We had our pre-wedding shoot back in December in Sedona and I must say that we were a little anxious before the shoot as we are not locals and we didn't really know how this would turn out. I went with my gut as I thought that his works were really good when I visited his website. My gut didn't fail me and it turned out even better than expected. Joshua really made the effort to ease the nerves when we had our shoot and helped us to make things go smoothly. He really has the eye for detail that made our photos spectacular. Not only did he shoo away our nosey family members while we were trying to have private moments, but he went out of his way to make sure that every special moment was captured. We selected Joshua from reviews on wedding websites (theknot, weddingwire, etc.) and checked out his work on instagram (@photographybyjoshuakilleen). Prior to signing our agreement, Joshua Killeen responded swiftly to all of my emails and multiple phones calls and ultimately, put my mind at ease. On our big day, Joshua showed up early to our venue to scope out the area and the lighting. Joshua told us where our first look would be and where we would take our family portraits - absolutely amazing! We needed Joshua to stay past our original contracted time frame and he was so happy, to do so. Joshua was our wedding photographer so when it came time to take family pictures we knew that he could be entrusted for the job! He is very easy to work with and very understanding when working out scheduling for the shoots. On the shoot he picks out the perfect locations that bring out the best photo results! He also great at putting his subjects at ease since he is so confident in his work. Our shoot lasted for about 2 hours but it didn't seem like because it was so fun. We received our pictures about a week and a half after the shoot and have received nothing but compliments from our friends and family since. I am definitely overdue in writing this review! Joshua was our photographer for our wedding engagement photos. He has such a creative eye, and passion for what he does. He definitely has the tricks to get the best shots. He is good at what he does, and making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Awesome communication before, during, and after our photo shoot, and I had my photos so fast after our session. So easy to work with. He lent his ideas, but the session really was all about what we wanted. He never once tried to make it about him or the photos he wanted to take. I am so happy with every photo he took, and I am looking forward to seeing more of his magic when we get married later on this year. He will definitely be my go to photographer for every event/occasion I may have that requires the services of a photographer. I honestly wish I didn't have to write this review but after so much trouble, I feel it necessary to warn others about this company. As a bride, it's a terrible feeling when your most precious moments are lost and you have no way of reliving those memories - even when you're willing to pay more to get them. We used Josh & his team for our wedding back in Nov, 2019 and since then, have been trying everything possible to get our wedding video footage. While he was pretty great the day of our wedding, our interactions were very inconsistent since that day (and slightly before). While we've tried to be sensitive to that and his constant excuses, it doesn't make up for how we've been treated and what it means to be in a business relationship. The biggest issue, which we believe he got offended by and caused the latter, is that we were so disappointed with the photos returned to us after the wedding. These photos were NOTHING like displayed on his instagram - our most prize moments were blurry, overly grainy, yellow, and mostly very dark. There were a decent amount, maybe 20 photos, that we were okay with however. We had to push to get the raw files of all said photos - we he eventually caved into it. The 2nd part was the 2-3 minute wedding video he was to include in our package. We NEVER received this. It's been over a year now and the last email we received from him he said he couldn't deliver this to us and that he had a sick family member/how dare we bother him. It's literally devastating that someone could be this petty over video footage when a) they are just hanging onto it and b) we OFFERED TO PAY to get this. If someone is complaining about the effects of Covid to their business as much as this, why wouldn't you want to make extra cash? Overall please don't waste your time here and feel free to DM me if you need evidence of mentioned issues. The icing on the cake: today they posted a INSTAGRAM post of our wedding day saying how nice it was to meet/work with us, all FAKE! Literally disgusting. read more

I was a little panicked on the wedding day (like every bride normally is) and as soon as he came in to meet with us he was very helpful and I felt a sense of calm. He went over with me what photos I specifically wanted and he kind of took the reins and shot what he thought would look best.
