They politely told me in broken english that was not possible so I knew we would be in for an authentic german meal at suppertime. Our party of 9 had a fabulous time. The beer was great, the food was great, the service was great. The band played what I think was german punk during Octoberfest. None of the staff spoke fluent english but that was not a problem. There were a couple of dogs (golden or lab retrievers) roaming around that were just part of the restaurant.. I don't think they get alot of americans so the owner (I think) came over to visit a while. We probably spend 4 hours dining and beer drinking. I absolutely plan on visiting again next time I go to Octoberfest.

Young and beautiful business professionals, students, and those people, like myself, that don't really fit into either of those categories fill this place on most of the evenings that I've decided to go there. The candlelight and dark wood appears classy, but not too overly romantic if you just want a casual night out with a friend. On the other hand, the service is in the "two star" category at best, the drinks are far too sweet or totally watered down, and I always leave feeling as though I could have had the exact same drink elsewhere. That being said, I will still probably go here again. There is something about the location and place itself that draw me in. :)

Everyone there is super friendly and down to take a drink with you. - The ambiance there makes it perfect to go with a group of friends or have a date. Every time I go I see both situations, and everyone is enjoying themselves. - The mixed drinks there are the best I found. Hands down. They were strong and really delicious. Try their mojito. - Ask them to surprise you, ask them for recommendations -- they always come through with a brilliant cocktail creation.
