Mr Thank You has mainly stocks a range of cheap novelty T-shirts and unisex bags with pop culture references. There is also plenty of cheap jewellery including the teen popular ear stretchers (gauges, tapers and spirals). Angsty youths also have access to knock-off Zippos and various pipes. With identification you can also pick up a hunting knife or two which is always fun to sell side-by-side with instruments used for getting high. The staff members quietly eye you from behind their counter which I think is typical small mall store behavior, especially in a store that attracts excitable teenagers. Though I'm not sure if I received a thank you from Mr Thank You. Come to think of it I don't think he was a man.

A favourite hat of mine in the store, I was told, is popular with many people, enough so that it has been requested for use on top of a model and graced the front of a U.K. magazine. It is a burgundy velvet hat with a large front brim and a large ribbon, the pattern on the fabric is what makes it, Carolyn Gibson, the master milliner thinks, I told her it is also in the little details of her craftsmen ship, in my opinion. As you might have already guessed, I am a big fan of hats, not a shoe girl, jackets and hats do it for me! I highly recommend dropping in for a visit, as seeing them in person is much better than on a website.

There are some secondhand clothes hanging up in the store kind of as an afterthought, but I couldn't see any prices on them. The whole time I was there I was being watched very closely by one of the people working there, which made me uncomfortable. Can't say I'm in a hurry to go back to this one.

They could probably fit loads more stock on the floor but the flow of the store is great. They've got a wide range of denim here for women, and since I live in jeans, it was a great sight. North Beach is also home to all your favourite surf brands and you're bound to find what you're looking for from wallets and dresses to boardies and watches. My first visit here was pretty good and I made a very nice investment in a new bag. The staff here seem really chilled out to me and are really nice to talk to, not overbearing but always willing to lend a hand, which is how I prefer to be served when I'm out and about. They also stock my favourite New Zealand brand, RPM, and this branch is one of the only two surf stores I go to in Auckland to check them out, because their service is far better. Unless you're after something specific, you could easily spend a good half an hour or so in here just browsing, especially since you's have to walk across the road from the mall, or drive to get there- may as well make the most of your trip! I for one am looking forward to making a trip here in the winter for some Huffer knits and Wrangler jeans- its your perfect all-season store.

I can't really speak for women but for men, I think it's a good place for a dressier kind of shoe, perhaps for a special occasion. You can get good quality sandals here too but perhaps Overland is better if you are looking for comfy shoes such as Sketchers. I actually bought my wedding shoes here and though they looked very shiny and classy on the day, my feet were aching afterwards. Another thing that Hannahs are good for is children shoes. My brother in law bought shoes here for his son and he said the staff were really good about measuring his foot and all the rest. Some of the shoes are over a hundred dollars here but they often do a deal where you can buy a pair of shoes and get another at half price.

I shop here infrequently as located in New Lynn, however they cater for all your needs with Number 1 Shoes, Cotton On, Countdown, Farmers, JB Hi-Fi, Tank, retail banks and so forth. Great parking: 180 mins free. Most of the retail staff are friendly and communicative. LynnMall are undergoing some serious cosmetic work on the shop front - which will be greatly appreciated by the likes of me! They just need a decent coffee shop now!

For anyone who needs outdoor gear, this place is great. They have all the well known and quality brands for sale, and it's all pretty well discounted. If you don't actually need anything though I'd suggest that you should probably stay away as you'll end up buying something that you don't need, like I did. The store itself is not what you'd call a designer's masterpiece, but I guess there's no need for it to be pretty when it's not going to be there forever. It serves its purpose, which is to sell cheap outdoor gear and lots of it. Oh they also have some snowboard clothing near the back.

This was a bad move, I totally found a dress that I really love and it doesnt even go with anything else that I own nor does it go with the limited funds in my bank account either. The asian storeperson was really helpful (it helps if she wants to make her commission quota for the day), but no she was really sweet and even offered to find me some awesome jewellery to go with the dress *sigh* which I bought too of course. You see, I love floor rugs and would gladly decorate every room with them if the bank balance allowed, plus I co-run a non-profit organisation that has meditation as a large component - so I was after some traditional prayer rugs. They had a few, the 'small' sizes were 68 x 105 and cost $59.00 each. Ornate beauties. They shop is obscurely tucked close by to New Lynn Mall on Clark Street,number 18.

The Starbucks here doesn't do the App rewards but there is free wi-fi, which is great if you're googling the Foreign exchange rate so you know what you're supposed to get at the banks or exchange stores. Now with a boutique store in the ever-trendy Newmarket shops, Misty Lang has really come in to its own, and the brand has quite a following! The store itself is pretty small and nothing much out of the ordinary, but the atmosphere is really friendly and funky and well-suited to the clothing. The girls that work there are always really lovely and happy to give you advice regarding which garments best suit you, and unlike with some retail assistants, the feedback from the girls at Misty Lang has always seemed really genuine and nice. Tip: If you are after some nice, eclectic, pretty jewellery Misty Lang has some beautiful pieces and they are really well priced. Not everyone will have the things Misty stocks! The original and support this local NZ designer!
