They also let us get a shake sample which is pretty awesome, I will be going back at some point to try more food on their menu. read more

Although the customer service was good, I was charged for multiple items without being informed of any upcharges. Basic condiments and toppings were billed without the server mentioning additional costs, and I was not given an itemized receipt showing a clear total to review the charges. Seeing my total reach nearly $30 felt misleading and dishonest. The lack of a contact phone number to reach the establishment, only added to the frustration. First off, let me start by saying the service was excellent, no issues there. The ambiance was just meh, nothing to write home about as it is a simple process: you either go to the drive-thru or order at their window with no dine-in available, which would be nice btw. However, as the food was tasty overall, the fries especially good as were the onion rings, the burgers have a good taste, BUT, it seems to me like they dip the entire burger in grease after the burger is completely put together. I'm not sure how they're cooking these, but there's so much grease all over, not only the burgers, but their chicken sandwich as well. My wife had a chicken sandwich and there was so much grease/oil all over it that it grossed her after one bit and threw it right in the garbage. Not sure if this can be fixed and maybe serve less oily burgers? Prices were not low, but not high. They align with most comparable burger place. read more

Lordddd I love these smash burgers. My bf gets the spicy chicken sandwich and he devours it every time. The fries have this different flavor than other places and I love them. Even the onion rings are great. Don't even get me started on the lemonades & the storm sauce. Ik it's regular kind of burger sauce but they've got a good one. The driver thru workers always get my order right and the service is pretty fast even when the line looks long. read more

I thought this place was gonna knock our socks off bcuz the line and how packed it was. Unfortunately, it just did not hit like I thought it would. The most basic, underwhelming, no flavor, with greasy burger buns, dry meat, and no "wow" factor at all. The only thing we liked was the peach and strawberry lemonade. The jalepeno burger was cool, I'd rate it 6/10, classic burger (so dry!) 4/10, bbq burger (also dry!) 5/10. Patties had no real flavor and tasted burnt. I will say besides the food, security did a nice job at getting the lines together. Just know on a busy night there's a line out to the street in the right hand turning lane on Cherry Ave. Overall, nothing special and don't know if I'd be back. Definitely not worth the wait of that line and definitely overhyped on social media read more

The older black man w/ the bald head working the drive thru line today was really rude. There was a small gap between our car & the car infront of us, and he yelled at my mom to move forward with such a demeaning tone & even walked around the cars to give us a dirty look. I would understand the urgency if there was a long line of cars behind us that was spilling onto the street, but there was literally no one behind us at that point because we had just gotten in line. The space infront of us wasn't even the length of a full car, which made it even more unnecessarily rude. No line behind us, not a huge gap infront- what was the reason for yelling? The burgers here are good but there are plenty of good burger spots in LB without all that hostility. read more

This review is only for the quality of service and not for the food. The food there is great. The people and the employees are great. They can be faster than a very slow. They are not trained correctly. Their ordering system is horrible. Their line system is horrible. I suggest if you want to eat somewhere and not be late to work or anywhere else that you need to be StormBurger is not the place to be go to In-N-Out and go to anywhere else. Great customer service but the burger is ok. No real flavor. They were super busy so I don't know if that's why my burger was sloppily put together. The patty itself was super thin and barely in one piece. The Coke Zero tasted like water, totally flat . It tasted like water with a little coke in it. The fries were good. I'll give this place one more try once they have been open for a while and have ironed out the bugs. I had a better burger in the Cedars Sinai Hospital cafe . I live across the street and I see the lines every day so I figured the first time I try this place order about 30 mins in advance online walk up pick up the food. Although the staff is nice. I waited at the pick up window 38 minutes passed the completion time on door dash. They seemed more worried about fixing the Playlist so they could bump music more than completing the order. It was 2 chicken sandwiches and it took over an hr I forced my way into the window about 10 times and they would always just say its not ready. When I was finally handed my bag these sandwiches were cold and the receipt on the bag said order due by 3:45 pm. I took the food at 4:27 and it was cold. How long was my order ready? Holy moly! This was definitely one of the best meals I've had in a REALLY long time. I genuinely enjoyed every single bite, whether it was the burger, the fries, the onion rings, all the sauces; every single thing on the menu was delicioussss. Of course I had to try the strawberry lemonade and that definitely did not disappoint. We were met with such nice faces and such great attitudes from all the people there, that it made it such an enjoyable overall experience. Simply amazing, packed with flavor. The burgers are juicy, filling, and smacking. I got my baby girl the chicken tenders and they are homemade juicy chicken breast perfectly coated with flavor! I'm sorry, I really expected this place to be fire. I'm from here but now live in the IE and each time I'm out here and I've attempted to stop the lines were extremely long so I just knew they must be fire. I was so disappointed, I don't understand the hype and lines. I love turkey burgers and drive to Inglewood Quick n split or Watts Hawkins so when the reviews said how good they were here I just had to try. What a disappointment, honestly the burger looked like it was going to be bomb but it lacked flavor and seasoning. My son had the classic dbl and he'd tried his first because I was driving to someplace to park and eat, as soon as he said it's not gross, I knew something was wrong. He said I'm trying to see why they have a line, so I took one bite of mine and wrapped it up, like ugh. If you're familiar with turkey, you know it has to be seasoned, this tasted like turkey out of the package without any seasoning, no flavor at all. I must say that the strawberry/peach lemonade mix was delicious and their fries and onion rings were delicious as well. Thank goodness I had ordered chicken tenders and they saved the day so my son and I shared those on our drive back home. Now their customer service is excellent from the order takers (Paul especially) to the security and the line moves pretty fast but thanks, no thanks read more

I think that outside of the pop-up, The Ordinarie is a fun spot to check out in Long Beach. The burger patty was not seasoned, and I don't eat condiments, so the bacon and onion was left to flavor the burger. It was still very mediocre and served with cold un-melted cheese. I would have given it a second chance if it weren't for the cook but I will not be returning.

this is my first time at storm burger & i just experienced the worst customer service ever. i stood outside the window for about 15-20 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. two hispanic women in polo-style shirts came to the window numerous times, looked directly through me, and never once asked if i had been helped or needed anything. it felt like i was completely ignored (WHICH I WAS). after waiting, the shorter hispanic lady finally asked me what my name was. i told her that i had been waiting there for a long time, and she responded, "i saw you standing for 10 minutes, that's why i'm coming to the window now." i then asked to speak to a manager. she said, "ok, wait, let me get you one," and as she was walking away, i noticed her shirt was different from everyone else's, so i asked if she was a manager. she verbally said "NO", but then me stating that i see her shirts are different from the rest she hesitated to tell me yes, i asked why would she deny being a manager & she said "i think you wouldn't want to speak with me." i asked for her name, and she said gissell. eventually she said she would get the other manager named star. another 5 minutes passed & neither one of the managers came back to speak with me, but later i seen star walking from around the back and went right past me to handle a situation in the drive-thru with another employee, without acknowledging me once again. i was close enough to hear the name of the other employee in drive thru named edward, she went to go have a conversation with while i was still not being helped. on top of it all, i observed star later coming back in and walking past me AGAIN. she stood at the grey machines in the middle, looking at the wall, scratching her butt, and never once washed her hands, which raised concerns about cleanliness and food safety. overall, the lack of acknowledgment, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior made this a very disappointing first experience. i do have a recording that i will be posting if it allows me. those two "managers (star & gissell) need to have training about better customer service skills. as a customer i would understand if the establishment was busy (IT WAS NOT) & they told me to wait a while but me standing outside for approximately 30mins with not even a "hi/ hello is honestly so crazy to me. read more

It said on their recording (and how sad that I can't get a live person on the phone), ...I would get a response in 24 hours. It's now 3 days later and NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT! We went through It was our first time trying Storm. So unhappy and disappointed and dissatisfied!! We had two orders. 1 classic burger combo with onions rings and a choc/vanilla shake 1 Bacon Bbq combo with onions rings and Coke Zero Got home and the first problem was the burgers were labeled wrong. Gave my husband his order the Bacon Bbq combo. Looked ok. I opened mine and even though it said classic combo burger - I opened the burger to find nothing but the crispy (soggy) onions and 2 pieces of bacon and a small squirt of bbq. That's it!! No burger! No meat! No cheese lettuce or tomato!! a bun with soggy onions 2 small piece of bacon. My shake was to be a "mix". It was only chocolate and runny The girl who took the order was great and got it right (see phot of receipt order. But it ended there was "no meat" We paid $35.34 for this!!! I went through the drive-thru, and while the staff seemed fairly young and my order was not completely accurate, the service was impressively fast. It's clear they're still getting into the rhythm of things, which is understandable for a new spot. On the food side, Storm Burger definitely delivered. I ordered the double cheeseburger with their storm sauce, and it was excellent--flavorful, well-balanced, and satisfying. The fries were crispy and cooked just right, which is always a plus. I also tried their lemonade, which was refreshing and paired well with the meal. One small detail I really appreciated was the drink packaging--the cups reminded me of boba-style cups, which gave a fun and unique touch to the experience. Recently, I placed an order at Storm Burger and was extremely disappointed. I ordered 6 burgers: 3 regular and 3 Double Burgers. When I got home and checked the order, I realized that out of the three Double Burgers, there was only one -- the other two were replaced with regular burgers. There was no warning or explanation. This means I paid for more expensive items but received cheaper ones instead. At best, this is negligence; at worst, it feels like misleading the customer. My family, especially the kids, were very upset because they were expecting exactly what we ordered. This kind of mistake is unacceptable. I expect the restaurant to contact me and resolve this issue -- either by refunding the difference or offering proper compensation. Otherwise, I will be forced to leave an appropriate rating and warn other customers about this experience. Very disappointed with the service. read more

Went in during a busy time, which I understand, but waited about 20 minutes for a single burger while watching multiple customers who ordered after me get their food first. It became pretty obvious my order was skipped or lost. When I brought it up, there wasn't much urgency or clear effort to fix it, which made the situation more frustrating. Mistakes happen, but ignoring it and not communicating is what really made this a bad experience. Hopefully this gets addressed because the system clearly broke down here. I'm SO happy to have a Storm Burger in Long Beach! I've already been three times in the last two weeks The BBQ Bacon Burger is easily one of the best burgers I've ever had!! For all my turkey lovers, they thought about us and added turkey burgers to their menu which is very much appreciated. IF you enjoy spice, the spicy apricot sauce pairs sooo well with their chicken sandwiches! I've honestly never had any sauce like it, definitely a must try! Pulled up to the drive thru and Brandon was running things like a total pro. He greeted every customer with a genuine smile, took orders quickly and clearly, and kept the line moving without any delays. Everything came out exactly right, and the food was straight fire. Stopped by the drive thru yesterday and saw something you don't see often. There were two different lines of cars and Brandon was handling both completely by himself. He was walking between lanes, greeting every customer with a menu, taking orders, and still keeping the line moving smoothly. Even close to closing time, he stayed friendly, patient, and professional with everyone. Stopped by the drive thru the other day and Brandon was holding it down like always. He was moving fast, greeting everyone with a smile, and making sure orders were correct. Even with a busy line, he stayed calm and friendly the whole time. The food came out hot and exactly how I wanted it definitely hit the spot. Gotta admit. I throught it was going to be all hype but after waiting 30 minutes in the drive-thru and driving another 20 home. The burgers are pretty dam good! Probably even better if you eat fresh on the spot. The fries are good too. I think the process for the fries is dusting them with flour to give it that extra crunch. That with the patties made from chuck, brisket, and steak trim with just right seasoning. Delicious! Keep the storm going! read more
