Thinking that I'm making great time, my luck starts to turn when I blow out a tire. OK, small problem - I've got a doughnut spare that might get me the 160 remaining miles home if I drive real slow. I swap on the spare and am on my merry way when ten minutes later a second tire blows. OK, bigger problem - I'm in the middle of no-where with no cell reception and every place of business closed for the holiday. We see a farm house down the road and decide to seek some help. As luck would have it, the owner of Bear Lake Car Care lives here! Bob and his wife graciously invited us in their home (me and the wife, two fighting kids and our yet to be house-broken mutt). They entertained and took care of us for several hours in their home while we waited for two tires to be delivered from Salt Lake (my car has very unique tires). It was around 11pm before Bob could finally put the new tires on. He went out of his way, giving up his day off (and night) to make sure we were taken care of.
