Wow, avoid them like the plague! I talked to Jason, and I needed him to send someone out because they broke a light bulb putting one of our ceiling fans in, I replaced the bulb myself, $12.00, but I couldn't get the screws of the outside covering off, he told me to get a friend to change it, and I don't have any that want to climb a ladder! He refused to send anyone out because my dad questioned them about the quote of $575.00 install fee, over the phone before they came out, and THEN he added that because my dad questioned the price which was more than what was paid for the fans-that he wasn't going to send anyone out! So much for taking care of your customers. They are rude. Idiots and I do believe they charge too much. I only give one star because that's the lowest I could give them. read more

I requested an estimate to run wire from my electric panel to the outdoor kill switch for a mini split heat pump. I have installed several of these prior to putting mine in & as always wanted the electrical portion completed by a licensed electrician. Some guy shows up & parks his truck in my driveway (which contractors are not supposed to do w/o your consent) and proceeds to try to tell me I should let them install the mini split. It was obvious from the start he wanted to add services that I did not require or ask for. He told me he would have the quote to me by the next day. I never received quote even though they have my email, phone, text & address. To all my existing & new neighbors moving into St. G, I would not recommend them due to lack of professionalism. read more

We just had them relocate a wire for us that was obstructing the installation of a recessed ironing board. Their electrician even recommended the installation of an outlet next to the ironing board for the iron (that wall didn't have any outlets and something that I overlooked). He completed the work very expeditiously, did a great job, was communicative and courteous, and left the work site clean. I was looking for an electrician in the Saint George, UT area to install a 240V receptacle for a Tesla charger in my parents garage. I did some research and found Stout Electric. We called and discussed the project with Jason and scheduled the install. Jason called the day before to confirm the appointment and double check which breaker box we had so they could bring the correct breaker with them. Jason gave us a free bid that we found very reasonable for the work we wanted done. He came over with Rony and installed a 30 amp RV outlet outside the garage in case we ever want to charge a car. They installed a generator switch to our main panel, a light fixture and GFCI outlet in our lathe and plaster bathroom, 3 ceiling fans plus connecting the attic fan to power, a grounded outlet near the living room, 3 outlets in the garage and one outside. They threw in gratis a new switch to the bedroom fan as well as replacing the outlet and switch in the storage room when they installed the fan there. We are so happy! read more

Second time was a charm as well with Stout Electric! This time Ronnie was my electrician and did extensive work, for more than 7 hours,around my home replacing Fluorescent lights and non-LED lights with LED lights making the entire house with only LED lighting! Also Ronnie installed battery powered motion detector lights in closets without electricity so that I wouldn't install cheap tape on lights! Ronnie also had great patience and professionalism as he tackled multiple obstacles in installing a LED floodlight with sensor to illuminate the backyard entrances if anyone intruded at night. He worked hard to install a light switch to the security floodlight if I wanted a peaceful dark backyard for guests during get togethers without floodlight going off! He repaired rocker switches as well! And he was patient enough to let me wash off light coverings to suspected fluorescent lights in need of LED replacement! And for over 7 hours hard work for an electrician installing and repairing multiple lights and switches? Charge was less than $1000! Very nice! I have more work for these guys ahead!
